Went to have change oil service done as covered by the warranty. Requested for a brake check as was told by another dealership that my brakes were sticking up when I went to have my tires swapped and that warranty. Requested for a brake check as was told by another dealership that my brakes were sticking up when I went to have my tires swapped and that they could fix it with a cost. I told them that I would have to check first with Hyundai on Bank street since I am going to have my complementary change oil service as well. When I went to have it done, I was given an estimate of $325 but ended up paying atleast $400. No explanations, just told "this is what you are paying for the service". I then asked what would have caused the brake pads from sticking up, the staff from the service dept then told me that everytime I have it serviced, that I should also get a service #1 as well. It made me think that everytime I went to get service done that they don't really do the required checks but just put check marks on the paper to make it look like they did. If I would have known I would be charged extra for an "extended warranty", I could have gone to that other dealership as they were upfront, charged no extra cost for brake inspection. Here I was thinking of upgrading mine into buying a plug-in hybrid soon and also buying my wife a new one as well from them. This made me think of not purchasing another Hyundai from this dealership after this. Good thing this happened.. now time to find a new honest dealership. More

This dealership layers on all the fake fees such as $500 “which is applied toward a pool of funds for detailing and Uber rides to the dealer” and all kinds of other crap. They were not prepared to negotiate fairly and barely acknowledged the margins they make on financing, holdback, floor plan, and advertising. They simply didn’t want to negotiate, but it was the fake fees that really made me feel uncomfortable. More
