Easy, Low Pressure, Friendly and Welcoming environment. I visited this dealership about 6 months a go looking for an F150 and after receiving approval I got cold feet and killed the deal. When I was in the market this time around I visited another dealership and wasn't impressed, I was uncertain how I would be treated returning to a dealership that I had a history with especially after killing a deal. So I returned to Bennett Dunlop with a knot in my stomach. Kurtis welcomed me immediately and remembered the the basics of what I had originally wanted in a truck. Never once did he mention the deal I killed previous, at all times he was polite, professional, personable and worked very hard to earn my business again. My wife and I were in the market for a specific truck and colour. Kurtis after calling numerous dealerships and hearing "NO" constantly continued calling around to find us our new truck. He brokered a deal with a dealership that he has never traded with before to ensure we got the exact truck. He never gave up and never pushed us to do what was easiest for him like doing a factory order. He promptly answered any questions regardless or how dumb they were. He even arranged for delivery of our truck before the date promised. We were prepared to sign papers and return the next day to pick up but he managed to have Line-X squeeze our truck in so we could take it home the day we signed on the dotted line. Last week my vehicle decided to kick up a fuss just as I'd picked up my "Beyond the call of duty" describes the service I received at Bennett Dunlop. Last week my vehicle decided to kick up a fuss just as I'd picked up my son from the hospital leaving us both stranded miles from our home. I phoned Bennett Dunlop and within hours Kurtis arranged to have the vehicle repaired and delivered back to my home town. No small feat considering I live 90 kms outside of Regina!) Go somewhere else! I took in my van to have the rear brakes done and some bushings replaced on my front sway bar on a previous service order. I took it in about 10 in I took in my van to have the rear brakes done and some bushings replaced on my front sway bar on a previous service order. I took it in about 10 in the morning, without an appointment. They tried to push Ford bushings which were not in stock. and they wanted me to wait a day until they could order them in. The van is over 10 years old and a Ford bought new from their dealership. I inquired about aftermarket, but he didn t even want to try to find any, and insisted Ford was a superior product. I have gone other places and they offer you a choice of quality of part. Not here. As I was leaving, I told the advisor I wanted the aftermarket bushings because it was ridiculous to be with out my van overnight. The van was to be ready by 5pm. No calls in between. I arrive at the dealership at 5:30 pm to find my vehicle has not moved at all. I went in and was given the story that he forgot to change the pick up time on my workorder. "My bad" was the response. Then he promised me that the vehicle would be finished by 7pm. Having no more ride, I walked to a local store 4 blocks away to kill an hour and a half. Go back at 7pm only to find out that they did the brakes but got another story that the bolts were seized on the sway bar and had to order new ones from Ford, so they could not do it. I would have to come back again. This was not the first time to get bad service from Bennett but is going to be the last. I have driven Fords since I was 18, but no more. As sad as this sounds, Canadian Tire is better for service and respecting their customers than either Bennett Dunlop or Capital Ford, and I can walk home from there. More
