Positive visit with my daughter to purchase her first car. This was my first visit to any Hyundai location. Through interaction with Quaison of the operations department, we met General manager-Sandy, who was This was my first visit to any Hyundai location. Through interaction with Quaison of the operations department, we met General manager-Sandy, who was very knowledgeable about the cars on her lot, confidently giving us history, characteristics and prices with no pressure. She was a good listener and once she understood what we were looking for, readily identified the cars on the lot that may meet our criterion. She then directed one of her staff-Paul who did the showings and took us on the test drives. The staff there worked like a well-oiled machine. Needless to say we bought a great car within our budget. It was an awesome experience brought about by the boss-lady who set a great example for her mostly-male staff to follow. More

When I arrived for my test drive, I was greeted immediately from Cezar who had the car ready for the ride. Cezar was very welcoming and made my fee comfortable. During the test drive he explained and showed me all the newest features of the 2019 Santa Fe. Throughout the purchasing process he was very responsive and patient. Upon making the decision to buy the car Cezar made sure the financing manager, David was ready with all the details. Financing was extremely smooth and I was able to pickup the care within days of completing the paperwork. Overall I would highly recommend this dealership. More

Worst and disrespectful Hyundai Dealer I have ever met Today we travelled from Bowmanville to Downtown Toronto Hyundai ,on the commitment from one of the managers of Hyundai Downtown. We took the test driv Today we travelled from Bowmanville to Downtown Toronto Hyundai ,on the commitment from one of the managers of Hyundai Downtown. We took the test drive of the vehicle which we were suppose to buy and we paid $500 ad security deposit ,waited around 5 hours for the signing of the documents. After we finished the signing we asked the delivery date for the car which we have already seen but to our surprise the car was sold to somebody else. Then we ask can we get that same car and the reply was “WE CAN CONFIRM IT BY MONDAY WHETHER WE CAN OR WE CAN’T”. This kind of attitude from Hyundai towards their custmers are really vey dissapointing. The owner asked and forced us to cancel the deal with disrespectful manner. The owner and staff needs a customer service training. I really suggest that no one should visit Hyndai Downtown Toronto. More
Downtown Hyundai Delivered! I recently purchased a new 2018 Elantra Sport Tech, and could not have had a better experience thanks to Downtown Hyundai, and David Shafir. After a I recently purchased a new 2018 Elantra Sport Tech, and could not have had a better experience thanks to Downtown Hyundai, and David Shafir. After a bit of a rough start at another dealership which ended with me leaving empty handed, I continued my search and was contacted by David. After meeting with David and team at Downtown Hyundai I walked out with the deal I wanted, and only had to wait for confirmation they had found the colour of choice (white). Needless to say they delivered, and given I was shopping for a 2018 Elantra Sport Tech at the end of October, there was the understanding that it was in limited supply and I may not get the colour I wanted (and instead would have to accept whatever other colour they could find out there). A few days later I was back at Downtown Hyundai meeting with David finalizing the paperwork and collecting the keys. David and team provided great service, and a comfortable shopping experience. I would highly recommend Downtown Hyundai, and would ask for David Shafir who offers a comfortable, zero pressure sales experience. I couldn't be happier with my overall time buying my new car, and am loving the new ride...of course. Thanks David and Downtown Hyundai! More

Customers be warned!!! I bought a Hyundai Equus, used, and fell in love with that car and the people at downtown Hyundai. I also purchased a power train warranty right from the get go for piece of mind as the car had a 100k Kms on the dial. Now let’s talk about the service team....not so encouraging. I know there job is very challenging but I believe it is important to treat customers fairly based on the issue on hand. Well forget the first service which cost over $400 and that experience, it was like I am doing them the service I had to call and enquire and follow up to pick up the car, he’ll they did not even know where the car was for over an hour never mind has someone taken it for a joy ride. Wow! Then one day a couple of weeks later the car won’t start. I thought alternator or battery. Boosted the battery Sunday the car worked and then battery charged for some time however leave it for a few hours it would not start again . It was time to take it in. The team was as needed but I got a phone call to my cell phone telling me that the battery tested weak and needs to be changed which is not covered under warranty running me a tab of $610 plus inclusive of the service I asked if it was not the alternator (which would have been covered under the power train warranty). I went to pick the car up and drove it out not realizing that the VSM OFF light was on. Pressed the VSM button on doesn’t work tried all the buttons they all worked except the adaptive cruise control got a small red warning light and it did not work. I turned around and went straight back to the dealership they brought someone from another location who tested the lights and realized that some resets had to be done after the battery was changed however they missed resetting. I pointed out to one SCC Hardware error that was showing and he said that will go away when the Reset is complete. Reset was done, testing completed, SCC hardware error comes up and the same issues remain. Puzzled the technician says I guess you have to bring it in for another check up. So I had to book an appointment to bring it in and have it checked. Wow!!! I did for the following Tuesday that was Friday we were at now. Tuesday came took the car back to them and was told that I had to leave it there for the day in order for them to diagnose the issue. Kept following up with them myself until the end of day when I called and was told that they get could not resolve the issue and it has been escalated to Hightech a division incharge of the high end hyundai. I was told to expect a call within the week. 8 days went by and no call. I drove in to see them. Only the way tech who registered my issue could assist and that I had to wait for him to find out what the update was. 40 minutes later I saw Brandon who I have dealt with previously and knows me that I am not Richard my co-signer on the financing but Patrick who is the person dealing with and driving the car. He spoke to someone and hung up telling me that they know what the issue is but he needs to get warranty approval first since the part they need to replace is very expensive before telling me what the issue is. 6.05 pm I get a txt msg from Richard: part not covered under warranty cost $6000. WHAT? Why wasn’t I called and how convenient there was no one to talk to at this time. I cannot wait to speak to someone about this issue cruise control module is not part of the cars powertrain warranty? And the Vehicle Management system for the car is off and cannot be manually over ridden as the car was initially built and has a button for it and that is not part of the powertrain warranty? Are you guys serious? We went from booking the car for a battery change ND no other lights or warning signals showing at all to returning the car with this MAJOR issue to boot? And you want me to pay for it are you all out of your minds? Can you reason with me please? I am hurting trying to understand wth? More
