OMG.....the Lame leading the Blind. I made an appointment to buy winter tires and have them installed. I was told to bring my car in at 9:30 AM and that this relatively simple task woul I made an appointment to buy winter tires and have them installed. I was told to bring my car in at 9:30 AM and that this relatively simple task would be accomplished by no later than 12:30. I called at 12:15 to check on the progress. The woman on the phone said she would check with the service department and call me back. No call back. I returned to the dealership at 2:00....still not done. When the job was finally done at 3:00, my invoice read another $1000 over the price I was quoted! That issue finally got resolved and 6 hours later I was on my way. The service department seemed entirely chaotic, disorganized, understaffed, incompetent and unfriendly.....someone forgot to put the "serve" into "service"!!!! My experience with the dealership where I bought my Jeep (Jim Pattison Surrey) was the complete antithesis of what I experienced with the "dog and pony show" that is Destination Chrysler. I assure you that this will never be my destination again. I will drive the extra 45 minutes and have my vehicle serviced at Jim Pattison!! More

He was Very Nice and Friendly, and showed us the inventory they had on hand. we went for a couple of test drives and made the decision to purchase the Jeep. Terrible service, better said NO service I brought my car in for a recall, they told me they would call between 2 and 3. Do not buy one of their cars because then you are married to his horrible service department. They seem good at selling cars......you are warned. More

Waterman Jr. This book studied very successful companies around the world at the time and found that these companies had at their cores the fundamental culture that recognized that empowering their people to provide exceptional customer service was a business differentiator that was so powerful, that it gave them a competitive advantage and thus made them more profitable over time. I have experienced this recently with Destination Chrysler. While I am certain that none of you would have even heard of this book, your service ethic would qualify. On August 25th, my wife and I purchased a pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from the dealership. The next day, we loaded up the family and drove to Seattle for our son’s soccer tournament. During that trip, I noticed a few things that I felt needed attention so I communicated them to both the Pre-owned Sales Manager, Mr. Marc Duguay and the Service Manager, Mr. Robert Stonehouse. The items included, vibration on heavy braking, a slight pull to the right, signal light not working, oil change due when we thought all fluids had been checked and a few other items. I was asked to bring the vehicle back in at my convenience so that the items could be looked at and dealt with. I was given a brand new vehicle to drive while my vehicle was being looked at. A few days later, the service department called me to tell me what they had found, and what they had done about issues found. The vehicle was found to be slightly out of alignment so this was fixed but that is not all. New tires were installed because the dealership felt that the tires had uneven wear and they wanted to correct the tire situation as well. The vibration on braking was found to be fault of warped rotors so all pads and rotors were replaced. The oil change was also done, but they didn’t stop there. All fluids were checked and replaced including the cooling system and the cooling system was double checked to make sure it was right and there were no leaks. All of this was done and I was not charged. The dealership via the people mentioned took it upon themselves to make our purchase experience with them “excellent”. So what will be the result; plainly, a loyal customer, but more than that. Way more. My wife and I have already begun telling people about our experience. My father in law, who owns a Dodge Ram 1500 who has never been to the dealership is now booked in for service. On behalf of my wife Jo-Anne and I, and also our two children, I would like to thank Marc and Rob for this incredibly “excellent” experience. Very well done gentlemen. More
