Trade in appraisal I was to see them on January 16 with my 2008 Rav 4 Sport, which is in good condition and has just 182k on it. Black in colour, tinted windows and moon I was to see them on January 16 with my 2008 Rav 4 Sport, which is in good condition and has just 182k on it. Black in colour, tinted windows and moonroof. I am the second owner and according to Carproof, there have been no accidents with the vehicle. There are a few minor bumps on it, but simple and easy to fix, especially for a dealership. My vehicle is well maintained, and I had all my records etc. Also, the windshield needs to be replaced, but again not much off their overhead to do. I was not looking for more than 5500.00 for the trade, and was considering an as is 2005 Matrix. The manager who appraised my vehicle offered me 2000.00. He was so very arrogant and would not consider offering more. I said, thanks, but I will keep the car. I am certain that it would have went on the lot in the 9500.00 range. Swindlers. The young sales rep was a great fella though, but the manager, sheesh. More
Arrogant, dishonest, incompetent My Toyota Corolla is a lemon car. Every time they gave me "explanations" and advice but never fixed the problem. Because they do not know what causes the constant vibration or they do not want to fix it, waiting for the warranty to expire and then charge me big $$$ Last time I brought the car into service to replace the clutch cylinder ( by the way, a clutch made of plastic!!!) the windshield got cracked. The Dealer tried to convince me that I brought the car in with the windshield already cracked and they did not do anything to cause it. Really, they just looked at the glass and it cracked?? I asked the Dealer to replace the windshield at their cost because it happened while the car was with them. They made me wait about two months only to tell me that as a gesture of goodwill, I have to pay $2 to have the windshield replaced. Why would I pay for it? Why don't they just admit that the car was mishandled, take responsibility and end the game! All staff at Mendes Toyota is arrogant, they treat you like you are there to ruin their day. I owned six cars but none was as bad as this Toyota Corolla! I would not recommend the car, I would not recommend the brand and I would not recommend the Dealer! More

The worst treatment ever I received by a sales person and the sale manager, they are still using 20th century tactics, let me go talk the manager, 10 mn waiting, hidden fee's, rudeness, making you feel that you owe them something and they are doing you a favor selling you a car, the sale manager told me " if you do not change your attitude I am not selling you the car" I told him actually " if he does not change his attitude I am not buying a car, because I am the one paying his salary not the opposite. To show you how bad it is, he offered my wife to come back next day without me and he will give her a 2000$ rebate and we refused...just think about that.... More

Extremely rude attitude and lying to their teeth. I just wonder what kind of service they offer after you buy a car, I do not want to picture that. They posted a car at 9989$, I went and talked to a sales person and she checked the price was 9989$, this was at 4p, I checked the car it was in the process of being cleaned. Brought my wife next day at 10am and was told that the price now is 10989$ and the sales manager told me bluntly that he can fix what ever price he want but he is going to make me a favor and honor the price printed from yesterday, yes he is making me a favor.....I asked what else in the price and was told 9989$ plus taxes plus plate fees and NO NEGOTIAON price is firm since they made me a favor for 1000$. After trying the car and agreed to buy it, they came with an invoice with 9989$ plus taxes plus plates fees plus 400$ maintenance fee and 490$ security fees. I asked what is that and Massoud told me that is mandatory and I have to pay them, I told him NO it is not mandatory and i will buy the car only if he take those away, he said NO and i said ok I am not buying the car, so the nice sales person mr massoud told me that I am rude, impolite and arrogant and this is a negotiation and we might agree on the price if we negotiate, I told him as you told me at the begging yourself, there is no negotiation and the price is firm, The sale manager was also so nice and polite he kept reminding me about the big favor he made me to honor his price from yesterday and that I was not nice to recognise his huge favor for 1000$. They tell you that they have a car proof and that the car was never in an accident but they don't disclose that the car was in a bad shape and they covered it up and did a quick paint on it. You get to find that out later as the new paint starts to wear off and the rust comes through, then you will find out that it had a cheap coat of paint. When I asked the salesperson and the sales manager why there is a paint over-spray they pretended that they do not know and that is how the car was when they took it on a trade. They will tell you that they will do their best to take care of the problem. NEVER TRUST MENDES AGAIN. Once you're out of the door, customer service comes to an end. They tell you, DON'T WORRY, GIVE US FEW DAYS, They promise but do not deliver. The place has the most unprofessional business ethics. All you get from this place is nothing but promises, promises they don’t keep. BEWARE. Buying from them is nothing but NIGHTMARE. More
