Service ok but having issues with new tuscon heating goes down while driving let's see how they fix or change. I rather want to change as its new. Their service department is always helpful and sales down while driving let's see how they fix or change. I rather want to change as its new. Their service department is always helpful and sales team worked really hard to find vehicle I guess Hyundai faulty part can happen to any car hoping it fix soon. But I like that they are providing me rental car until it gets fix. More
One of the worst Sales Team i have ever dealt with in my whole life, this dealership is spoiling the name of Kaizen Group for sure. We Bought a 2022 Hyundai Pallisade Luxury from them back in October 2021 a whole life, this dealership is spoiling the name of Kaizen Group for sure. We Bought a 2022 Hyundai Pallisade Luxury from them back in October 2021 and got the delivery on 12th Feb 2022. Deal was negotiated in October and it was just a matter of completing the financing paper work on 12th Feb. Please avoid this dealership there are a lot of other good dealership who care for their customer and don't cheat. Following was the deal negotiated in October. 1) Sale Price was negotiated as Amount A and they asked for Amount X in advance which brought down the Sale Price on Bill of Sale to Amount C. 2) The Dealership was going to buyout my 2018 Leased Nissan Murano and agreed to buy the vehicle for 26K. Lease payout for my Nissan Murano on Feb 13 was 22415. Difference of 26K - 22.4k would be deducted from Hyundai Pallisade Sale Price of Amount C. As the nissan murano was leased i would not get GST credit and would have to pay for it which would be extra 1300$ which i agreed to. 3) On 13th feb when i went to the dealership and met the finance manager they were not ready to honor the SP which was mentioned on my Bill of Sale ( Amount C) and were charging me extra 2000 $ in addition to the 1300 $. Finance Manager called the Sales Manager multiple times and nothing materialized. We all know currently the market is really hot for new / used car and specially for hyundai pallisade, the sales manager clearly told me that they would be ok if i didnt take the delivery of this vehicle, obviously they have an upperhand in this market and can sell this car for a lot more and are ok with me not buying it. I had a newborn who was born in december and needed this car badly as it was an 8 seater, I was left with no option other than giving up on their terms. Please stay away from Country Hills Hyundai for your own good, their sales team is one of the worst. More
My friends 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe had a recall on the motor for major internal problems. This is bad enough for the company to have bad engines, but because of a minor front end collision the engine repl motor for major internal problems. This is bad enough for the company to have bad engines, but because of a minor front end collision the engine replacement is being denied. I have owned 2 new Hyundais on the past and was looking at a third, but when they don’t honour their warranty’s why would anyone want one. Stay away from them!!!! More
Unfortunately CHH is very hit and miss, between sales and service. Sales can be very pushy, and have consistently sent messages and call me about buying my 2019 after telling them I’m not interested in sell service. Sales can be very pushy, and have consistently sent messages and call me about buying my 2019 after telling them I’m not interested in selling, and I will come in I’m when ready. However on the other hand I’ve had such rewarding experiences with the sales team such as Eve, and Issac. Service…it’s where I have very mixed opinions. Over the past 6 months I have been in and out, on one occasion in 3 weeks alone I was there FOR THE SAME issue 4 times, once even 12 hours after I left the pervious appointment. The shuttle driver questioned me the one day she picked me up as to why I was in so much…….. Preet (my service advisor) is exceptional, and has been very good about resolving the issue to a point. Even asking me earlier this week when I was in for an unrelated appointment how its been doing since (mid October). Since I had a couple related questions about it, I thought I would chat with him, his response to one was, “they will look into replacing the deteriorating parts when it gets worse”. My frustration here is my cars under warranty, all the work has been done by the CHH team, so why is this the solution!? why not fix it before it get to the point where it does more bad than good. Now onto where it gets real bad….Unfortunately wait times when your car is in service is completely unreasonable…. be sure to have patience to wait most, if not all day. For a pre booked appointment for tire swap out I was quoted 60 to 90 mins when I booked the appointment in person with Preet. 2 days later I came in for said appointment, asked how long it would be when I check in with Ashley and she I promised a 90 mins turn around, in turn I decided I would wait in the dealership instead of heading home in the shuttle. At the 2 hours mark I asked when my car would be done, as I had another appointment to get to and was told “it’s Almost done”, yet the text message check the status of your vehicle still said “checked in”. My car also is connected to my phone and every time it gets turned on it tells me (I received one of these notifications when I first arrived because they moved it from the service bay to the back lot until it went in) about 5 mins after I asked for an update I got a notification my car was being moved, and the status magically changed to “being worked on” Finally my car was done at 2 hours and 45 min… this is just one occasion of a promised wait time, where having to call or check in is the only way you will get an update or the work be completed. I feel as I’m being generous with 3/5 stars, it would be worse if I took into consideration the last year……The saving grace is the staff Preet, Eve and Issac, who generally have wonderful customer service. Unprofessional. Booked online, when I came, they turned me away because of website glitches and they have “no control of their website”. The service agent told me to come the next day. I called just to mak me away because of website glitches and they have “no control of their website”. The service agent told me to come the next day. I called just to make sure and they told me they’re fully booked. I explained the situation and then they could take me but it’s a hour and 1/2 wait. No apologies. No discount. Just “take it or leave it” approach. I live about 20 min away from the dealer so I drove all there for nothing. Will not come back More
I am often called from a sales person despite asking for my name to be taken off of the sales call list. Someone inevitably calls and tries to sell me a story about them really needing my vehicle and wantin my name to be taken off of the sales call list. Someone inevitably calls and tries to sell me a story about them really needing my vehicle and wanting to get me to trade it in for a newer vehicle and that they will take my loan off the car. This is a bunch of sales speak. I am a financial professional and what I can tell you is that they are using this tactic to sell you a newer car so that you will owe more on your overall loan. You get to take on a larger loan and they get to make profits off of you twice and off of your older vehicle twice. They will also talk about the market being 30% down and so on. This is not true. I work in market analysis daily in my profession. I find them unprofessional in other ways as well. When I came in with my husband the first time I was called about one of these sales I went out of curiosity to see how much they would lie to me. They treated me like I was stupid, laughing at my responses and telling me I was wring. I did not tell them I was a financial professional on this occasion and proceeded with the conversation to see how many lies I would be told. They were numerous regarding the price of the vehicle which was inflated when we came in but cheaper online on their website. They tried to get other people involved from the dealership telling us again about the market and needing these vehicles as police vehicles. They also tried to sell me a newer vehicle in a color I didn't want trying to push this other vehicle onto us because it was supposedly such a good deal. To be clear, having a $10 000 loan on a 2018 vehicle and then being offered a 2020 base vehicle and having a loan of $50000 is not a deal, it is putting the consumer in further debt to profit twice on a sale. I continue to receive these calls and have left messages for management and been hung up on after waiting for 20 minutes on hold. I am polite but I am thoroughly unimpressed and angered by this state of unprofessionalism and lack of ethics. Please my friends, don't buy their vehicles. I will never be buying from them again and I am a VIP member with several of their vehicles. In fact I'm wondering if any of this is illegal in some way and will be calling the police to follow up. Just bought a 2017 Santa Fee. Excellent service from day one from Eve Gelinas at Country Hills Hyundai. I had some concerns following the test drive. Eve took care of addressing all of them. After the next one from Eve Gelinas at Country Hills Hyundai. I had some concerns following the test drive. Eve took care of addressing all of them. After the next visit, I was transferred to the Financial manager Nam Duong to continue the purchasing process. I greatly appreciated Nam taking the time to get the car fixed before I drive it home. In the end I participated in the repair cost but was glad to drive an almost brand new Santa Fe. Also, greatly appreciated the close to 180 km shuttle service to bring me to the dealership to pick my vehicle. More
I bought my current car from Country Hills Hyundai and was in a bit of a rush to get it because I was staring a new job and needed to commute again. When I bought it (at 97km on the car), I was told the w was in a bit of a rush to get it because I was staring a new job and needed to commute again. When I bought it (at 97km on the car), I was told the windshield would be replaced because it had a crack, the tires would be replaced because they were close to being done, and the brakes would be replaced because they were very soft. The first two were done. They said the brakes were done, but here I am 35km into driving, replacing the brakes and rotors…. I blame myself because I didn’t get the sales guy to put it on the bill of sale, but is there any onus on the dealership to just do the right thing? Obviously not. After that, I had my winter wheels put on and taken off by them. This season, when I pulled my tires out, I noticed they stripped the seal of one of my tires. Now, I had an appointment at another shop to get my tires put on rims, so they ordered a new tire for me with same day delivery so I could get my winter tires put on. The next day I go to the service area at Country Hills Hyundai and they said they couldn’t do anything about the tire, but offered two free oil changes. Now my issue with this is, why would I let them touch my car after that? I had the tires for one season and already have to replace one because of their mechanics error/negligence, so I don’t know that I’m comfortable bringing my car back. And, I have a complete paper tail showing that they damaged my tire, but they won’t take responsibility and/or reimburse me for having to get a new one. So again, why would I let them touch my car again? I will add that I have had 3 Hyundai cars now (I also have every invoice of work done on each car) and they have all been great. The previous dealerships I had went to I had no issue, but Country Hills Hyundai has left me disappointed. I will continue to take my car to another shop where the service is much better and consistent and will rethink my options when buying my next car. More
I received a recall notice yesterday informing me to call an make an appt to have the service dept perform a repair. I called today and had the most unpleasant conversation with a woman at the service dep an make an appt to have the service dept perform a repair. I called today and had the most unpleasant conversation with a woman at the service dept. I told her why I was calling and with her tone of disbelief and interrupting her day told me she would look it up in her computer. I would assume once she looked it up she would have found the reason of recall yet she kept asking me what the letter said. Begrudgingly she asked me what time I want to bring my vehicle in and if I needed a shuttle. I booked a time for 1015 and I said probably wouldn't need a shuttle as my paperwork advised the time to perform the repair is less than 1 hour. If there are complications and it's needed longer I understand. However she told me that 1015 is not your appt time to see a tech only the time to be at the dealership. I asked her , then I could be 4 or 5 hours before I see a tech? She said yes , depends how busy they are. I am taking time out of my day for a Hyundai recall and she is so flippant in having no concern for a customers time. I appreciated Hyundai providing me notice but this woman turned what should have been an ordinary booking for a customer that's bringing the vehicle in on Hyundais direction into a confrontational, rude experience.
