Being a used vehicle, we were limited in our search for just the right Impreza and - as a result - had to travel a significant distance (from Newmarket) when it came time to pick up the vehicle. On delivery day, Gerard happily stayed late (putting his personal commitments in jeopardy) to ensure we received our vehicle when it was convenient for us. Brampton North Nissan - What a disaster. First experience, last experience. I found this dealership via an online ad for a demo vehicle. After the meet and greet I was persuaded to entertai First experience, last experience. I found this dealership via an online ad for a demo vehicle. After the meet and greet I was persuaded to entertain a brand new vehicle vs. the demo. The 'no-haggle, pre-packaged offer price' for the new vs demo was nominal - which made the choice for a new vehicle very attractive. I must mention this offer was brokered and initiated by the sales department. After a last check test drive I accepted the offer. During mid-completion of the paperwork the sales associate disappears and breaks it the dealership no longer wants to complete the sale and rescinds on their agreement (again which they brokered). Spending $$ on any new vehicle is a big decision. In this case the vehicle came in over 40K. The sales practices here are suspect and shady. Any integrity which was developed during my 90 minutes at Brampton North Nissan was shattered. On top of this I never did see the original demo I intended to purchase. Who knows if it was even available. The alternate demo tested driven was riddled with electronic issues. Completely suspicious, suspect, and not acceptable. More
