Patience and kindness! After our bad experience with Leduc Chrysler, I answered and ad for Derrick Dodge and Al Dewan invited us up to their location and check out their s After our bad experience with Leduc Chrysler, I answered and ad for Derrick Dodge and Al Dewan invited us up to their location and check out their specials. We were met at the front door by the manager, Wayne, who had a great smile and a friendly hello. I knew right there that there was something special about him. He then showed us the way to Al. I was not used to his selling approach because they usually push but Al made things as relaxing as if we were sitting in his living room. We talked about different cars and what we were looking for in which we really had no idea. Al seemed like he gave us endless options and the pros and cons. We settled on the Jeep Cherokee and took it for a test drive, an actual test drive around the city. Meanwhile Al was explaining a lot of the extra features of the car. Now it seems funny that it didn't seem like he was selling a car, it was more like an informed tour guide. Before we got to home base my husband and I decided this was the one we wanted. There were 3 colors to choose from so we picked the true blue, loved the color. Now Al wasn't finished with us yet, he took the time to once again go through all the features, all the warranties and everything to do with maintenence. Once we were satisfied, Al took us up to the manager and introduced us and then he took us to the financing department. Another gentlemen with lots of patience. Went through all the packages that were offered and got our financing. Everything in place. Meanwhile Al stuck around as he wanted to go over all the instructions for the car, spent about an hour, making sure I got it which was really nice and took my confusion away. It was nice because there was absolutely no pressure from anyone at Derrick Dodge, we were so very grateful. And to Al, we do tell everyone that you are the number 1 salesman to see and for everyone to go to Derrick Dodge. All in all an awesome buying experience, the way it should be. They all made us feel like family! And we are keeping the bragging rights. Thank you Al Dewan and Derrick Dodge. More
Just another nice buying experience We upgraded out RAM 1500 SLT with a 2017 RAM 1500 Bighorn edition. Our sales person Brianna Ware did a wonderful job. My wife loves the new truck and We upgraded out RAM 1500 SLT with a 2017 RAM 1500 Bighorn edition. Our sales person Brianna Ware did a wonderful job. My wife loves the new truck and can't get enough of it. 0% interest and 1 year XM radio are other things to mention if you browsing for a new vehicle. More

The sales young lady Brianna was amazing hard working girl from day first she was very helpful she tried everything to get me to the truck I wanted even though I couldn't get fully loaded sport even when my credit and my budget was ok .And at the financing part Barry is a smart guy with an incredible abilities to get you approved and got me the lowest interest I ever got so I would like to thank him too.I would like to thank breanna for the great effort hard work up and down all over the place she is a five star girl she should run the whole place thanks again. CLASSIC CLICHE GREASY DISHONEST CAR SALES TACTICS I was in desperate need of replacing my car in a hurry so that I could continue to get back to work. Right from the start, I was treated like a number I was in desperate need of replacing my car in a hurry so that I could continue to get back to work. Right from the start, I was treated like a number. I had a budget of $30,000 and it felt as if they had zero respect for the fact that $30,000 is a lot of money to an individual who has a modest income, mortgage and other bills. Anyways, I desperately needed a 4x4 car and wanted something reliable within a few days, unfortunately didn't have time to shop around too much. When listing what I wanted in a car, I was almost forced into a 2014 jeep Cherokee and given just about no other options. It was Christmas and you could see the sales guys running around just trying to close sales, nothing was personal or honest, just a front of fake smiles and handshakes and hurrying you around. Absolutely horrible customer service. I figured, okay whatever, I'll buy a car and get rid of it in a year or two. My gut felt uncomfortable as I sat with this greasy finance guy as he rushed over the terms of my contract. They got mad at me when I said I was going to take a day or two to think about it and see if it makes sense for my finances. Absolutely ridiculous. After almost fighting that I wanted to take a day to think about it, they finally "allowed" me, as if they were the deciders of me or something. After looking over the finances myself with a fine tooth comb, I'll say it was an average car deal financially and I wasn't getting ripped off, but definitely not getting a great deal. In the end I regrettably decided to take the car, as I was in a tight situation, and needed one the next day to go start my work shift up north. The car ran fine for a year (40,000 km) then just 3000 km after the $1800 extended warenty expired, the transmission blew. Currently trying to deal with them to get it fixed as the recall on the transmission should cover the cost of the issue, however it's an absolute nightmare dealing with their service department. No one has any genuine interest in serving you once you're not spending money and they try at all costs to avoid holding up their end of the deal with warranty coverage and recalls. It was the greasiest most cliche used car buying experience I could imagine. The only satisfaction I have is when they call me up to try and get me to buy another car, and I lead them on for a week or so before saying no. Maybe that's rude of me, however, I'm currently stuck with a $30,000 car that doesn't not work, that I still have payments on. Transmissions should not blow on a car at 100,000 km, and they just don't care. Never again giving them my money. More
Went in on a Sunday drive. Came into dealership on a Sunday after seeing a 2016 tahoe they had on lot. Even stayed a few minutes late to make sure we were all good. I have heard good things about Derrick dodge and these guys proved right. Thanks again Kyle/Jim. Who would of thought you could be driving home a new vehicle on a Sunday. More
