David greeted me at the reception and kindly directly Leon to help me. Leon was very patient and repeatedly reassured me that they were doing their best to help me find a suitable vehicle for my needs. He was also very attentive to details and was knowledgeable of the vehicle we test drove. Overall, they were very supportive with the entire purchasing process. They have a great team, and every time I go back for miscellaneous items, they greet me with genuine smiles and excellent service. I highly recommend this dealership. More

David kept in touch and recently a vehicle came in matching all the features we were looking for and David let us know and we went in and test drove the vehicle and we purchased it that day. David was the only sales rep from all the dealerships we visited in the past to follow up consistently (but never pushy) to see if we were still looking. We finally got the vehicle we wanted and we love it. More

I have been given a quote by another Hyundai dealer who was just playing with me. Cezar and Sandy have educated me in purchasing my new vehicle. If other people are too cheap to realize all the hard work everyone at Downtown Hyundai puts into helping customers to buy a car, it is really their loss. I have been to 3 Hyundai dealers and was never treated as good as here! Will definitely recommend. More
CHOOSE ANOTHER DEALERSHIP FOR A BETTER OFFER AND BETTER SERV Please do not waste your time here – not only could they not beat the offer I got from another dealership, but my experience was horrible. I left this Please do not waste your time here – not only could they not beat the offer I got from another dealership, but my experience was horrible. I left this dealership feeling very upset with the treatment I received. For some background info, I’ve been looking for a particular Hyundai vehicle for the last couple of weeks. It’s my first car, so I did my research and followed advice to shop around to ensure that I got the best deal. I attended this dealership after I had gotten an offer from another dealership that I thought was a good deal, but wanted to know if there was better out there. I presented the deal to the salesperson and he asked what it would take to sign that day – I requested a couple additional incentives that I felt would sway me. I just want to make clear that my negative review is specifically related to the treatment I received from manager Malcolm Donaldson and GM Sandy Glover. The salesperson took the offer to the manager, Malcolm - as you know, you are essentially negotiating with the manager. The manager would not beat the deal and there were some back and forth negotiations via the salesperson. When I was told they would not accept my bottom line offer, I was happy to leave with the intention of accepting the offer I was given elsewhere. That is when Malcolm came over to speak to me. WOW… I was taken aback by how aggressive he was being, but he went even further and became rude, condescending and antagonistic. He began raising his voice and exclaiming things like “AREN’T WE ALLOWED TO MAKE MONEY!?? WHY SHOULD WE WANT YOU AS A CUSTOMER!??” This went on for quite awhile. Even worse, it seemed as if he was trying to intimidate me by GLARING at me in silence for 15 secs at a time (I am not exaggerating, it was creepy as xxxx). I felt like I was being reprimanded for something I had done. I was respectful the entire time and said there was no point continuing our discussion if he could not beat the deal. Really, I wanted to end the conversation as I felt uncomfortable with his tone and demeanour, and did not want to be subject to it any longer. He then rudely rolled his eyes and went over to Sandy who was standing in the showroom close by. They were discussing the deal out loud – I could hear their conversation and Sandy was saying “RIDICULOUS! RIDICULOUS!” How incredibly rude and disrespectful as I was obviously within earshot of their conversation which could have easily been had in a private office (unless she intended me to hear it). I was REALLY ready to leave at this point. Malcolm then handed me my ID and said “here you go, have a GRRREAT day” *insert extremely sarcastic tone* and walked off. WOW… not even a thank you for coming by or let us know if you change your mind, etc. Please tell me how being rude to customers could ever be considered an effective sales technique? I was so bothered by the tactics of the manager that I discussed it with the salesperson afterwards and told him how the experience was upsetting, unprofessional and completely unnecessary. There was really no need for the disrespect. The salesperson seemed genuinely sorry for what happened. I received a phone call the next day from a manager named Cezar and I told him what happened. He was apologetic and advised that he would bring it up with Malcolm and Sandy (what good would that do?). I asked him for the owner’s email and he said he could not provide it but that the owner would read a Google Review if I wrote one. WOW … So I guess Downtown Hyundai prefers their negative feedback to be aired in public rather than through private email. Well here it is then. I really hope that the owner reads this as well as reviews on other forums such as Yelp – there are MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS about treatment from managers. The owner needs to take these reviews seriously. Buying a car should be an exciting time, no one should ever have to leave a dealership feeling the way I felt leaving Downtown Hyundai. More
Saleman says: "I can not afford their cars!" I wanted to buy my father a new car since his old Accord was on it's last leg. We were set to buy a new 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT with full Tech package. On the negotiation table, sale rep tacked on a $500 wheels warranty on the worksheet price. I had to haggle him on whether this is optional or mandatory charge. We were only $700 off from my final price when he says; "Look if you can not afford this car, I'll show you cheaper alternative." I was paying CASH and buying a car as a GIFT for someone else! How does he know what I can and can not afford? Why, because I wasn't wearing an italian suit to their dealership? Do your homework before you pist off a 6-figure income white collar worker jack****. I ended up buying the same car @ Westend Hyundai 24 hrs later at MY PRICE. More
