Though funny as it is we have What a mess, went with my wife on Friday 4pm it is now wed and we still haven't finalized our deal with the dealership. Though funny as it is we have the vehicle. Originally we had issues without sales guy Victor who gave us a chance to sit down in person 1-1 and talk about it. That turned out good in the end. However the financing etc we have had nothing but issues dealing with Nathan, he has been avoiding our calls for the past few days only to talk to us in the beginning after giving us the vehicle having us sign all the paper work and letting us drive it home to tell us we still have to send information in. I feel like I'm doing his job for him, we sent everything he asked and more, he then asked for more, so we acknowledged and sent more bugging our work place constantly for information to please Nathan. We figured sending everything above and beyond what he had asked for would be enough and it still isn't enough. Almost a week has gone by and we are still trying to finalize everything for a vehicle we purchased and are now driving for almost a week. On top of all of this he has pushed us into options we don't want or need just to make it look like he is getting us a deal in the end now we are making smaller monthly payments of about $4 less a month for a longer period. I'll give him he is good at manipulation. We originally were going in to see a vehicle promised to us for $24,500 and they had said they sold it before we got there even though they promised to hold it for us for 1 day, we then were sold on a vehicle for $26,500 not coming down on price for the issues we had or anything and when asked about any sort of deal we received a chuckle for our hassle. It's like dealing with the devil there. I would not recommend anyone go to this dealership, unless you thrive on annoyances, pain, and anguish. At least you are guaranteed one thing to get when you go there, ulcers, a headache, and to be unhappy in the end, if the end ever comes. More
Is it possible to achieve a negative stars rating? I am now convinced it is! I went to look at an 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD that was listed for 19 grand took it for a test drive and immediately knew it now convinced it is! I went to look at an 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD that was listed for 19 grand took it for a test drive and immediately knew it had some front end issues and was assured it would all be fixed, the command start did not work either, even though it was advertised as having one. I also mentioned this when I looked at the truck and again I was assured that would also be fixed. I then told them the only way I would buy the truck was if it would be ready for Monday September 26th with everything fixed. I was then told that I had to pay $3500 worth of repairs to the truck but they would "give me a deal and do them for $2500. Again I was assured that was not a problem. The truck was not ready and we were promised that it would be then ready for our trip the following day. Waited at the dealership on the 27 until 5 pm to be told that wasn't ready. While on holidays in Hinton, we were in constant contact with the dealership, because they have now promised to deliver the truck to us at our camping spot and as a show of good faith, to also reimburse us for the gas for our trip. They finally delivered the truck on September 29th. When I returned from holidays, after contacting the dealership and taking in receipts, they said it wouldn't be long and they would get our check ready and also, fix the command start which was still not working. After many calls to the dealership, asking about when we can bring it in as the brakes were squeaking, the command start, the shocks were so bad that we now lost both front hubcaps, rattling noises in the front end and while in park, the speedometer would read 20 KM. We took the truck back to the dealership on September 14th and we were told the Command start wouldn't be replaced as it was after factory and that there is nothing wrong with the brakes or shocks. I asked about the 30 day return policy I had in my purchase clause and was told it only applied to "a major mechanical defect" which my vehicle did not have. After nearly three weeks at the dealership I got the truck back with a new speedometer and a working command start but that's all and according to their mechanics "shocks are good for the life of a vehicle and there's nothing wrong with the brakes". I finally received a check for the gas I was promised after numerous different stories "we mailed it? I'm not sure? its lost in accounting? its not signed? we'll deliver it today and other stories after I honestly lost track of how many phone calls we made and then we finally received it today Oct 4th AND THEY SPELLED MY NAME WRONG!!!!!!! so after nearly six weeks I'm tired of dealing with them, tired of not having my calls returned, not only by sales people, service area and their General Manager, tired of stupidity, tired of broken promises and tired of my new bouncing all over the places squealing brakes truck that "has nothing wrong with it"?????!!!!!! Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied! So unless you really feel like getting screwed over, lied to and ignored GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Beware of this dealership! They use the 'bait & switch' scam. The folks there are very friendly when you walk in, all smiles, shaking hands, offering drinks and promising the moon. One of the f switch' scam. The folks there are very friendly when you walk in, all smiles, shaking hands, offering drinks and promising the moon. One of the first things they get you to do is put down a $500.00 payment on a Credit Card. I'm still not entirely sure what that was for. Perhaps a hook should I decide to not purchase from them? (They did refund that money after I purchased a new 2014 vehicle, but it wasn't done voluntarily. I had to return to the dealership and ask to have it removed from my CC.) Kia was advertising - as did this particular dealership - purchase a new 2014 model, get a 0% interest loan OAC (on approved credit), 84 months to pay it off, and no payments for the first 60 days. Found the car I liked, asked them if I will be getting all of the above, they did a credit check - were satisfied with my credit report- and said yes. There is a $500.00 'administration' cost that is added to the vehicle - they said it is to pay for their overhead, salaries, and the trouble of having to deal with a financial institution to get the loan approved. After all the paperwork was done and the vehicle in my possession, found out it is NOT at 0%, the loan is only for 60 months, and the automatic withdrawals began immediately. Returned to the dealership, asked them why they did it this way after promising a totally different deal - and they blamed it on the bank. (TD Financial) Phoned the bank in question, and they said that they were going by the information supplied by the dealership. Back to Southtown Kia. Though I had the car in my possession, they had not given me a copy of the agreement (?) that they claimed I signed. Even for a simple thing like getting the Bill Of Sale from them so I could register the vehicle, I had to make another trip to the dealership to ask for a copy. With the bungled information they supplied the bank, and the hardship I had to go through just to figure out what really happened, they don't deserve that $500.00 fee. If after reading this and the other reviews on this site you still wish to give them a go at your money, bring a lawyer with you to read all the fine print. (And there are pages upon pages of it) These folks are iffy at best. I'm not sure if Go Auto is aware of these fraudulent practices this dealership employs on its customers, but I'm sure they must have heard something by now. More
My car buying experience at the Southtown Kia dealership was excellent! Scott McPherson was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. His customer service was, in my opinion, second to none! He we was excellent! Scott McPherson was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. His customer service was, in my opinion, second to none! He went the "extra mile", without being pushy, to ensure that I was well informed about the vehicle I was buying and that I was comfortable buying it. Scott, Johnny and Jason worked well as a Team to ensure my car buying experience was a very satisfying one. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone! I love my new Kia! Thanks so much! More
I recently visited southtown kia to make my first ever car purchase. This was a terrible ordeal wrought with lack of communication, frustration, and general lack of knowledge. When I first entered I was g car purchase. This was a terrible ordeal wrought with lack of communication, frustration, and general lack of knowledge. When I first entered I was greeted promptly by a few salesmen, before one stepped up to help me. I gave him what I was looking for, how much I was willing to pay, how much I could put down, and he set to work trying to get information for me. We settled on a price and off to finance we went - this is where it went down hill VERY quickly. Because it was a holiday, I was told I could head home, banks are closed, I'd hear from them "tomorrow or the next day". After not hearing anything the first day, I called. I was given a very vague wave off by the finance department with a "these things take time". I know constant calls from customers can be regarded as annoying, so I kept it to a minimum, always waiting until after banks had closed and they should have an answer. Anytime I did call, I was given very vague information. At one point when I told them I was considering taking my money back and going elsewhere the woman in finance took on a very rude tone telling me I just need patience. It took them almost two weeks to approve me, and even then it was "in house" financing via Go Auto. At almost triple the interest rate, double the monthly payments, they said I could have a much lower quality version of the car we had agreed on. After refusing this offer, since it was WILDLY out of my price range, I asked for my down payment back so I could go elsewhere. It took almost 45 minutes before anyone could get my money back to me, and then they had the gall to ask if I'd be back anytime soon. Too long, didn't read version: This dealership is owned by Go Auto. Go Auto is a JOKE at best, and a nightmare at worst! Stay away! Stay WELL away if you have any pride in yourself!! More
I recently bought a Kia Sportage and i did so because of an old aquaintance working there. When I pickup the car, it was dented and dirty and during the sale of the car there was alot of negative correspon an old aquaintance working there. When I pickup the car, it was dented and dirty and during the sale of the car there was alot of negative correspondence. I felt as if they were trying to tell me anything to sell it. I checked a competitor (hyndai south) which was even worse. Furthermore they promised me 5 fill ups of gas which they are now trying to dispute it and I have only had 2. I cant with until my so called unlimited oil changes and lifetime paint protection (redone every 2 years) to see how they can screw me again. Someone elses post: "One of the sales managers had said I could get a free tank of gas because of that and when I asked about that free tank of gas again everyone played dumb. I have found this dealership to be one of the most unprofessional dealerships" - I WISH I HAD READ THIS POST BEFORE. More
South town Kia is a very nice and professional place and I felt Comfortable as soon as i stepped in being greeted by multiple people. Anyway I really had my eyes on the new optima but with my credit rating I felt Comfortable as soon as i stepped in being greeted by multiple people. Anyway I really had my eyes on the new optima but with my credit rating it wasn't possible ... Yet. So they got me into another car for a short time so I cam eventually trade it in for an optima. I'm really new at all this and it's my first time buying from a dealership but they had walked me through everything step by step on how to get into my new car. Everyone's been real helpful from the sales rep to the finance department and even the managers introduced themselves. They service my car regularly and I come there to hang all the time. I highly recommend south town Kia, not only for the quality of cars but the stellar customer service they provide there. Thanks a bunch you guys. More
I have recently purchased my second KIA from South Town Kia a couple weeks ago. My sales rep was Nic Pham and he was amazing to work with! Always available to answer my questions and demonstrated great cus Kia a couple weeks ago. My sales rep was Nic Pham and he was amazing to work with! Always available to answer my questions and demonstrated great customer service! He ensured I was comfortable with the vehicle I was about to purchase as well with the pricing. My experience with Nic was wonderful however I wont say that my experience with another department was as pleasant. With that being said though, I had both the sales manager and finance director sit down with me and discuss my concerns as well as rectfiy them- Another example of customer service. As we all know buying a new vehicle from a dealership can be daunting with the bartering back and forth between the management on what we both feel the car is worth; I can honestly say that South Town Kia met me more then half way on everything I asked for. This is a good group of guys in this dealership and I would definitly refer family and friends to them. I referred my sister a week after my purchase to Nic Pham and she as well was given great service by him and loves her new Kia Rio! Thank you Nic Pham, Jason Liber , Ashley and Drew Norman for everything ! I absolutely LOVE my new KIA Sportage and I will see you in a couple years for an upgrade!! More

I found my sales person very helpful and honest about the purchasing process. Was very disappointed in other staff members at southtown kia, as they seemed to lack experience in departments in which they wor purchasing process. Was very disappointed in other staff members at southtown kia, as they seemed to lack experience in departments in which they worked. When in inquired on additional information, it felt like they were sending me in circles and when requesting to speak to the gsm or gm, they were always unavailable. Furthermore, a sales manager garaunteed that they could put me in a better vehicle, and after little effort from the finance department, I was denied. And when questioning why I was denied I still have been left in the dark. Sales person was amazing, the rest of the staff could use some serious training! I will definitely not visit that dealership again. More
