When I bou see it twice I'm sorry. I have just recently purchased a brand new 2014 dodge ram 1500 Laramie it's is a great truck and very comfortable. When I bought the truck I had ask for one specific feature and was told it had it, I just learned it didn't so I contacted them. Wayne was very kind and helpful, he has made sure that they will put the feature in at no cost to me to make sure I got the truck I came there for. This was my first brand new vehicle and I am very greatfull to Derrick dodge and the employees for being kind and understanding it has made this first experience a great one. Old fashioned respect is something you don't find now a days and they defiantly have it so once again thank you . Katie L More
Worst service EVER! Freddy the salesperson seemed inexperienced, but we all can forgive that. Gotta start somewhere...Freddy good luck...quit...Get employment somewhere else. The Manager obviously inexperienced, but we all can forgive that. Gotta start somewhere...Freddy good luck...quit...Get employment somewhere else. The Manager obviously has no need to be respectful of customer's time/gas/ money. He wanted my money..That's it. I was scheduled for a test drive. Got off the phone with the manager at 11:00 am. I was wanting to know why a 2011 Dodge Sport with 88,000km could be going for $27,000 or more. Yup it was loaded with great options but clearly had been driven hard for two or three years. The manager knew I was coming down to Derrick Dodge in Edmonton within a couple of hours. I was scheduled to test drive at 2:00pm. Saturday. I showed up at 1:00 pm. No courtesy call given to NOT come...the truck sold. No courtesy call...... What? Are customer relations and simple respect and decency a thing of the past? How about a head's up to put a retainer down? They did offer me to test drive the vehicle over that weekend. I was originally there on the Thursday evening before. I decided not to take the vehicle for the weekend because the area of town I work at is sketchy and I did not want anything happening to THEIR vehicle that was in MY care..... I thought about them....They obviously, as I discovered had no such consideration for me. I decided to go back and test drive on the Saturday. I informed them I would be there by 2:00 or 3:00pm. I showed up at 1:00pm. That was when I was told the truck sold. Such a young manager and such POOR consideration of customer time/gas/energy. He spoke to me over the phone at 11:00 am THAT morning. He KNEW I was coming! Rude, rude, rude. I was NOT WORTH A COURTESY CALL??? ... Or at least a head's up that the truck may be sold...I would rather set myself on fire than go to a place that has absolutely no respect for the buyer. When I told of my experience to 3 other dealerships in Edmonton they "WERE NOT SURPRISED." Seriously??...Learn some manners Derrick Dodge manager! You took my contact information for a reason... Your own reasons. Don Wheaton's in St. Albert here I come! You guys are respectful...You phone me at home...You are looking for a truck for me that suits my needs...You have manners... YOU HAVE AND DESERVE MY BUSINESS. Clearly you deserve my money, too. See you soon. More

We brought in our truck for a recall, as well as to get the oil changed. The recall was for a reprogramming of one of the vehicle systems. Over the phone, we were told this would be 2 hours. Once we got the oil changed. The recall was for a reprogramming of one of the vehicle systems. Over the phone, we were told this would be 2 hours. Once we got there, we were ignored, then told it would be days (to reprogram something?). We asked about the oil change pricing, and were advised it was $39.99....which is fine, except that they forgot to include the cost of labour, so it was actually around $60. I would think it is obvious that I want the total cost. We brought up that it was only $79.99 for the "Hemi Peace of Mind Service" which included a tire rotation and other checks, and they refused to do the additional work for the difference in price, stating that they didn't have time. We will not return. More

I have purchased my 2013 Dodge Caravan at Derrick Dodge (at the end of 2012). Sales experience: OK. The sales person was really pushy and tried to get as much $$$ out of our pocket as possible. When fin (at the end of 2012). Sales experience: OK. The sales person was really pushy and tried to get as much $$$ out of our pocket as possible. When finally we picked the vehicle that we wanted to purchase (out of 3 potential equally priced options) suddenly the price of the chosen vehicle went up by $2000. This wasn't fair. New vehicle pickup: very disappointingly they deliver vehicles in a dark spot of their yard, not much to see as it was 5PM already, dark and freezing cold. Later we discovered that we received the vehicle with a scratch on the left door. Apparently we had to 'eat' this. Service: We also had to note that they delivered the minivan with a faulty radio. There is an ugly visual defect on the factory installed equipment. In daylight, especially in sunny conditions you can see the complete interior of the radio panels through the LCD window. This means you see the green main board as the manufacturer forgot to install shielding behind the LCD. We find this an annoying aesthetic issue, hazardous as well as you have to take off you attention from the road for fairly long time to figure what numbers you actually have on the LCD (it's not only info of the radio channel but the vehicle has the clock built here too). When we reported the issue to the service first they gave us an appointment to inspect the radio. 3 service personnel (including the service manager) inspected our radio and compared it to other radios they had on stock, and in showroom vehicles. They recognized and admitted the problem with the radio and promised to order a replacement model from Chrysler. A week later when we got back to our next appointment to have our radio replaced they told us that replacement is going to cost us about $1000. There was no other option. Customer service: Terrible. Let me quote the response that we got on this issue from the service manager: 'For that radio this is deemed not a defect but is the how it is built, unfortunately there is no correction for being able to see printed circuit board. There will be not warrantable repair or upgrade allowance provided to correct this concern.' Honestly, I would never buy a Dodge again, and certainly not at Derrick Dodge by all means. More

I did not purchase the vehicle from them, but they treat me well. I am still having an intermittent problem with my vehicle, but they have not dismissed me like the other dealer did. I will continue to take the vehicle to them until the problem is resolved. I am sure they will come to some sort of conclusion. Even though I probably would never buy another Dodge/Chrysler vehicle, that has more to do with Chrysler Canada than the dealer. If you're heart is set on a Dodge or Chrysler, you're only stop needs to be Derrick Dodge!! More
You can be sure of at least one thing if you buy a used car from Derrick Dodge -- you paid too much! Their used vehicle mark up is substantial and they are prepared to wait for someone who will pay much more than the vehicle is worth, as opposed to actually doing what they are constantly saying to you: "We want your business." Unless you simply must have the vehicle, you can surely get it for less elsewhere. More
