My Sale rep Dan Feldman was outstanding and really new his stuff. My only problem with this dealership came at the end when it was time to pick-up the vehicle and sign the papers. I was lied to and forced his stuff. My only problem with this dealership came at the end when it was time to pick-up the vehicle and sign the papers. I was lied to and forced to buy an extended warranty. I had made it clear I didn't want to buy it. I was basically threaten to buy it because I had originally been tricked into initialling beside a warranty I was thinking about buying on the preliminary vehicle purchase agreement but I was told I had till the day I picked up the vehicle to decide against it. After doing some research I opted not to buy it anymore but I was lied to about it being to late and having signed a legal document. After consulting with OMVIC and the BBB It was at this point I was told I did not have to buy that warranty. It was not to late to have changed my mind and that I was tricked and lied to into buying it in order for the Finance rep (Adam Sylvester) to either meet his quotas or get his commission pay, off the sale of the warranty. This was the 3rd vehicle my family had bought from this dealership with in 3 years (Dodge 1500, Dodge Caravan and Jeep wrangler) and for me personally it will probably be my last over a $1500 warranty. More
We bought our first brand new Dodge Grand Caravan in May 2012. This being our first new vehicle, Ian has been incredible and very helpful when ever I call. Recently I brought in our van because of a rattling should from the rear that we could not identify. Ian and service tech. (I did not get his name), were trying to figure out what the sound is and where it was coming from. After several hours, and practically taking apart our van, they could not determine what it was. They even brought me in another van similar to mine to compare the sounds, and prove that it may be a framing problem with no fix. Although I am disappointed that the sound is still there and is annoying, (not sure if I will settle knowing there is no fix as this is a brand new vehicle), I was very satisfied with the service as they tired to fix a problem that is beyond them. I am beyond pleased with the service at Dilawri Jeep Dodge Chrysler. This is a crazy busy time for me and I am thrilled that the staff has been able to get me into a new vehicle so quickly. I bought my Dodge Chrysler. This is a crazy busy time for me and I am thrilled that the staff has been able to get me into a new vehicle so quickly. I bought my last vehicle from this dealership and while I'm sad to see her go, I'm excited to get into my new Grand Caravan. This has been the easiest, most stress-free car buying experience I've ever had. Mike Thomas actually listened to my "wants" in a vehicle and without putting pressure on me, guided me in the right direction. He returned my phonecalls promptly to answer my follow-up question and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. He should get a raise! LOL Robert Wallace handled the financial aspects and I don't know what he did but he worked some magic and got me a great deal...well under what I was expecting/able to pay. He got me into a brand new vehicle for less than I was expecting to pay for a used one, including taking my old vehicle and the outstanding balance with it. Like I said, he worked some real magic for this single, self-employed mother with a less than stellar credit rating. He should get a raise, too! :) I can't thank the staff enough, Mike and Rob in particular. I think everyone should go to Dilawri. And those of you who may be considered higher risk due to self-employment, or bruised credit, or perhaps lower income...definitely go to Dilawri first. They really can get you into a great vehicle at a fair price. I'm so happy! More
I have been a long time customer of Dilawri, this is my fourth pick up truck that I have purchased from them. I had always had great dealings with the sales staff particularly by Mike Thomas and will alway fourth pick up truck that I have purchased from them. I had always had great dealings with the sales staff particularly by Mike Thomas and will always return to purchase my vehicles from Dilawri as long as Mike Thomas is my sales agent. However, service has always been a thorn in my side because the service advisors have been horrible in the past. However, since Ian Woodcock has joined Dilawri the service that I have received from him has been the best since I became a Dilawri customer. He is polite, professional and treats the customer with respect. Ian goes above and beyond to call you and give you updates on your vehicle and also keeps you informed if any other work should be performed while your car is in for routine maintenance. Dilawri you are on the right track with adding Ian to your team....now if you can continue to clean house at the service advisor desk I believe you will have one of the best service departments in Ottawa.
