We started as customers at Bank Street Kia in 1999 with the purchase of a Sportage. Following that purchase we have upgraded several times, with purchases of 2 Sedonas and most recently a Rio. When we first went to this dealership they showed a genuine interest for the customer and strived to meet or exceed expectations. Quality of the Kias in the early years left a lot to be desired, but the friendly and professional service more than made up for it. In recent years there was a complete change of staff at the dealership, and while the quality of the vehicles has greatly improved, the customer service, especially in sales, is now terrible. I could go through all the issues we have had, but “dishonesty” would adequately sum it up. We decided last year to give this dealership one last chance, and traded in our Sedona for a Rio, and after what the salesperson had assured us would be a "painless process with a great price", turned out to be a long drawn out battle to get a fair price for our trade in, and a mediocre deal on a new Kia, we will never buy a car from this dealership again. More

We purchased an Optima in 2012. The purchase experience was surprisingly enjoyable. The sales staff was very knowledgeable about the product and appeared more concerned with ensuring our needs were met th was surprisingly enjoyable. A year a half later, I am still very happy with my purchase including all the options we chose. We've had the car serviced at the dealership since we bought it and found the service staff to be very capable. Over, this dealership's commitment to high quality service is very much appreciated. Bought my 2012 Rio at Bank Street Kia, and have also been getting it serviced there. So far, have been getting awesome service every time I'm in, usually performed in a very reasonable timeframe. They always explain what's wrong (if they find anything) before doing any work, along with options on how to proceed, which is always appreciated. Twice it took much longer than usual, but they made it up to me via a discount on my next servicing, so no problem there. Phil is especially pleasant to deal with in the service department. I even bring my '96 Corolla in for servicing - they don't just fix Kias here! Oil change package is an especially-good deal! I usually have to wait there in the waiting room each time, but they've taken care of that too - they have a pleasant waiting room with complementary coffee and a TV to watch.. makes the time fly by. I'll be going here for the foreseeable future. More

People at Bank Street Kia have been great to me. At 61 I bought my very first NEW car (last year). I love my KIA. Moe and Sarah were very patient and courteous as my wife and I often changed our minds as to which KIA model to purchase. At no time did we feel pressure from them or bothersome despite the may questions we and I often changed our minds as to which KIA model to purchase. General Manager Goran was extremely helpful and thoughtful in ensuring we got a good deal with as many perks as possible. Pat in credit was also very thorough in explaining the contract details although at times he was too rushed and very busy, meaning we could have used a little more time with him to go over some of the issues, which at times were communicated too fast ! Overall, my rating of the dealer is high and my assessment good. However, my view of the manufacturer KIA; its corporate image and the conduct of its senior mangers in Toronto, including its VP Customer Care (Maria Soklis) and Director of Marketing(Robert Staffieri), I would rank them low, downright unprofessional, and callous for their dismissive and arrogant manner in dealing with a previous KIA auto I purchased which got linked to the purchase of the current KIA Optima I recently acquired in September. These 2 people particularly are out of step with modern corporate practice in Canada in the way they intentionally isolated themselves from being reached or dealing with the problem at hand. Unlike, other major Canadian companies Bell; RBC; The Bay, these 2 KIA managers chose to hide themselves from consumers who thru car purchases, pay their salaries. Can you believe a VP of Customer Care and a Director of Marketing, in today's retail world, hiding behind their job title for fear of having to deal with their customers who pay their Xmas bonus!
