Got a call at about 4 and they were just starting so would not be picked up at 5. Had daughter pick me up and decided to leave car there over night. Roger was very nice, prefer him over the usual young woman who is there. The other staff gave me some tips about scratched wind shield and this helped. Next time I will not tell them they can have car for the day, Also, they asked about rotating tires and I told them this was just done in spring. Why is that needed? Was told it needed new wipers and I agreed but this was not really needed. Total for the 90 km was nearly $700. Good thing I had the $500 emission rebate.....I find VW very expensive and will start going to another shop since my warranty is done. More
Oil change and other stuff Service was good. I have to be honest. It is difficult to be enthusiastic about anything related to Volkswagen while there is STILL NO RESOLUTION to Service was good. I have to be honest. It is difficult to be enthusiastic about anything related to Volkswagen while there is STILL NO RESOLUTION to compensation related to my 2010 Golf TDI (VW emissions scandal). So yes, the people working at the dealership did their jobs well but I can't see me ever buying a VW product again. The US owners of the TDI vehicles are all straightened away. Why not Canada? Just leaves a bad taste when I think about it. More

To be honest, if I had another option I would probably not have returned. I came back for regular maintenance service and found the new service department to be a pleasant surprise. Roger was efficient and provided updates as requested. When my car was not able to be finished in time Roger provided me with a loaner (not a rental) which meant I did not have to waste any extra time. I would recommend Roger as a service advisor. More

Oil change detail Performed a routine 30k service after service car running a little less rpm at idel which is good. They also took care of front end noise which was covered by warranty and lubed the sunroof. Had a detail done but for the price I didn't think it came out clean enough as there is smears on dash and interior doors. So learning this going forward vw Barrie will do the service on car but detail be done elsewhere. More

no fix, no customer service. I was very disappointed with my whole experience at Barrie Volkswagon. I was and am still having a problem starting my 2014 Golf TDI Wagon. When I cal I was very disappointed with my whole experience at Barrie Volkswagon. I was and am still having a problem starting my 2014 Golf TDI Wagon. When I called on August 13 to book an appointment for has this problem felt with I was told that they could look at it that day. So I drove from my home in Collingwood to Barrie an waited a short time for the techs to investigate only to be told that my cart would need further testing and could I bring it back on Monday. I live in Collingwood so a trip to barrie and back burns up at 2 hours of my time and when I have to drop a car that means some one else's time as well. I was not offered a ride or another vechicle. I dropped the car of on Sunday night. Tuesday I was told the they cold find nothing wrong with the car and I could come and picket up. I managed to get a ride to Barrie the following Friday. When I picked up the keys and paid the bill there was very little comment from the service manage. Nothing to indicate that I should even bring it back should the problem persist. the very next day as I was heading out of town for a work assignment I stopped in to grab a pice of pizza for a much on the go and the car refused to start. I returned that night and managed to get it to start after about half an hour. It has constantly refused to start several times since. Am I expected to continue to live with a car like this? I was also told point blank that there would be no warranty. Just over 80,000 kilometres, all service as required, bought the car at this dealership and they were unwilling to cut me some slack. I am very unhappy with the way I have been left. This is my first Volkswagon and I really like the car and when I replace this one where will I buy? Because I worked a couple of blocks from Dixie Volks I had most of my service and repairs done there. You guys could take a lesson from Rico and his crew. Great service, knowledgeable staff and ready to give you break to help you along the way. I have done some research an I now suspect that a little water in the intake manifold might be the problem. Maybe your tech checked and maybe you did"t, I have no way of knowing as your tech told me very little. I did enjoy the coffee and muffin while I waited for the car on that first visit so I must thank you for that as well as the wifi so that I could get some work done. not a very ergonomic work station though. More
