Carter GM great place to deal I will buy my next car there I bought a used truck from a dealer Applewood Kia and was driving it for about a year, I noticed a knocking bottom end of my engine and got worried no I bought a used truck from a dealer Applewood Kia and was driving it for about a year, I noticed a knocking bottom end of my engine and got worried no engine lights on or any type of warnings, I happened to land on their doorstep and had you initial diagnostics and so on It was painfull but I could tell they were trying to save me money by doing step by step diagnostics. it was inexpensive and they did not ask me to replace all kinds of parts they were pretty straight up and said sounds like your bottom end is toast. All the mechanics came out and sat to figure out the situation talking amongst themselves they came to the final conclusion you need a new engine,. to make a long story short the found me a new engine at an unbelievable price straight from GM crate and when the mechanic was pulling it he noticed the oil pressure cable had been spliced and disconnected from the BCM so therefore no lights would come on to warn you there was no pressure, Why would the mechanic bother to tell me that, most mechanics would have just continued on and put the new engine in, because of His actions I sued the Dealer that sold it to me and won enough for the engine job and some upgrades. So unfortunately you had a bad experience and I fortunately had a great one, plus the mechanic made me a deal and cut the labor down on his own and charged me straight time rather than GM book time. total scam I got a call from Joel at Carter GM and he said to me that GM would like to purchase my vehicle back with no catch at a price more than the market. I have ask if purchase is required and he said no. He said the deal is really with GM and Carter is just carrying out the instruction. I bought the car in for an assessment and the price I got was way below the blackbook value and was also less than what I would get if I sold the vehicle as scrap metal.  I had the tire changed and the brake pad changed as well costing me $1500. I told Carter that and what Joel said to me. The guy at the front desk who is also the sales manager, Robert said Joel works in the call center and has no authorization.  If I purchase a vehicle from them they would offer me $1500 if I don't purchase then only $700. This is a joke and is a way for them to get people into their store to look at their vehicles. They told me the actually value of the vehicle is really worth $500. Noone will pay more then $500. My tires which I got at Costco a month ago was $135 each and the brake pad and the other new repair costed me over $1500. I took my vehicle back and just drove away They scam people into their car dealer to look at their use cars which lots of them have scratches or dents.   The salesman has quietly apologized to me.  But it seems like the manager pretends he has never heard of the blackbook which upset me. The appraisal took about an hour.  Total waste of time.   More

I bought a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT in excellent condition from Steve Boulay last Monday to transport my sled & dirt bike. I purchased a used vehicle from them not long ago and I unfortunately didn't purchase any extended warranty. As I was reassured several times the used vehicle had met all the safety checks and regulations unfortunately didn't purchase any extended warranty. However, just over a month the transmission had seized because of the cross contamination of fluids from the radiator to the transmission. Basically, antifreeze from the radiator leaked into the transmission fluid making all the gears slippery. So when you step on the gas you don't move but you hear the engine rev. So as it turns out after calling them about the issue they tell me they best they can do is refer me to an affiliate transmission service shop and offer 10% off the price I'm charged. Generally a new transmission and radiator can be priced between 3-6 thousand dollars for my vehicle. This is after a month and couple of days i paid over over 10 thousand on this vehicle and I now have to spend more. I even asked them to put themselves in my position yet I don't think they understood. Where's the dealership warranty on selling vehicles! be warned!!! More

She supported my daughter online, in person and answered every question, without pushing her into a car. Even let her bring home all the paperwork to show me before she made a decision. I will definitely give a GM product a closer look for my next purchase due to this positive event. More

I had a horrible experience buying a vehicle from here, go to eagle ridge Chrysler instead you will get a far better deal. My girlfriend purchased a Chevy Cruz from this dealership, the salesman obviously go to eagle ridge Chrysler instead you will get a far better deal. My girlfriend purchased a Chevy Cruz from this dealership, the salesman obviously saw a mark when her and mom walked into the dealership as she is pretty susceptible to pressure. in the end she ended up paying 19000 for the Chevy Cruz that MSRP was 23000, The next day we found a ad in the paper for same year Chevy Cruz's from Eagle Ridge GM @ $12000, so we decided to investigate. I called Eagle Ridge, I told them the specifics of the vehicle I was looking to buy, told them that I went and saw it at carter but didn't buy and I was looking to compare prices between the dealerships. He asked me for what they were going to sell it for I told him I don't deal like that come at with your best offer and if its the best one I will come down and buy it from you The quote he came back with for her model which was the 2013 Cevy Cruze LT Turbo was $16000!!! THATS $3000 LESS THAN CARTER CHEVROLET. I then called Carter Chevrolet and had the opportunity to talk with their sales manager who in her round about way said that Eagle Ridge was lying that they couldn't offer it for that price, she then proceeded to say that she wasn't going to deal with me that she wanted to deal with my girlfriend who is obviously a lot easier to convince that they didn't rip her off....
