Should confirm your service appointment before you go I had an appointment this morning for recall service 60C113(R0127) - "Vehicles may exhibit an issue with the control of levels of Oxides of Nitrogen i I had an appointment this morning for recall service 60C113(R0127) - "Vehicles may exhibit an issue with the control of levels of Oxides of Nitrogen in their exhaust exceeding allowable limits". When I arrived, the service rep told me that my appointment was cancelled and that Hyundai would issue another recall in 2 weeks to replace the one that I have. The service reps did not inform me of the cancellation in any way, despite scheduling an appointment for this recall service, meaning I wasted time and gasoline for no reason! They should have contacted me beforehand to notify me of the cancellation, instead of me showing up only to get turned away the day of. As a result, I had to re-plan my day and reschedule many things. What kind of customer service is this? No communication whatsoever! More

Poor customer service I have 3 Hyundai's, they treat you like royalty when you are there to purchase but watch out when you are ready to buy out your lease. It's not Hyundai's fee it's strictly the dealerships. The guy I had to speak to speaks down to woman, disgusted. I'm done with this place & their product. More

Poor service poor quality Disclaimer, this is not my 1st Hyundai purchase, however this was my 1st experience with Don Valley North Hyundai. I bought a used 2016 Elantra from Disclaimer, this is not my 1st Hyundai purchase, however this was my 1st experience with Don Valley North Hyundai. I bought a used 2016 Elantra from this dealership in March of 2016, to which I soon found and was sold a lemon. After a couple of weeks of driving, the tire pressure was low, the heat shield vibrated loudly, and worst of all -> the breaks felt very soft (sponge-like) weak. I took the car into the dealership, and found that they didn’t believe me. They said they looked of the car before the sale, and again when I took it in to be looked at. They said everything was ok. After insisting that they look at the car again, they took it for a test drive and confirmed my fears. The brakes were shot, the heat shield vibrated a lot, and the tires were indeed low. Geez, you would think they would have checked all of this before selling me a car. To which I was told during the bill of sale period, that the car was solid, with new brakes. Straight Lie. I again had an issue with the trunk releasing by itself. I didn’t know what was going on. I took it and found out that they didn’t believe me - again. They said there was no issue and sent me packing. I took the car to another dealership and they found the issue with the trunk release and they corrected the problem. Guess what, no more issues with the trunk releasing itself! You can imagine how scary this is, whether it be on the road, or in my driveway. Today - it is currently the middle of winter, and on a cold start I hear a vibration coming from the location of where the heat shield is located. I said not again, so I called the service department and took it in. (I also had an issue with the tire pressure, and asked if they could take a look at that too while I was there.) After 90 mins of my pre-booked appointment, they told me there was nothing wrong with the heat shield, and they noticed a minor issue with the tire pressure and was about to send me packing again. I said no, and looked at my tire and it looked like they didn’t do anything with the tire itself. I said look again, and the service rep realized I had caught him in an obvious lie. Still waiting on my call, however I’ll tell you this now. I will never use their service department again, nor buy a car from this dealership again. Masamune More

Without a doubt the worst service department ever This is undoubtedly the worst service department in the automotive world. We purchased a 2015 Tuscon last year. Less than one week after purchasing it This is undoubtedly the worst service department in the automotive world. We purchased a 2015 Tuscon last year. Less than one week after purchasing it, we noticed a piece had come off the roof rack. My wife went to the dealership to get the piece replaced and was told she would have to buy the part for $52.00. She told the service rep that she should not have to pay for this since the car was so new. She said it probably wasn't put on properly and may have come off in the car wash. The service rep told her there is no way for that to happen and that people are stealing these pieces all the time. She was so upset that she just paid and ordered the part. But then went to the car wash and sure enough they had the piece. We went to the service manager Cato who was a nice guy and refunded our money and had one of the guys put the piece back on. For regular maintenance they have no idea what an appointment is. I have scheduled oil changes only to arrive and have to wait to speak to our designated service advisor. This is nuts!! I have had to wait up to 20 minutes just to give the advisor the keys. What is the purpose of scheduling an appointment? My biggest beef with them is their lack of communication. We have had to wait on replacement parts on 2 separate occasions and the wait is unbelievable. Despite leaving repeated messages for our service advisor who's voice mail says he'll get back to me by the end of the day, we do not get a return call. There is a sign in their department that says "Customer Service Is Not A Department, It's An Attitude" I'm afraid they severely miss the mark. More
