Unbelievably unimpressed with Hyundai Customer service It were possible to zero stars. I would.. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is clear that Hyundai does not care about its customers, and wants nothing to do with them once they have their money. The details of my experience are as follows. I had the brakes and calipers on my 2014 Elantra repaired at the Hyundai Orillia dealership. When I first brought the car in, I was told that the car would need new brake pads, calipers and rotors. The service advisor informed me that the last break job done on the car was incorrect, so all of these parts needed to be replaced. This was quite surprising, and disappointing because the previous brake job was completed at Hyundai in Collingwood this past April; there was only 10,000km on the brakes. After receiving the news that we'd need to have the brakes done again, I spoke to Tge service manager at Collingwood about the situation. He contacted the Orillia Hyundai warranty department and I was assured that the entire cost of the repair, including labour, would be covered. Unfortunately, when I picked up the car, I was charged for the labour and was advised that I should request a reimbursement. After picking up the car, I made repeated calls to both the Collingwood and Orillia dealerships but neither are willing to take responsibility for this cost. In the meantime, my car has been back to the Orillia dealership because theoriginal cause for my bringing my car in was not addressed - seizing back brakes. Luckily that is now fixed but since picking up the car from thislatest repair the ride extremely uncomfortable (bumpy and vibrating. Since this time, I have contacted Hyundai Canada, who assured me that they would have you contact me. To date, this has not occurred, and is simply another example of the excruciatingly appalling customer service that I have received to date. The number of phone calls, un-returned voicemails and the trips I've had to make to To various dealerships does not represent the level of customer service that I, as a paid, warrantied customer, deserve. After my recent experience with, I can confidently state that I will not be doing business with Hyundai in the future. More

The service department has always taken the time to explain any necessary repairs and never pushed anything that wasn't required. They’ve always completed repairs/servicing by promised times and on budget. I liked the service so much (and friendly sales staff) that last year I bought two vehicles from them. I love my 2017 Santa Fe and Sonata, and I’m glad I bought here! More

Watch what you pay for. Went in for a FREE OIL CHANGE..............turned out to cost me 1000.00. First of all my apt for 1:00 for a free oil change was terribly late. In the mean time, I was told my Tuscan needed a service done on it which would be around 300.00. So we agreed, The Service manager said why don't I give you a car, you go home and we will call you later. Go home , get a call the car need new brakes, ok , we get new brakes. Went back to pick up car and cost me 1000.00. This bothered me for some time, and I must say I was a bit slow in responding, but I went and checked out my paperwork, and guess what, I had the same maintenance job done 15 mths prior and I had paper work showing my brakes were good. Now how do they get away with this. Phoned the owner, said we had to take it up with the manager of service. He could not care less. they got their money. I even phoned Head Office and explained the situation and they said they would contact Collingwood, but does not mean they will do anything..DiD NOT HEAR FROM THEM. So now we take our Hyundai elsewhere for service and I have shown a couple of places my documentation, and they even said it did not look right. The car had around 42,000 km on it, like new and is a 2014.. I even told the guy that I could find no difference on the brakes. He did not care. NEVER , NEVER, will I go back their again. I could go on and on, but Just beware. If you need an oil change, don't let them try and tell you , you need other things done to your car unless you are absolutely sure. More

We purchased a 2015 Elantra Ltd. after dealing with Derick Smart at the Collingwood dealership who was very knowledgeable with respect to his product , patient while we made our decision and a no pressure sales rep. Manager Adam was a big help to us as well, offering friendly no pressure advice during the purchase procedure. Judy was very friendly and very efficient managing the financial aspects of our purchase. All in all a very good experience. Baytowne could learn several lessons from this team, customers are your business and an unhappy one tells lots of other potential customers. If you are considering a Hyundai purchase and have a choice of dealerships it would be well worth your while to travel a few more miles for a stress free purchase experience and to meet a great team who want to see you leave happy. They didn't put the timing belt on properly and it caused to burn a hole in the plastic cover. My step-dad said it could have blown up and killed us and when we took it the mechanic agreed with my step-dad. They said they would replace it no problem, they even gave us a brand new Elantra until they fixes it. Were in May now and thought all was finally right with the car until today. I've heard the same noise it was making back and November and got my step-dad to look at it. When we popped the good we fount that they ONLY patched the hole. Now we have a hole again and could have had it blow up for the second time. We are going in on Monday and plan on demanding certain things, such as a brand new timing belt/plastic cover, and talking to the owner about their service manager and our HORRIBLE experience. If you have a service problem go to Owen Sound or Oriliia. More
