Ordered an air conditioning compressor for our 2000 Camry. After a month of waiting we cancelled the order. Within 20 minutes we had two phones calls from Mendes- the first from the parts Dept informi Camry. After a month of waiting we cancelled the order. Within 20 minutes we had two phones calls from Mendes- the first from the parts Dept informing us the part was in & if we cancelled we would have to prepay any future parts and that they would be non-returnable. The second from the Service manager informing us the compressor had been in for two weeks and offering us a reduced price on the work. We will never go back. More

Called Mendes for service, advised them I have a Prius, and it was imported from America to Canada, I told them I needed to have my passenger lights replaced and my tire valve adjusted (adjusting the tire valve was free when I had it done in Quebec). Then I asked them because it was an American imported car, is there anything special that they had to do before I came in, or that I had to do, and they said no, not a thing. So, I go in for service. I got there at 7:30 am. at almost 11:30, they called me and told me that the light bulbs I needed are an imported item, and they do not have it in stock and it will cost over 300.00 for the bulb, and also, to adjust the tire valve, it would cost over 120.00. I asked them why, it has taken over 2 hours to tell me this, (my appointment was at 9:00 although I got there early). And also told them I have had lights replaced here in Canada before at another Toyota and it was under 100.00, and the adjustment of the tire stem was free. They would only answer sorry. I told them I would take my business somewhere else and left. Also, You don't want to use their restrooms, they are filthy, with the toilet holder falling off the wall. When I reported it, they told me oh we know, we were having problems with it yesterday too, and the waiting room furniture looked like Salvation Army rejects don't wear good clothing there! More
