I bought my current car from Country Hills Hyundai and was in a bit of a rush to get it because I was staring a new job and needed to commute again. When I bought it (at 97km on the car), I was told the windshield would be replaced because it had a crack, the tires would be replaced because they were close to being done, and the brakes would be replaced because they were very soft. The first two were done. They said the brakes were done, but here I am 35km into driving, replacing the brakes and rotors…. I blame myself because I didn’t get the sales guy to put it on the bill of sale, but is there any onus on the dealership to just do the right thing? Obviously not. After that, I had my winter wheels put on and taken off by them. This season, when I pulled my tires out, I noticed they stripped the seal of one of my tires. Now, I had an appointment at another shop to get my tires put on rims, so they ordered a new tire for me with same day delivery so I could get my winter tires put on. The next day I go to the service area at Country Hills Hyundai and they said they couldn’t do anything about the tire, but offered two free oil changes. Now my issue with this is, why would I let them touch my car after that? I had the tires for one season and already have to replace one because of their mechanics error/negligence, so I don’t know that I’m comfortable bringing my car back. And, I have a complete paper tail showing that they damaged my tire, but they won’t take responsibility and/or reimburse me for having to get a new one. So again, why would I let them touch my car again? I will add that I have had 3 Hyundai cars now (I also have every invoice of work done on each car) and they have all been great. The previous dealerships I had went to I had no issue, but Country Hills Hyundai has left me disappointed. I will continue to take my car to another shop where the service is much better and consistent and will rethink my options when buying my next car. More
I received a recall notice yesterday informing me to call an make an appt to have the service dept perform a repair. I told her why I was calling and with her tone of disbelief and interrupting her day told me she would look it up in her computer. I would assume once she looked it up she would have found the reason of recall yet she kept asking me what the letter said. Begrudgingly she asked me what time I want to bring my vehicle in and if I needed a shuttle. I booked a time for 1015 and I said probably wouldn't need a shuttle as my paperwork advised the time to perform the repair is less than 1 hour. If there are complications and it's needed longer I understand. However she told me that 1015 is not your appt time to see a tech only the time to be at the dealership. I asked her , then I could be 4 or 5 hours before I see a tech? She said yes , depends how busy they are. I am taking time out of my day for a Hyundai recall and she is so flippant in having no concern for a customers time. I appreciated Hyundai providing me notice but this woman turned what should have been an ordinary booking for a customer that's bringing the vehicle in on Hyundais direction into a confrontational, rude experience. I will never be purchasing a vehicle from country hills Hyundai. They knew I was flying down from fort mcmurray to finalize that deal I was told me I could get 0.9% financing on and a six month deferral, w Hyundai. They knew I was flying down from fort mcmurray to finalize that deal I was told me I could get 0.9% financing on and a six month deferral, which was the whole point of me purchasing it.. when I got financial approval before I booked my flight, using all my flight points plus $150 dollars, missed a day of work AND second because I left without a car and no way home, did they ever mentioned it was for 4.49%. I lost a lot of money because of these guys. Then to top it off my dealer never got back to me the morning I was coming in. I had to call the dealership to ask where he was to find out he wasn’t even scheduled to come in till noon. Only Then did he finally text me to tell me he wouldn’t be in at all and someone else would help me. When I showed up, no one knew I was coming in. They didn’t let me test drive the actual vehicle because it only had 300km on it and pushed me into another car cause they “didn’t want me to put more km on my new car”. I never knew about the new interest rate and had to specifically ask about the 6 month deferral when we finally got to signing papers. The NEW guy that was helping seemed completely uninterested in trying to help me get my original deal. Not only that, but less than a month later after walking out on them I got an email from my original dealer asking me about “how my car search was going”. Thanks for wasting my time. I bought my first Sonata Hybrid from Country Hills Hyundai in 2012. Since then I have purchased 2 Sante Fe’s, an new Sonata Hybrid and a Tucson. The reason is service. key Rehal has been the servi Hyundai in 2012. Since then I have purchased 2 Sante Fe’s, an new Sonata Hybrid and a Tucson. The reason is service. key Rehal has been the service manager since it opened and he always has a great service team. Also, with every service they wash my car for free! I highly recommend this dealership for great vehicles, great service and fair prices. Happy customer, Tom Gallagher More

This dealership and service depart should be rated at -5 or worse. NOTHING but issues from the buying process to the service department just being the absolute worst people to deal with cars. A year ago we were told it would be 5 days to get the car in stock. A month later it finally arrived. Over the last year with service appointments we have had the most joke excuses on why certain things were not done. The service “manger” Gagandeep Sandhu sure doesn’t give a xxxx about a customers experience or the damage his staff left on a car. Sounds like he’s more worried about clocking out and going home then the image of the dealership. The oil changes have been day long events which include a car wash, but the “wash” always seems to be broken. They even wanted to “buy” a review removal by offering a gold detail package for all the issues we have had. Then we take it in again thinking it’s going to be better as it was promised multiple times and now the car we took in is returned damaged. Damage with is VERY obvious it was done after the car was washed and shined as it’s still flaking plastic off the bumper. I understand trying to save face and review cameras but you don’t wash and polish a scratched out plastic surface for it to still contain dirt and dust in it. -5/5 stars STAY THE xxxx AWAY! More
Had a maintenance problem with my 2017 Elantra regarding check engine light coming on a random basis. Talked to the service advisor regard the issue, they stated due to the randomness of the problem, if th check engine light coming on a random basis. I live out of town, and I took the vehicle down on Thursday, they diagnosed the problem referenced the Technical Service Bulletin and repairs were put in place. Thank-you very much Country Hills Hyundai for your professionalism and flexibility! Love the Elantra and when we need maintenance work, we will be using your dealership. When we replace it, we will be at your dealership! You guys rock!!!! More
Quite simply, this must be the far most terrible Car dealership in all of Canada. After service is appalling and customer service is non-existent. I have called the service department repeatedly regarding my Air Conditioning system for 2017 Santa Fe which they failed to fix despite 3 previous service calls. This would definitely be my last Hyundai vehicle as i am completely dissatisfied with the after-service provided. More
So I purchased my car from Steven Brown, K. Within the first couple of months I started to have Brake issues ( when I purchased the vehicle and took it to an independent mechanic they mentioned to me that first couple of months I started to have Brake issues ( when I purchased the vehicle and took it to an independent mechanic they mentioned to me that my rotors were rusted and that they will soon be a very costly mechanic visit) I brought this up to the Steven, and between him and the in house technician managed to convince me that it was an aesthetic problem and nothing to be worried about, fast forward a couple of months, and doing all my car services at this location on Time, my brakes started feeling weird so I took it in to have it looked at and they tell me that my Rotors are rusted and attempt to bill be +1000$, then exactly 11month from purchasing my car, never missing any appointments, my Engine dies on the highway when I'm out of town, I call them and after being transferred to atleast 4 different people Nam ( I'm sure that's the name) said sucks to be you, then I get transferred to someone else to ask about getting a rental ( because hyundai covers this) and they give me the wrong Number. Do not but from them, they are dishonest. More
