Today I just found they have made waiting for the shuttle bus, that basic service as waking in the maze. that can be a great job from some perspective -- at least less people will ask for that, if not the first time, but at least second. PS. If some men/women spent less time on "flirting" (sorry, I mean talking in a special way), then maybe they can get things done at least not too worse? sorry guys, I won't bother next time (if there is). PLEASE READ AND SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! ***BEFORE WASTING YOUR TIME GIVING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS DEALERSHIP PLEASE READ THIS POST*** I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS if I could! Do not think ***BEFORE WASTING YOUR TIME GIVING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS DEALERSHIP PLEASE READ THIS POST*** I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS if I could! Do not think for one second that they built their cathedral of a dealership by giving you a fair deal or caring in the slightest about your best interest. Here’s why… I came into the dealership serious enough to give them separate days of my time and provide a signature with a credit card for my initial offer on trading in and financing a new vehicle. Upon agreeing to my initial offer in writing, the Assistant New Vehicles Sales Manager IAN FERNANDES attempted to hide an extra $10,000 in his response which was simply "Thank You Deal Ok $455 84 Months $0 Down :)." Yes he even put a smiley face...how professional. The sales rep presented Ian’s offer stating that he had agreed to all of the terms of my offer but simply changed the monthly payment amount. Upon confirmation from the sales rep, I was led to believe that the terms that I submitted to Ian were agreed upon -- This meant that my trade would be valued at $7500 before taxes and all other conditions of my offer were as he put it "Ok" less his $455 monthly payment tweak. Instead, this is where you could say things went south, FAST! After nearly 4 hours and paying for the dealerships terrible cafeteria food, I learned that even though Ian wrote "Deal Ok" and the sales rep stated that he had agreed to my initial offer, in actuality he used tricky language in his response and created an entirely different offer altogether! Car salesmen…go figure. It was ONLY through my own due diligence and education in mathematics that I was able to figure out that Ian only gave $3000 for my trade and hid a $10,000 increase to my initial offer in the "$455" that he conveniently added to his "Deal Ok" response. This poor excuse for an employee, let alone a sales manager, assumed that the average consumer would not realize what he had done with the wording and presentation of his response to my initial offer. He thought he could make me believe that he agreed to my initial offer and that I would not investigate the higher monthly payment amount. Well obviously he assumed wrong! This was an absolute first in my history of dealing with dealerships and an extremely backwards business practice. The worst of it is that Ian could have rectified the situation by providing me an equally clear counter offer to my straightforward initial offer but that unfortunately culminated. He was the very opposite of transparent throughout the entire negotiation process. To top it all off, he NEVER apologized and even attempted to avoid me when I spotted him on the sales floor. Please know that IAN FERNANDES completely broke any trust that I had in this dealership and in Toyota as a brand. My family, friends and clients will no longer deal with this dealership and I suggest very strongly that whomever reads this post do the same. I will be filing a formal complaint with Toyota Corporate and once again I STRONGLY URGE USING EXTREME CAUTION IF OR WHEN DEALING WITH IAN FERNANDES OR A DEALERSHIP THAT WOULD USE THESE TYPES OF INSULTING TACTICS ON POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS! ***CAVEAT EMPTOR*** More

I dropped in for service yesterday about 3 pm, they took my key, left me a slip, I've waited until late 6 pm then popped to ask the status, and they did not even know where my car was. I could understand it could be a missing out conversation with the service department, but still, not acceptable, staff see you through, you are like invisible at all time. My car was purchased there back in 2009 indeed, yet I don't think I got a good deal at all. Just shop others... More
Scammy Sales Tactics! Emailed a question on a vehicle I was wanting to buy. Just a simple question about trim package or model. They wouldn't answer my question! Just insis Emailed a question on a vehicle I was wanting to buy. Just a simple question about trim package or model. They wouldn't answer my question! Just insisted on getting my personal information before they could answer. Amazing! I'm talking about a question about the model - nothing else. Not even price. I was ready to buy it but wouldn't touch it now. After I told them I wasn't giving them my information online they just didn't bother to respond to me at all. Wow! Imagine how they'd be when you go in to buy? In my mind that is not trustworthy. Note: This site reques one to choose on Quality of Work and Price - to be fair, I didn't get that far so ignore those two ratings. The Customer Service, Friendliness and Overall Experience stands. Very poor customer service from Ray and Bob Tasikas The only good customer service I got in my entire experience with Don Valley North Toyota were the people on the phones making an appointment with me. The only good customer service I got in my entire experience with Don Valley North Toyota were the people on the phones making an appointment with me. Ray was completely useless in servicing my Toyota Avalon and Bob Tasikas (manager) was arrogant and impatient with me and my wife. I can't believe Bob can call himself the manager of service when he's providing the worst service her. Not a leader, and definitely not manager material. I will not go back to Don Valley because of him. More
Still Have not receive Refund on Deposit after 8 weeks!! Leased a Yaris in 2010, bring my car back on March 11, 2014 to renew my lease for a brand new Prius C. after negotiation we agree on a lease price a Leased a Yaris in 2010, bring my car back on March 11, 2014 to renew my lease for a brand new Prius C. after negotiation we agree on a lease price and the Sales asks me for a deposit, I gave him $500 cash and ask what if my credit application is declined? he said the money will be refund. I then went upstairs to see the financing manager and get paperwork done. about 3-4 days later the Sales called me and tell me the credit application is declined. I said "Alright, then give me my deposit back" He said since I paid in cash, they will need to cut me a cheque and put in mail, he will process the request and I should get a cheque in 2 weeks. No problem. I waited two weeks, nothing in mail. I called him after 2 weeks told him I have not yet receive any cheque, he said I should wait a bit longer and he will once again talk to the financing manager and request again. Two weeks after, still nothing, I called again, he told me to call the financing manager directly, So I did, left a voice mail, no reply. Another week past, I call their reception and their reception said that financing manager is on vacation and won't be back till May 6, so I ask to talk to somebody else during his absence, they transfer me to another financing manager and I explain the situation. He said he will email accounting department to trace the refund cheque. I also called the sales again and left voice mail, No reply ever since. call back a few days later, no answer. Sent an email to the sales person and financing manager, No reply. Finally I called and ask to speak with their accounting department, left a message, then someone from accounting dept called back an hour later, apologize to me, people in their dept have been taking vacation, and said will put in a rush cheque request on the same day and will call me as soon as the cheque is signed by their manager (so after 7 weeks of calling and waiting nothing has been done till I call??) Another week passed, call their accounting department for a follow up and how long does it take for a manager to put a signature on a cheque? talked to their accounting dept, the girl at accounting dept over the phone took my name, phone # and deal and I ask them to call me back, no one calls back. Today (May 14), I call them again, tell the accounting dept the same story over again, and she said the account payable is having a day off. left my name and phone # again. still no answer and no reply. Sick and tired of this wait game and same excuse of "vacation / day off" . went online and get a phone # of OMVIC and file a official compliant. Ironically, this dealership has declined my credit application on March 11, but Toyota financing sent me a Pre-Approved letter on April 25 for a car. More
I wish I had read the bad reviews before I wasted my time at Don Valley North. After a lot of negotiating with the salesman, Mr. Chan (Sales Manager) put high-pressure sales tactics on me, talking down to m at Don Valley North.
