Kylee Erwin the Sales Consultant who worked with me , was really amazing. She asked the right questions to understand what i was looking for in a car and off course she kept in mind the budget . There was no pressure selling and I felt really comfortable working with her .I gave her all the information and she did the rest, got me the Car that I am really enjoying and feel safe in,within a short time . Mary Young helped me to get the best financing options and she was quick and efficient to getting the paperwork ready on time. Tyler Wheeler was so helpful when we picked the car, he move all my stuff from my old car ( which he didn't have to by the way ) and switched my registration plates to the car we had purchased . I came in with my 7 year old and she was like enjoying the popcorn and the fact that she got a balloon and I was happy with the family friendly environment . We all know kids can be adventurous and sometimes chaotic ,lounge area comfortable and kids play area awesome. I definitely know where all my friends and Family are getting their next cars. Two words....Dream Team!! My experience with this dealership was beyond amazing!! I had been eyeing a certain vehicle for a couple months and although I didn't require an addit My experience with this dealership was beyond amazing!! I had been eyeing a certain vehicle for a couple months and although I didn't require an additional vehicle at the moment I contacted Cambridge Hyundai on a whim just to see what type of financing I qualified for and what type of deals they had going on and that's when I was connected with Mary. Mary was unbelievably helpful answering all my financial questions along with the dozen others I brought to the table she also started working with the banks to get me the best possible rate for financing and this was all done over the phone and within hours. She made me feel very comfortable and although this was the our first conversation it felt like I was talking with an old friend. Anyway, once the financial aspect was taken care of Mary arranged a meeting for myself and a sales person for that weekend as I live and work in Guelph. That Saturday I came into the dealership and not only got to meet Mary but was introduced to Kylee. Kylee was so friendly, courteous and knowledgable. She took her time with me and answered all my questions which helped me make the most informed decision about a vehicle purchase. I ended up test driving a beautiful 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited and although that wasn't the vehicle I originally had my eye on I fell in love almost instantly! There were a few minor repairs that needed to be addressed such as a few chips, a scratch in the leather and a faulty connection with the radio but I was assured everything would be perfect when I came to pick it up. Needless to say I quickly scooped up the car and with Mary's help got an amazing deal! This was the second car purchase I've made but the first time I actually walked away excited and absolutely positive I made the right decision. Mary and Kylee were the dream team.... My dream team :) Anyway, about a week later I went to pick up my car and Kylee was so "on the money" when she said it would be as good as new, this car, although used was perfect!! The chip in the hood was gone, the scratch in the leather completely repaired and a brand new radio was on order and would be installed a few days later. It was detailed to perfection and I couldn't have been more happy. So here we are a month later and I still get excited every time I get behind the wheel and to think it was all because I decided to act on a whim but to be honest if it hadn't of been for Mary or Kylee I probably wouldn't have even purchased a second vehicle so with that.....kudos ladies you ARE the dream team. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone interested in not only purchasing a quality automobile but to experience what TRUE customer service really is! I contacted Cambridge Hyundai through the website for a "special" online price quote. The "special" price quote was the advertised price of the vehicle plus an additional $500 administration fee. This is i "special" online price quote. The "special" price quote was the advertised price of the vehicle plus an additional $500 administration fee. This is illegal behaviour according to OMVIC guidelines that the dealership must follow. The advertised price of a car must include all fees tacked on by the dealership. The sales rep became extremely defensive when I called them on their behaviour. And they told me it didn't matter cause the car had been sold already. After this experience I'm never buying a car from this place. More
Was in the market for a new 2012 and walked into the dealership. Was impressed with the Sonata and the Sales guy seemed pretty OK and tried to make the deal the same day. They took the offer back to the "manager" and after a few minutes they came back and said they would accept and presented a bill of sale. Like the earlier reviewer, the idiots jacked the price by a few hundred dollars. I should have know that I am dealing with crooks but I still signed and looked forward to picking up my car. Fast forward 2 weeks and I went to pick up my car and as part of the delivery I identified two things, the Navi maps , were more then 3 years old and they were scratches on the sunroof. Both things were marked on the delivery paper and was promised a call back from the dealership, it's been three months and I am still waiting even after repeated calls. don't every visit this dealership. I was in the market for a smaller car. I had a Hyundia in 1988 and then the car and serivce sucked so I haven't had another until this one. I was looking a a new 2012 I can't remember the name but it was small and rather pricey for me. The young fellow that I was dealing with was very nice. His boss came out and said you want to spend $19,000. I said and not a penny more . He suggested that I take a look at a 2011 Elantra that was on the lot. I asked why I would buy used and not have the 5 yr. 100,000 km warranty. He said that he would make it as new so I would have an extra year warranty on the car or 20,000 kms witch ever came first. I toook it for a drive like it and went back in to the dealership. I said I'd take it for the $19,000. He said he would be right with us. He comes back with some price of $19.7???. I was ticked what did he not understand about not a penny more! Spent the weekend looking at other cars and decided to give this guy a call. I told him that in return for 19,500. I would take the used Elantra , the vaccuum(a giveaway if you bought a car) and the extra warranty and the interior cleaned and detailed. He sent the young man to my place of employment with the offer to sign . I noticed that it didn't mention the extra warranty but the young man said that would be on my bill of sale when I picked up the car.I picked it up on april the 4th and have since been trying to get someone to give me something in writing about the warranty that I was promised. The girl in the office said that everything is in the computer and Hyundia has all the info. when I pushed for something on paper for my records she printed out this warranty and had me sign it. Later when I got home I noticed that the warranty I had been given was for the next 12 months or 20,000 kms. I don't need that because the car is covered under Hyundias original warranty. Phoned Hyundia Canada and was told they don't get involved in disputes bucause it is a he said she said kind of thing. The young man says I was told about the warranty. and he actually called me on Friday afternoon to tell me that it had all been cleared up and that I had 96,575km.left on the warranty when I picked up the car.He said I had to contact the lovely lady at Hyundia Canada and she would send me a fax confirming so. I got a hold of her this morning and she said that I wasn't getting the warranty to 120,000 km but a warranty for the next 11 months. I am pissed to say the least. I called the sales manager at Cambridge today and have yet to speak to him again, although I did try to reach him again 3 times this afternoon. Curiously the sweet young lad who was supposed to be working today but unavailable to me. I hope this is resoved quickly and I guarentee you this will be the last Hyundia I buy More
always tring to sell, but not solve problem. had a new always tring to sell, but not solve problem. had a new car, do regular maintainance there, horrible experience. 1. windshield liquid does not come o always tring to sell, but not solve problem. had a new car, do regular maintainance there, horrible experience. 1. windshield liquid does not come out after only a few jerks, asked why, answer is: because there is no more liquid, the container is that big (200ml??), a few times later, a nother guy th more experience, he says the liquid container has a 4.3L volume. must be something wrong. finally it was the pump does not work. 2. car was vibrating at high way. 110~115kmh told them many times, instead they are pushing me to buy new tires. finally I went to toronto asked same question, they shop did a balance for me, 30 minutes, $30. solve the problem. 3. the car was only 36000 km odo, they told me to change transmission oild, asked cost, quoted $330. I think it is too expensive, then go to jiffylube, jiffylube told me their cost is $170 (half), but it is not necessary to do this. because according tot he manufacturer's book, the transmission change should be done at 48000 km. 4. every time when I do regular change, I was told many problem...since I do not turst them any more, I would rather seek other shop for help, such as buy new tires, change brakes etc. once it past 5 years, I will leave away from them right away.
