Incredible Purchasing Service It was a Saturday morning and I had to rapidly purchase a Jeep Wrangler vehicle for my daughter. The deal I had been working on through the week in B It was a Saturday morning and I had to rapidly purchase a Jeep Wrangler vehicle for my daughter. The deal I had been working on through the week in BC fell through and nothing was left in BC that met our criteria. I began researching and found that Big4Motors in Calgary had several of the vehicles I was looking for. I contacted them and confirmed that I could get one of those vehicles. I had to do the deal that day so that I could be back at work in BC on Monday. I then checked flights, and much to my shock, discovered that I had to leave the house for the airport in 10 minutes. I grabbed my "go bag" and ran out the door yelling to my wife to begin making the arrangements with the bank and insurance company. As I drove to the Kelowna airport I had phone conversations with Doreen (FInance Manager), Chad (Sales person), and Rob (General Manager) to pull different elements of the deal together. They were all very helpful and innovative in dealing with several practical issues I had to deal with. Due to a blizzard in Calgary causing delayed flights we had to modify our plans with the dealer several times. Ultimately I arrived in Calgary in the middle of a blizzard. It was a great relief to be met there by Chad....in the actual vehicle I was purchasing. What a relief. Chad and I chatted amiably and had quite a few laughs as he drove through the blizzard (passing dozens of smashed vehicles on the road sides...yes ....dozens - it was carnage). Chad pointed out that there wasn't a Jeep in the bunch. Major roads were being closed and we repeatedly had to backtrack to find a new route. While other vehicles struggled through the storm the Jeep Wrangler confidently plowed through the snow and ice. When I arrived at Big4Motors everyone was very welcoming and friendly. All the paperwork was ready to go. I'd arrived minutes too late to get to the bank so Rob and Doreen stuck their necks out and came up with a creative way for me to attend to payment. They even rustled up a quick meal as I hadn't eaten since the night before. Because of the changing circumstances there were a couple of other wrinkles that had to be sorted out as well. Rob, Doreen, and Chad all cheerfully assisted me in working through them. Chad, Doreen, and Rob all stayed late past closing hours to allow me to complete the deal. As I was leaving Chad even gave me his personal window scraper saying "Here, with this storm you will need this more than me". In all, including the time spent travelling from BC to Calgary, it took approximately 8 hours from the initial contact in BC until I drove out the door with a new vehicle in Alberta. When I drove back to BC the next day I had to work through a major snowstorm all the way to the North Okanagan. Although the conditions were awful it was a perfect setting in which to test the vehicles ability to handle the bad blizzard conditions. The Jeep Wrangler crushed them and turned what was potentially a worrying ride into a fun one. It's sure-footed handling through packed snow and ice was a joy to experience. But best of all was the irrefutable proof that I had picked an extraordinarily safe vehicle for my daughter. This Dad was a very satisfied one. If you have read this far then it will come as no surprise that I highly recommend this dealership, Rob, Doreen and Chad, and the Jeep Wrangler vehicle. In all it was an amazing experiential journey. You guys ROCK!! You folks will see me again some day, but really, I could do without the blizzard. Thank you for your extraordinary professionalism and care. Best regards Don Blakely More
