Jeff Ulmer sourced the truck I wanted I went too Cochrane Dodge on my brother in law's advice( he knows Jeff's family). Jeff listened to what I wanted, didn't have one on the lot, but foun I went too Cochrane Dodge on my brother in law's advice( he knows Jeff's family). I was initially looking at the 2016 Ram's offered on the incentive plans at the time with suitable requirements for hauling horses with a 18 foot gooseneck trailer. I dealt with Jeffry Ulmer (who was extremely patient with me), and he found me the truck which suited my needs. I could not be happier with the service and advice I received from Jeffry U, his due diligence in finding me the truck I needed/wanted and at a price comparable to or below similar trucks offered at other dealerships in southern Alberta. In my dealings with Jeffry, I never felt pressured to purchase a truck which did not suit my needs/wants - exactly the opposite, Jeffry was more concerned with finding me the truck I needed! More

Two weeks ago I paid them a $1000 holding deposit to confirm I was **interested** in a specific vehicle. At no point was any legally binding paperwork signed which obliged me to go ahead and purchase this vehicle. Last Saturday the vehicle was brought in and I went to view it and drive for the first time. I was disappointed with how cheap it felt inside. I decided not to go ahead with the purchase. This dealership have flatly refused to refund my $1000 deposit, on the basis of the amount of "time invested" bringing this vehicle in and "time invested" in the transaction so far. **No legally binding documents** were signed at any point stating that this deposit was non-refundable. I have just been in to the dealership and spoken with the most rude, arrogant salesman, Richard Hokey, who physically stood up out of his chair and walked over to me in a threatening manner when I challenged him about the fact that this is now theft. I will be pursuing the refund of my money with AMVIC and reporting them to the BBB. They claim to be a family business but never in my life have I come across such an immoral business of total circus xxxxxxx and scam artists. DO NOT purchase a vehicle with these people. More

I bought my first Jeep from Cochrane Dodge almost 4 years ago and at that time, I have to say that the sales and service were one of the worst I've ha I bought my first Jeep from Cochrane Dodge almost 4 years ago and at that time, I have to say that the sales and service were one of the worst I've had to deal with. A few months into my purchase I had warranty issues with my Jeep and when Jason Whitfield began as service manager, I saw Cochrane Dodge in a different light! It went from the service department not knowing my name and my issues not being addressed to a place where I now know many of the staff in all departments on a first name basis. Jason worked directly with me to make sure that my issues were always dealt and I always left feeling like I was an important customer. If it wasn't for Jason and his staff in the service department, such as Jeff Ulmer, I wouldn't have continued to seek service for my Jeep at this dealership. It's been 4 years and we have now bought our last 3 vehicles from this dealership, including our most recent purchase with Jeff's help. Service works with you to get the service you need without breaking the bank and sales will work with you to get you into a vehicle that you like and can afford. There is not a person at this dealership that hasn't made an impression; parts, finance, and the shuttle service are all staffed with wonderful people. If you want to deal with friendly, competent, and honest staff for all your vehicle needs, I would recommend Cochrane Dodge! More

Good salesperson, not pleased with service dept. Purchased 2014 Dodge Caravan and up until 30,000 km/2 years everything was fine. Service tech tried to say my brakes were "pulsating" and would require a $450+ repair to machine the rotors. When I questioned how this could happen, I was told "it might be the way you drive." Never felt any pulsation and why would I remove material from supposedly warped rotors rather than replacing the rotors and pads with quality aftermarket parts that came with a warranty. I've owned several new vehicles and never had to face costly brake repairs with under 30,000 km or 2 years on the vehicle. Contacted Cochrane Dodge Service Manager and Chrysler Canada with no reply from dealership and Chrysler just threw their hands up in the air. Took van to an independent mechanic who took my van for a test drive and free inspection and he found nothing wrong with the brakes, pads or rotors. Be aware of the "pulsation" in the brakes ploy and take your vehicle to a trustworthy mechanic for a 2nd opinion. Avoided unwarranted expensive repairs as well as unnecessarily removing material from my rotors. Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience despite an overall pleasant buying experience. Buyer beware. More
