Salesman was nice enough but the price advertised went way up from initial agreement. We wasted over a week coming and going as we are from out of town. Sneaky petes. Enough said. More

They don't honour their own website deals citing the deal is expired even though it's still advertised online 2 months after it supposedly expired and no expiry date on the website. I emailed a sales manager to try and get an answer and didn't have the courtesy to reply. They snuck in a security and tire protection packages in to the sale by having it typewritten while everything else was handwritten while we negotiated numbers. I asked what it was and was told it was a mandatory tax they had to charge which is why it was typewritten in. We agreed to a price with those numbers on the bill of sale. Then after we agreed to a final price and returned days later to sign the final documents and pick up the vehicle they then added A total of $980 difference from our original agreement. When asked why the price changed I was told because my trade in value didn't cover the cost of the loan. This accounted for $300 of the $980 they added. They put our address wrong in all of our documents. I requested they fix it immediately and they said they would. I called the bank over 2 weeks later and no change had been made. The bank has sent all of the mail to someone else. After we had agreed on a price but before we picked up our vehicle a sales manager called us saying they accidently sold our vehicle to someone else. Since we signed documents first it was supposedly ours but he could offer us a deal if we went with another vehicle. Said they had the same one, same trim, same year, same everything and he'd give us $1000 off if we took it. Well this was a used vehicle as it had 4500 km on it. We politely declined this scam. We were told as an incentive they'd give us all weather mats. They would be in the vehicle when we picked it up. When they weren't in there we were told the carpet was the all weather mat. When I disagreed we were told to flip the mat over and the rubber on the other side would protect against the snow and mud. Obviously not true. Finally told mats were on back order and we would get them when they come in. We weren't even given the proper paperwork so that we could register the vehicle. Had to go back the next day to and request the NVIS. This dealership has 1980 used car dealership written all over it with their slimy tricks. Thank goodness I had copies of everything I signed and could call them out on this. Our sales person was very friendly and appeared to be trying to help us but with everything that happened it seemed like this is a management issue as they created a sales culture of unethical behaviour to squeeze a tiny bit extra out of every sale by shady tricks. Everything went through the sales manager so the blame is on them. This probably works more often than not so I don't see a change in the future. I've had to put in so much of my own time to fix their mistakes and try to get the money back to equal our original agreed price. It's too bad because we love the vehicle we bought. Suggest that if you have any issues you communicate through email so that you have a record including time and date. They can't be taken at their word. More

Also, Kia bought a lot of awards for advertising. Kia's design is very bad. I bought a Kia Rio last year, but I sold this car for half price after 8000km because it is very bumpy. However, the kia dealer showed me this car obtained an award. I have no idea how they got the award. I lost 12000 dollars in one year because of this big scam. I have checked the kia's web site for this bumpy problem. Very funny, Kia uses a word "sporty" to cover bumpy problem. More

They worked on it for over 5 hours = $540.00 (ran diagnostics and replaced spark plugs). Said it was fixed. I could tell driving home it wasn't running properly. May 8, 2015: The same thing happened again. Called them and was promised a call back. Never got it. Contacted the Service Mgr. and appointment. made for Monday, May 11, 2015 with promise no charge to run more diagnostics. CSR calls after I spoke with the Service Mgr. and says "Well sometimes working on these vehicles is like dealing with a screaming baby-we need to keep looking and figuring things out". SERIOUSLY? CSR informed me on May 11th that the first hour of diagnostics would be no charge only. Service Mgr. confirmed no charge entirely to run diagnostics. They kept my vehicle for 3 days and never called as promised-I always had to keep checking with them for updates. May 13, 2015: Picked up my Kia. Said they ran diagnostics=all good. Driving home I knew it wasn't running properly. Got home and surprise-damage to my passenger door (either keyed or scraped) compliments of Kia South. Took pix and emailed Service Mgr. and his superior-have never heard back. May 28, 2015: It happened again. Took it to a private mechanic. Just by describing what was going on he knew it was the Cam Sensor. Replaced it and my vehicle is running like it used to. Great news though-Kia South wrecked my battery-while running all these diagnostics they drained the battery, left the charger on too long and now there is battery acid coming out. So extra $240.00 to someone who THANKFULLY fixed my vehicle plus the cost of a new battery. Thank you Kia South for NOTHING! Not even wanting to rate my experience because there needs to be a negative star option! More
bad service from start to finish bought a car there 3 years ago and at the time of buying was asked to sign off on an inspection report that was never done. Also I was never provided bought a car there 3 years ago and at the time of buying was asked to sign off on an inspection report that was never done. Also I was never provided with a second set of keys. Went back about 6 months ago to take the car in for a recall and mentioned I still didn't have a second set of keys and if I could get one cut and they told me it would cost me $300. The over all vibe in this place was shady and I would not recommend buying a vehicle from here More
Couldn't be bothered to tell me about my cracked drive belt I recently had my car in for a service #3, which I paid over 300$ for, and apparently the mechanic found that my drive belt was cracked, to the point I recently had my car in for a service #3, which I paid over 300$ for, and apparently the mechanic found that my drive belt was cracked, to the point that he checked it off as red- meaning "requires immediate attention". When calling to inform me that my car was done, the service adviser said nothing of this to me, simply that my car was ready and to call if I had any questions. It was only the next week when I thoroughly read through the paperwork, I found out about the cracked belt... at the back of 4 other pages of paper work. unfortunately this was the saturday evening before a 1200km road trip, and I felt I had to rent a car for my own safety, since I would be travelling alone and driving through several mountain passes with no cell service or proper shoulders on the road. If they could have bothered to tell me about the problem... or simply written the information on the front sheet of paper, I would have been able to deal with this problem the week before my trip. When I contacted the service department to ask them why I hadn't been informed, the adviser was very rude to me, and insisted that I should have kept driving my car until my next oil change. I asked several times to speak to the mechanic that actually looked at the belt, but never got a call back. I left both emails and voice messages with the Service Manager, and never got any response. When I got back from my trip and called another dealership, they were shocked that anyone would have 1) not told me about something that was checked off as red and 2) they would have told me to just keep driving it for several thousand kms. I think this dealership could benefit from some service advisers that actually have some mechanical knowledge, or at least instructing the existing ones to defer to someone qualified when they have no idea what they're talking about, instead of B.S.ing their way through it and putting the customer at risk. I will never be taking my car back to this dealership, not even for my free oil changes. P.S. The dealer that did end up doing the work for me was actually several hundred $ cheaper than southtown, only another reason I'll never go back. More

The agreement over the phone was made and the finance manager told us that the bill of sale was to be signed when the vehicle was arrived to Fort mcmurray . Once arrived the price was $7,000 more than agreed . I'm not even exaggerating . We Declined warranty over the phone and were never told about any additional costs what so ever . They added 7 grand worth of un-useful package coverages that we NEVER were told about or agreed to . on top of that , the car did not come with a manual or spare key ? .... What kind of dealership does not provide a spare key? Those keyless starters cost about 500 bucks . Over the phone we continuously mentioned the price we were agreeing to pay and these Rediculous finance managers kept lying over and over . Avoid at all costs they just want to rip you off . More
crooks in nice clothes my girlfriend and me went in and made verbal agreements which werent stuck to with victor. agreed on a price for my vehicle which went up by 7000 when my girlfriend and me went in and made verbal agreements which werent stuck to with victor. agreed on a price for my vehicle which went up by 7000 when we got to signing the papers without acknowledging to me. Didnt do anything to help us understand the situation of what was going on. Left with a pump and dump feeling. but i got a nice vehicle in the end so oh well. These people need to realize people arent just dollar signs and show some integrity and honesty, not represent the typical sleeze car salesmen. Also sold a vehicle with no car manual or spare key, called and asked afterwards and got the buzz off vibe of, yeah yeah ill look into that, and of course never heard from again. Not to mention a rust area that i said i would only buy the vehicle if it was taken care of. He went out and put non matching touch up paint on it!! i would reccomend heading down the road instead More

I took it in on Jan 17-15 to have their guy (who only comes in once a month) to look at it. I was there 2 hrs and finally went to see if they had fixed it. The girl told me it was the wrong battery and they replaced it. Now knowing that I should have tested it before I left, which I didn't. Reason I thought they had fixed the fob. Anyhow the car was running, so I didn't test to see if it worked. Went home and then decided to go out that night and tried the fob, nothing happened. So now i have to go and waste another Sat because they didn't fix it the first time. I have had other issues with them. My temp gauge in my car drops and they continue to tell me that this is normal. I know it is not but they don't seem to care about fixing the problem or finding out what is causing the temp gauge to drop. I would never recommend this company or dealership to anyone I know. More
