The two Finance Officers; Sonny & Garth were amazing with their time, patience with our many questions! But by far the most amazing "sales" representative is "Fayez" as this young & very respectful individual goes well over & beyond client service! Fayez makes you feel at home & customer care is his absolute specialty where he gives you a bumper to bumper analysis of your vehicle with calm -cool - professionalism & patience! By far the best sales representative in my history & I highly suggest Fayez as your go to guy at Bank Street Kia- you will not be disappointed! Thank you Fayez for a wonderful experience! Kia Canada required us to use a certain tow company that would tow it only to their dealership. Kia had my car for two weeks, and never updated me on progress unless I went to the shop. Upon being told my vehicle was completed I went to pick it up and drove it around the block only to find my mirrors didn't work and the alignment was off and had not been previously. I took the vehicle back and they then notified me that they forgot to plug the mirrors back in, and that the alignment was not their fault and that the tow company possibly knocked the alignment off. Upon notifying them that Kia Canada made me use the towing company, then it should still be repaired. The dealership continued to fight and refuse to repair the damage they caused. The vehicle went in because it had electrical issues, and came back with new problems they refuse to take responsibility for. If you have a problem look for another mechanic! More
Kia Sedona 2009 Dealer (Dilawri Bank St. KIA, Ottawa, ON). Owned since new, bought with extended warranty 8 yr / 110,000 km. V6 3.8L engine is expensive on gas, Dealer (Dilawri Bank St. KIA, Ottawa, ON). Owned since new, bought with extended warranty 8 yr / 110,000 km. V6 3.8L engine is expensive on gas, but it rides well on the highway. In general its a comfortable ride, but the reliability and durability is not there. The van didn’t had any issues in the first 4 years of ownership, apart from regular maintenance always at the dealer. The extended warranty was a good investment, I have used it fully, with multiple "free" repairs over the years, including, AC compressor, steering and suspension components. Service #5 (Around 60,000 Km. / Year 4) is expensive, including full brake job, costing around $1200. Multiple problems with sliding doors freezing shut during winter. First strike was a misdiagnosed engine problem (Winter 2014), that at the end was due to the after market alarm. In hindsight, its never worth it to buy a car, and then add an after market alarm, difficult experience with Future Shop (They are gone now, and I understand why), its better to buy the car with an original security system. Car simply stopped starting, called CAA, to jump battery, which was not the case. At the end, towed to the dealer, which spent 4 days and $900 to verify everything, couldn’t find anything wrong with the vehicle, and returned it with the alarm disabled. Later in the summer, I downloaded the manual for the alarm, and verified the reset sequence from the remote. Re-enabled the alarm by plugging in a fuse and reset the alarm. Everything worked. 30 minutes of internet research, and 15 minutes playing with the remote. The van started not to age well after a repair on the rear left sliding door (Summer 2016), power window stopped working. Misdiagnosed at the dealer as the motor fault, turned to be the wiring harness. The harness is so expensive that KIA doesn’t sell it, that forced the technicians to "repair" it, although I am convinced that it was bypassed, since now there are exposed wires under the door. The door was taken apart for the repair and after that noise isolation was gone, and the door didn’t adjust properly. Complained to KIA Canada, to no avail, they trust that the dealer will attempt the best repair under the circumstances. Last repair (winter 2017) was a blown radiator, loss of coolant, engine overheated. Took it to the dealer, paid for the repair since according to them it was not covered ($800). Worked directly with the warranty provider, and it ended up being covered, they simply never called the warranty, even after explicitly requesting it. Van is now 8 years old / 100,000 km. After the years and the last two repairs, I have lost trust in the car reliability and the dealer, second guessing their troubleshooting and repair quality, added to very poor service on the sales floor. I didn’t want to buy another KIA (or any other car) from the Dilawri network. More
Poor service They don't give a damm and of course it's never, never their fault. Setting up an appointment is not easy. You never know for which garage you're boo They don't give a damm and of course it's never, never their fault. Setting up an appointment is not easy. You never know for which garage you're book in and when to verify, there's nothing under your name and politeness is certainly not their trade mark. Even if my 2016 Kia is fine, I'll never, never buy a Kia again, More

The salesman(Faiz) and the salesmanager (Bob) were both very friendly and helpful, also we dealt with Sonny the finance manager, who was helpful, honest and reasonable. We walked out of the dealership feeling like we got a fair deal, and we were able to get it for within our budget. We picked the car up a few days later and it was thoroughly cleaned, and ready to go. More
Bad experience When I bought my brand new Kia Rio LX two years ago the experience was a good one. However, I've had problems with my car and my service with bank When I bought my brand new Kia Rio LX two years ago the experience was a good one. However, I've had problems with my car and my service with bank street Kia since my purchase. One appointment to top up my oil resulted in the oil being overfilled. Shortly after, a new problem developed and my car started over heating. I brought it strait to Kia (as I was instructed) and they claimed to have fixed the problem. They charged me for their services (I am under warranty). I tried to argue my case with no luck. To top it off, I soon found out that my car was in fact not fixed and once again I found myself stranded on the side of the road in rush hour due to an over heating car. I brought it in again twice after that with the same problem, and got the same outcome. They claimed the issue was resolved, charged me, and sent me on my way. After 3 separate visits to fix the same problem (including charges), I finally brought my car to a different dealership (North Bay Kia) for them to have a look. They found and fixed the problem within a half hour, replaced all the parts that had blown from my car over heating during the span of multiple months, free of charge (as I am under warranty). They told me that it was a simple and common problem they see in new Rio models (malfunction in cooling fan resistor). The staff at North Bay Kia were astounded at the poor service I had received at Bank Street Kia and told me I should never have been charged for the services pertaining to my car over heating as I am under warranty. Thus I do not recommend buying a Kia vehicle nor getting your car serviced at Dilawri Bank Street Kia. More
Come with your requirements and budget and stick to them Bank Street Kia offers top notch and respectful car buying experiences. Come with your feature requirements and budget and stick to them; the sales st Bank Street Kia offers top notch and respectful car buying experiences. Come with your feature requirements and budget and stick to them; the sales staff will be respectful of these things. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento at Bank Street Kia approximately 6 months ago. We decided to trade in our Corolla for a new vehicle this week. We started at 417 Nissan while looking at the Nissan Rogue and had the worse buying experience we’ve ever experienced; we walked away after being disrespected by the salesmen (I wrote a detailed 1 star review of 417 Nissan on their Google Listing). We decided to give Bank Street Kia another go since my wife was very interested in the 2016 Kia Soul. When we arrived late in the evening, we were already worked up from many hours of dealing and being disrespected at 417 Nissan, but when Vin at Bank Street Kia greeted us, he immediately gave us the sense that we would not be getting there same treatment there. We were not pressured or rushed even though it was getting late and the dealership was closing in an hour and a half. He was calm and walked us through the steps he would take to ensure that we got into a vehicle that met our feature requirements as well as our budget. After only a few minutes, we were relaxed and having a bottle of water and looking at our vehicle options while our Corolla was being appraised. We went over our budget and found the vehicle that could meet it. We test drove and were back about 20 minutes later to discuss pricing and payments. Vin, as well as the Manager were respectful of our budget. Their offer was a bit higher than what we expected, but in the end we agreed on payments that were very beneficial to us (more to us than them, especially since we had some negative equity on the trade in). By 9:30PM we signed a deal for the EXACT vehicle that fit our needs and budget. I returned the following day to finalize the paper work and we’ll be picking up the new vehicle tomorrow. There is a reason why people return time and time again to purchase vehicles from brands and stores they trust. Bank Street Kia got our business and will have it again when it’s time for an upgrade. Thanks again to Vin, for being so polite and professional and to the staff at Bank Street Kia. More
Rude and wrong info I called to set up my appointment with Bank Street Kia. When asking what time the shuttle is at, the guy said there was no specific time. Just come an I called to set up my appointment with Bank Street Kia. When asking what time the shuttle is at, the guy said there was no specific time. Just come and we will get you in a shuttle. I figured it changed again, so why bother questioning it. Upon arrival, the man at the service counter was not friendly at all. I asked him to call me when something was looked at, and he treated me like I was wasting his time. "Why not just fix it." He said. Please just give me a call. "Ok" he responded while basically rolling his eyes. Finally, I said I would like to take the shuttle to work. He told me that the next one would be in an hour, I was shocked. I told him the guy on the phone told me there were no specific times. His only response was. "That's not what it is. You'll have to wait till the next one" I almost canceled my appointment right there, but they have my winter tires... I will no longer be bringing my car here for service. PS. They also berade you with phone calls and text messages which becomes quite the nuisance. More
