I came in to Bank Street Kia about 2 weeks ago to look into the purchase of a Kia Soul. I sat down with a sale associate and after 2 or more long hours, I was as confused as when I came in and felt that into the purchase of a Kia Soul. I sat down with a sale associate and after 2 or more long hours, I was as confused as when I came in and felt that there was no way I could comfortably permit myself a new vehicle. I have money and savings but I was unsure if I wanted to deplete that nest egg or continue driving my current car. I left the dealership with the thought that I'd be waiting longer to get into my "dream car". A few days later I received a call from Sayid. I am a very busy person and I do not have hours to spend in a dealership. More so, I tend to be uncomfortable in high-pressure sales situations. I began communicating with Sayid via email. We went back and forth for close to 2 days and probably over a hundred emails - Sayid patiently answered ALL of my questions (and I KNOW I am a demanding customer - I've worked in sales and in front line customer service for many years and I ask a LOT of questions before I make a decision). Sayid never lost patience with me, he promptly answered every question, some questions two or three times and after a lot of hard work, he showed me that a lease (which I wasn't originally considering) was my best option and we were able to get to a deal that I was very comfortable with but MORE IMPORTANTLY, he helped make a fearful and confused customer into much more educated and informed consumer. Sayid really dealt to my concerns in an excellent manner and you give car salesmen something to strive for. I've never owned/leased a Kia and as have not picked up my car yet I can't 100% say that I will again BUT, the next time I need a car, he'll be my first call. Thank you Sayid - you made my first trip into the new car world a great experience and I will HIGHLY recommend you to everyone I know. More
I was in about 1 week ago to negotiate a deal for a kia Sorento. Not knowing anything about the packages, just loving the look of the vehicle i was a little bit scared because i wasnt given the best deal o Sorento. Not knowing anything about the packages, just loving the look of the vehicle i was a little bit scared because i wasnt given the best deal on my current car and i didnt want to go through the same thing. I was pleased i met someone who knew enough about the cars to make me feel confident. And Sayed Who helped me make sence of my cars value and of how much a new Sorento is going to really change my family's budget. Frank made sure the bank and me both liked what was going on ;), and i was all done. I picked up my new car today and i am sooooo happy i found someone to help me buy a car, instead of trying to sell it to me. Thanks you guys again More
I went to Kia with my wife to look for a new car. O'day Sarhan greeted us and was friendly enough, and I'll admit I was not familiar with the Kia lineup. We told him our needs and the first two cars he sho Sarhan greeted us and was friendly enough, and I'll admit I was not familiar with the Kia lineup. We told him our needs and the first two cars he showed us were completely inappropriate. Finally we agreed to go for a test drive in a third car and after some time he came back and off we went, only he drove. We drove for at least 10 minutes with no signs of him giving up the wheel. Finally we told him to turn around as we were not overly impressed with the car and less with him, though we did not say so. The drive back was mostly silent and he was clearly annoyed. When I said that we might be interested in a different model, he told us he had an appointment and would not have time. This was not a positive experience to say the least and in the end we did not buy a Kia. More

We've gone to other dealerships like Toyota & Chevy for quotes and test drives, they were good, but not great. We had Kia next then Hyundai on the horizon, let's just say we never made it to Hyundai cause Kia was amazing. Everything from service to price, they went above and beyond to make this purchase a memorable one and we can't wait to go there again for whatever reason, we pretty much got along like best friends :) . We'll definitely refer other people to them. -------UPDATED REVIEW------- Keep in mind that the previous review only applies until the day we gave a 5 star rating and posted the original review. So I'll try and be brief in my rant,(LOL) before this becomes a trilogy on its own. We were supposed to get a trunk liner for the Optima Hybrid, but only found out on the day we were picking up the vehicle that Kia didn't make it yet, no biggie, they would give us the difference back + our deposit via a cheque in the mail. It took 2 weeks for us to get that cheque in spite of being told 3-5 business days. In that time, a payment for the vehicle I traded to Kia, the one they were suppose to pay off, went through. So now I just lost 200$. No phone call was ever made to advise me of the error. Obviously they hadn't paid off the old car yet. But silly me I only noticed this 3 weeks into having this new car, when a second payment went through, then I had to backtrack. So 2 payments went through on a vehicle that should've been paid off almost a month ago! Their reply was that the bank didn't approve their cheque because of a bigger difference in the amount owing. I was told that this cheque came back and they resent it no questions asked without adjusting the amount. They told me the bank was being fussy over a 10$ difference but in reality it was more. So no digging on their part. When I went to the bank to get the RIGHT info, they said they sent the cheque back TWICE, because of their ignorance, I suffered. The best part of all is that I got the run around from them, refusing to pay me the 403$ for those 2 payments and that it was the BANK's responsibility for refunding my money. Even better, the bank loan that needed to be paid off was located right across the street, but they mailed it to Toronto the first time, then actually went to the branch itself the second time (with the wrong amount owing) keeping in mind that interest builds daily and 2 payments went through already. OMG indeed. So when I finally made my way down there to get this settled, Ralf or Ralph in financing told us it would take 2 more days to get our 403$ back, because the owner had to approve a difference of 15$???. This is on a thursday. He told us that the car would be paid off that day. Now that i've developed a liason at the bank, I was given a call saying it was finally paid off, THE NEXT DAY!?? So not really fast and efficient on their part. So 2 days later I call to find out where my 403$ is hiding and the manager had taken over the issue and promised me a 5 star service. He was going to deliver the cheque to me at my house. I don't live far. I wanted to come that day and pick it up but he wanted to deliver it.... on MONDAY 12pm!!! Fed up even more than I was before he wasn't budging. MONDAY ---- Call Kia at 1220pm. The manager from before Sayid Kaddage just got out of a meeting regarding my situation, saying the cheque is on it's way, how long? 30min. no problem. 130pm.... no cheque. Call, leave message. Call is returned by 215pm. Sayid tells me, that the guy who's delivering the cheque is leaving in 10min. 305pm the guy finally shows up!!! I live 20min away?? Never again will I go to this location, great car, horrible experience. This review is not directed at the sales associate who helped us Charbel Abillama, he was amazing!! This review goes out to Ralph in financing and the manager of this Kia Dealership, Sayid Kaddage. Apparently I wasn't important anymore once the papers were signed and the rating was given. Sad. I had recommended this place to friends and family but now I have to take back everything I said. PS. Icing on the cake was getting the cheque and looking at the date on it... written on the friday!! the day after i went in and 3 days before i got it delivered. Warms my heart. -------ANOTHER UPDATE------ Everything from entering the building to picking up the vehicle was great. There was a couple of things wrong with the detail of the car but i'm not picky with that sort of thing, those are minor. Money on the other hand is a different story. "Now based on an accounting error, all this is forgotten". Not forgotten, but this is an OVERALL review, hence the updates. You guys started off strong but were a letdown at the end. You didn't "Step up to the plate" at all, really only corrected the problem at your own pace. Regardless of who's fault it is, your dealership was still responsible for the outcome. Admitting it would be the first step, not covering your tracks hoping it doesn't blow up. I was told to be honest in my review/rating, as per the manager. For all the readers out there, you'll be interested to know that I got a phone call from Ralph (Financing) 2 days after my "updated review". I was surprised with the call but also curious. Now after that review, you'd think that any dealership would say something along the lines like, "I'd like to apologize (on behalf of the company) for how everything turned out at the end, we appreciate your business as a customer and we're gonna make it up to you in some way, shape or form." Something like that? The call that I got went something like this, "I just read your review and saw that my name was implicated? Why would you do that? I did my best, I took an hour of my time to try and resolve this issue, I had lots of other work to do that day. So I don't understand why you would do that?" Let's just say he was persistent for an answer, I told him it was in the review, but a circled conversation was starting. So unimpressed with the call, I asked him if anyone knew he was placing this call, "No", was the answer. So I hung up. Am I wrong to believe that I didn't need a call like that, after this experience? Finally giving me the money that was owed hardly qualifies, especially when blame was directed at the bank and "they" are responsible for refunding you the money withdrawn. Hello? The only thing the bank is doing... is sitting and waiting until someone pays off the loan, they have no idea of any deals being made in the process and completely oblivious that a payout is on the way. But go ahead, take 3 weeks to pay it off while I legally own 2 cars and drive only one. And please realize that had the money not been in the account, the money that wasn't even supposed to come out of the account those two times, I would have had 2 NSF charges on my file. As a homeowner, I am well aware of the implications of an NSF charge, let alone two of them back to back. All I ask is that you take greater care of your customers because we leave our money and our credit in your hands and that's not something to be fooled around with. More
There are times in life when the right ingredients come together to fabricate a relationship that is very comfortable from the start. I called several dealers in Ottaw; all but one, Bank Street KIA, had th together to fabricate a relationship that is very comfortable from the start. I called several dealers in Ottaw; all but one, Bank Street KIA, had the famous "let's dance" line, "well, come in to see us." I haven't got time to come in; I just want answers and direct figures to study BEFORE I visit. Sarah Hattab first spoke to me in March; I bought my Sorento SX in August. During those 5 months, I spoke with Sarah 4 times and each time was so friendly: no rush, ho fuss and no nonsense. I god answers promptly and figures that made sense. NO other dealer I approached made any attempt to speak at length over the telephone. Once I visited Bank Street KIA< I knew what I was looking for and they knew what i needed. Could it get better? YES! It got better with my trade in, my tight budget and their commitment to seeing we explored every avenue before we made any decision. The manager, Said Kaddage took a personal interest and helped with9out pushing - the sale was secondary, it seemed - my requirements were up front. This is all true and the finance man, Hassan, was right "on the money" (excuse the pun). Try this dealership - I am sure you won't be disappointed. More
Top notch friendly service. Sales agent was informative, making it easy for me to choose and understand what I was purchasing. I'm happy with my new car, thanks Kia! Marc G. making it easy for me to choose and understand what I was purchasing. I'm happy with my new car, thanks Kia! Marc G. More
