I stopped into the Quick Lube station to get my oil changed and to see if they could change out my left rear signal light as it had burnt out. All 4 of the young men who helped with my service were ve changed and to see if they could change out my left rear signal light as it had burnt out. All 4 of the young men who helped with my service were very friendly and helpful. They got the work done quickly and efficiently and changed out my light for me. I just had to go buy the bulb from parts (who were also very friendly and helpful) and then they installed it for me…at no charge! Then they noticed that I had a nail in my left rear tired and that it had a slow leak. They said that if I had time, they could repair it right then. It was great to get all my issues resolved so quickly and in such a friendly way. I always bring my vehicle to Capital for service and will continue to do so! Thank you to all…sorry I don't have their names! More
I walked into Capital Dodge in South Edmonton, Alberta...Looking for guy who knew what he was talking about. Ryan Hoffman was that guy! He had taken care of me and continues to do so with the u Alberta...Looking for guy who knew what he was talking about. Ryan Hoffman was that guy! He had taken care of me and continues to do so with the utmost respect and results, even after the purchase! I haven't felt like "they got their sale, that was all that mattered. I had a hiccup with the service department not contacting me regarding my upgrades and vehicle returned to me that evening. Upon my e-mail regarding the issue at 8pm MST, Ryan responded by phone within minutes to get to the bottom of the issue and my upset. He promised to make it up to me and he did! He found exactly what I was looking for and has the knowledge to back it up. I know the vehicle fairly well and he didn't skip a beat or say "wait let me ask someone"....He knew the answers on the spot! I rated him on the Customer service and friendliness as a 5 and this is why... He was prompt to get my add-ons done asap. He worked with me to find EXACTLY what I wanted for a truck. This guy is so friendly he makes you feel at ease to deal with and didn't pressure me into buying the vehicle and was happy to go out and bring up + clear off trucks in -15 deg C weather. He has gone out of his was to fix and make up to me any faults and mistakes service has made. If I were to buy another vehicle from Dodge....Ryans my guy! He was backed up by his assistant Sales Manager. Taurean whom made sure that I'd want to make Capital Dodge my new home for all my Dodge vehicles. I did just move here from ontario and brought some along with me for the ride. I Wasn't just looking for a car purchase but a Dealership to be a family for me when I need my vehicles cared for and serviced. Also Backing these two up was Parm in Finance who definately made this happen with my credit! He was also very friendly like the other two gents and was easy to talk with and made recommendations to save money here and there based upon my personal needs. Rather than dealing with "The Three Stooges" you may find at most dealerships...I'd have to say they stepped it up to be "The Three Musketeers"! Overall experience was is a 4 for the dealership. Only because of the service dept letting me down on my first visit. Ryans efforts got my requests done and I wouldnt reflect the 4 on him as my overall experience was a 5 with Ryan! The service dept slipped me thruough the cracks and left me without a truck overnight. Ryan made sure what I had to come back for the following Tuesday (Bushwacker fender guards) was taken care of in the AM before I picked up my truck! Kuduos Ryan! Quality of Work was rated as a 3 due to the fact the remote starter installed makes my check engine light come one an ddisables the eco in my truck. Something that should've been tested and fixed before returned to me. Once Again Ryan's quality in his work and ethics is a 5! Last but not least the overall price I got from the dealership seems a little high looking back on it all as I find the same truck at another local dealership for a lower cost by a couple - few thousand. Not to mention certain finance rates seem lower in the market currently like possible 0% financing going around. not the 5% I got. If you go into Capital Dodge in South Edmonton, Ask for Ryan Hoffman. He gets things done! - Brett Millar, Proud new owner of a 2014 Ram 1500 Sport Fully Loaded More
Over a month ago i purchased a 2014 ram 1500 sport from this dealership and my sales experience was tremendous. i went into the dealership already knowing what i wanted, i had spent a few months looking in this dealership and my sales experience was tremendous. i went into the dealership already knowing what i wanted, i had spent a few months looking into the vehicles and had one in mind that Capital happened to have on the lot that day. There was no teeth pulling when it came to the sale price i asked for a number and i got said number plus a free Gold package (free basic maintenance for the life of the vehicle) tire and rim warranty and other things were included. With the sales being a positive experience i was optimistic for my soon coming maintenance time and i was not disappointed i had a two way car starter installed plus some other basic maintenance done, i dropped my vehicle off in the morning and did some shopping in the parts department until i left for home by way of the customer shuttle all the parties i was in contact with were extremely helpful and happy the atmosphere of the dealership is a very positive one, a laid back but still a place of work atmosphere my service adviser Jenn was constantly in contact with me letting me know the progress of my vehicle while Joe in parts was extremely helpful finding some hard to find parts for my truck ( '14 Ram Runner Pre Runner fenders) even though mopar doesn't have any available for my vehicle he put me in contact with one of the top body shops in edmonton to help me complete my plans for my vehicle, lastly but most definitely not least was Kyle in the customer shuttle talking with him was easy and it made the ride from south edmonton to my home in spruce grove quite enjoyable it felt as though we had known each other for a long time but had only met that day i honestly have no complaints on any aspect of the services i have experienced at this dealership and the sales person i dealt with Kelvin Pang still remembers who i am and asks about my truck. if you want small town friendliness and big city performance i strongly suggest this dealer More

I am totally disappointed with the Capital Dodge Sales department who used all the worst sales tactics you can find in the industry. I bought a used 2012 Dodge Journey...they had two and were first selli department who used all the worst sales tactics you can find in the industry. I bought a used 2012 Dodge Journey...they had two and were first selling me the cheaper one, but finally I took the newer higher end model for a test drive. We negotiated the price and I had the documents in front of me for signing, and that's when the nasty sales tactics started: First I wanted to put a condition on the sale, spousal approval, but the salesman and manager both started getting pushy and saying that I shouldn't need to do that since we had a deal. Luckily I was able to call my wife on the phone and so I proceeded to sign the deal. Next, when I looked closely at the document while in financing, the VIN number was not the car I had just test drove! Luckily I caught it and told the financial officer that contract wasn't valid. I was left stewing in the financing office until a manager came in and told me that they couldn't do that deal on that vehicle (which, from reading these reviews is a new tactic I hadn't dealt with before...getting your signature and your heart set on a vehicle and then asking for more money) I was going to walk, but then the manager gave a price that was lower by $500, but when I told him it was lower he took off and said he would be right back. I left to return to work, and they called me to say they would honor the $500 bucks off, so I ended up purchasing the vehicle. Finally, when I pick up the vehicle it only has one key fob! When I asked for a second it would be full price $350, no deals, not even cost. Finally, they offer the second key fob at cost, but by this time I am so frustrated and angry I don't want anything to do with them. My recommendation is to stay away from Capital Dodge! More
My husband and I originally planned on looking for a USED minivan - but with the exceptional end-of-the-year deals, the amazing customer service from Evan Lohr, Sean Sumner, and Kristen Lyons, we ended up pu minivan - but with the exceptional end-of-the-year deals, the amazing customer service from Evan Lohr, Sean Sumner, and Kristen Lyons, we ended up purchasing a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. Evan went above and beyond the call of duty - allowing me to pester him with random questions - even when he was no longer on shift. He was always professional and friendly! This was the third vehicle that I purchased from them and went back becuase we had a good experience in the past. I first viewed the 14 Fiat 500L on June 30. We returned on July 2 and took it for a tes went back becuase we had a good experience in the past. I first viewed the 14 Fiat 500L on June 30. We returned on July 2 and took it for a test drive and decided to proceed with the purchase as the vehicle. On July 4 we were informed that the loan went through and that we would be contacted in the morning to set up a delivery time. July 5 at 9:05 am I was contacted by the Service Manager and we set up a time for delivery for July 7 at 11:00 am. Fast forward to July 7 at 11:00 am....we pull up to the dealership and my vehicle hasn't been touched. My stomach flips and I go in to find out why my vehicle has't been touched. I am greeted by three men at the main desk and they can see that I am upset. I demand to know why my vehile isn't ready. The Sales Manager, Lowell, indicates that my vehicle needed a part. By this time my husband has entered and is standing by me. I demand to know why no one had contacted me to tell me that my vehicle wasn't ready as this would have saved me a trip. Lowell than asks where I am coming from to which my husband responds it doens't matter, we made a trip that shouldn't have been made. We are told that someone will call us tomorrow. We quickly leave very upset. A short time our sales guy calls to apologize for not calling and telling us to not come down for our vehicle. Now my brain is focused on crap I have no insurance on my existing car as I have taken it off for my new vehicle. Zack says that they will give me a dealer plate (later retracts this), than offeres a rental the following day (this wouldn't work for me as I have a meeting early in the morning), than tells me to take a cab and I will get reimbursed (this wont work as I drive from Fort Sask to the west end to drop my daughter and grandson off before proceeding to work in the downtown area). I told him I have to think of a solution. I decide to call frist thing in the morning to get the insurance back on my car and I request tint be put on my car and the front 3md for my troubles. Zack says he will let me know if they will agree to this in the morning. Monday July 8th I am contacted by Lowell and told yes they will tint and 3m. I am also told at that time that my loan was different than I had requested. Instead of 6 years it is now 5 years. News to me but the interest rate was better so that is alright. July 12th our vehicle is finally ready and we are on our way to get it. We arrive to pick it up at 6:00 pm. We sign the papers go to the car to do the delivery inspection. My seats are stained, there is plastic on the seats, cardboad on the floor and all of the tags still on the inside. You can clearly see that it hasn't been cleaned inside at all. We later discover that the NAV system hasn't been programmed yet. We make an appointment for the 16th to bring the vehicle back to have it cleaned and the NAV installed. At the end of the day on the 16th we arrive and the outside of the car shines. You can see that right away a difference from the 12th. The wheels are shiny and you can see the glitter in the paint job. My face is finally sporting a smile. :) We view the interior and the dealership did forget to take all of the delivery tags out of the car which means that the inside still hadn't been detailed but the seats are clean and that was really my main concern. We also later find out that the vehicles do not come with NAV installed, they only come NAV ready. The dealership decided to install this at no cost to me for my troubles. Yes this was a rocky purchase for me, but when you look at what the dealership did (tint windows, 3M the front, reduction on the extended warranty, installed NAV) I do truly think that the dealership tried to rectify the situation for me and becuase of that I will continue to use this dealership for my service work. Thank you Capital for turning a bad experience into a positive experience. More
I walked in with a van that was pretty beat up and had allot owing on it. The entire staff from the salesmen, sales manager and the finance team were great. They worked very hard to get me into a new ve allot owing on it. The entire staff from the salesmen, sales manager and the finance team were great. They worked very hard to get me into a new vehicle and I was even able to go from a 12% interest rate down to a 6% interest rate. I have dealt with 3 other car dealer ships over the years and none of them gave me this kind of service. More
