I called to make a appointment for my car to be serviced, as the engine light kept coming on and it kept misfiring. I was told by the person on the general phone line that I shouldn't send it until the engin as the engine light kept coming on and it kept misfiring. I was told by the person on the general phone line that I shouldn't send it until the engine light was on consistently, as they couldn't diagnose it otherwise. When I said that this likely meant I would have to break down in order for my car to be fixed, he said that if that had to happen for the light to be on, then yes. I did. Eventually it got to a point where the engine light was flashing, meaning I could no longer safely drive the car. I had it towed to Bank Street Hyundai. They looked at it even faster than they had promised, and called to tell me it was fixed - that there had been evidence of rodents in the engine, and that they had cleared that up and fixed the wiring. I paid, picked up my car and drove off, only to have it misfire and the engine light flash again, no joke, within 5 minutes of driving off the lot. I called to ask whether I should bring it back. but nobody answered. I left a message asking them to call me back urgently. They never returned my call. A week later (the next time I drove it because I had been away), I made a short trip to the store, and it nearly didn't make it. It misfired several times and lost power, engine light flashing. I called the following morning and reached them. I asked for an explanation. They couldn't give me one. They said I should bring it back in and they'd fix it. I asked if that was true, since they clearly hadn't fixed the problem the first time I brought it in. The advisor said I could take it somewhere else if I wanted, it was my car, and that I was just talking in circles. He told me they stood by their work, and that if it was the same problem, they'd fix it for free. I had to have it towed to them again, as I tried driving it there and it kept misfiring with the engine light flashing in the first block. After that, I heard nothing for days. Eventually, they called to say they had found the problem they had missed the last time - a harness and some fuel injectors - and would look at it 'on Tuesday'. I asked how much this would cost, and they told me it would be about $1000. They said they would try to give me a discount of 50%, and I said I'd definitely come back to them again, if they stood by their work like they said they would and gave me that discount. Tuesday came and went, and I heard nothing, so I called back. They put me on hold, then hung up. I called back again, a little frustrated at this point. They said the part hadn't come in, and when I suggested this was something that should have been communicated to me, they hung up on me after saying it would be there on Wednesday. They did not call Wednesday. Or Thursday. This morning (Friday) I called them to request an update. I asked for Gary Medeiros, apparently my advisor. He got on the line and said "Did Scott not call you? I'll try to get him for you." At this point, I'm assuming Scott is the mechanic. They transferred me to him, and he didn't answer. I was transferred to his voicemail. I decided not to leave a message, but to call back. I got Gary on the phone and asked how much this would cost, and I was told it would be about $1000, in addition to the $528.28 I paid the first time they claimed to have fixed it. When I inquired about the discount they had talked about last time, Gary told me that it wasn't him I had spoken to, and that there was 'no such thing as a 50%" discount in their system. I reminded him that he had said they stood by their work, and that this was the same problem. He told me it was a different part that had to be installed, so it's not the same problem. I noted that if the same codes appear on the paperwork this time that appeared last time, it's the same problem that they didn't fix last time. At this point, I was given short shrift by Gary, who said the part had only been installed this morning, and that it still had to be road tested and Scott would call me when that was done. I went back to pick up my car that day, and though I was angry, Scott explained that he had discounted the cost of the repairs as much as possible, and that he and Gary had worked very hard to find the solution to the problem and fix the car for me. I paid $778.74 to get my car back, and left, assuring Scott that he would not be hearing from me again, and that his efforts had stopped me posting this review. I'm so tired of dealing with misogynistic men who don't feel they need to explain themselves to a woman, even though she's the one who owns the car and is paying for the work. I didn't post the review. Then, last night, the 3rd time I've driven it a short distance since leaving, the same thing happened and it broke down again. I had it towed to a place where they know what they're doing and where they don't talk down to me. Thanks for nothing, Bank St. Hyundai. More
5 stars across the board! !!! Having never dealt with Hyundai in the past I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment we walked into Bank Street Hyundai we were greeted by !!! Having never dealt with Hyundai in the past I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment we walked into Bank Street Hyundai we were greeted by Ali and he was fantastic! Answered questions, showed us all the options we had for a hybrid vehicle. Took us on a test drive with the Tucson and we liked it right away. Ordered one in May and received it in August! Even our dealings with Ernesto in finance was fantastic…the entire team there was terrific and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We have dealt with many dealerships over the past 20 years and have received good service, but I would recommend this dealership without hesitation! Kim P. More

The sales manager is disrespectful. The bank street location needs a new leader! I hope the owner does something about this mess I went through! The bank street location needs a new leader! I hope the owner does something about this mess I went through! More
