At any rate, Trevor the Sales manager made an exemplary effort in turning this situation around and going above and beyond expectations. When poor customer service is experienced, the resolution is as much about effort as it is about resolution but Galt Chrysler achieved both. I purchased a 2007 Honda Odyssey here and although the initial experience was okay, my follow up interactions caused me to rate them poorly. The van we bought was advertised as an 8 seater with the smaller jumpseat folded up in the back. The van met our expectations until we finally needed the 8th seat (for inlaws) a few months after purchase. As we latched in place and unfolded the seat we realized the lower seat cushion was missing. I called the dealership to see if they might by chance still have it around or be able to contact the folks who traded it in to see if the seat was still around. For some reason the salesman (Alex) chose to insist that the seat was complete when they sold the van and i must have misplaced the seat. I assured him that it was actually impossible to have the seat folded the way it was and have the seat bottom actually latched in (information i wish i had when i purchased). I called back a couple time and also left messages for Alex and the sales manager but haven't gotten a call back. All i was looking for was acknowledging the error and maybe the slightest of effort in sourcing a new seat cover (maybe slitting the cost 50/50 or something). Not the worst dealership but integrity is off the mark. More
