I'm very disappointed with their services. I brought my car in to check the potential leaking of my tire and I have the tire road hazard coverage plan. At the end, I got charged over $350, whi I brought my car in to check the potential leaking of my tire and I have the tire road hazard coverage plan. At the end, I got charged over $350, which is more than 93% of the listed tire price. They said it represented the thread usage. However, this is a two year old car with about 47k km. I have no idea how they came up with this number and the invoice didn't indicate what the issue was with my tire. The road hazard plan costed me more than 3k. If you think about buying a Hyundai car, please be very careful about the plans that they sell you. They are not transparent about how they honor the warranty. Update: Garry told me that Hyundai determined that they owed me 47.64 dollar store credit. However, he told me that he could not do cash refund because he could not request a refund through debit machine. His dealership (Dilawri) does not allow an access to that. This is ridiculous. So technically, they can overcharge you and at the same time make you stay with them. This is a SCAM. In addition, even with the 47.64 store credit, which is unfair to me, I still technically paid 75.8% of the tire (354.31+30-47.64)/(398.99+45), which is ridiculous since the tire is only two years old under normal usage. I also checked my first tire change with them and they charged me about 90% of the tire price, but that time the car was only at 4 months and 15km. With the road hazard protection plan that costs over 3k, which I believe is mostly relevant to tire coverage, your tire will need to break about 30 times to reach a breakeven point. The sales person added it to my contract without even explaining to me in detail of how this works. I also sent a compliant to the email included in the reply below about 5 days ago, and of course, no response. I am going to file a complaint to Hyundai Canada directly. Hyundai's cars are priced relatively low compared with competitors in its class, but they can grab your money through those black box services and useless plans. This dealership is very shady. Be careful! More
We purchased a 2020 toyota Rav4 from Bank st Hyundia in May. They told us that the car came with winter tires on rims. When we went to pickup the car our salesperson told us that the tires had been remove May. They told us that the car came with winter tires on rims. When we went to pickup the car our salesperson told us that the tires had been removed from the car and sent to storage. Weeks later and several calls by us to keep reminding them that we still had not received the winter tires. They eventually got them. Now that it is the fall we went to have winter tires put on the Rav4 and found out that the do not fit our car. I texted the salesperson we dealt with and he said those were the tires that came with the car with no solution offered. I emailed customer support and they have not bothered to respond. Very disappointing. Not sure where to turn to next. Ed Kennedy More
I found the SUV on auto trader, which turned out to be bank street Hyundai, so me and her friend went and I phoned ahead of time. I was late by an hour. They were very courteous at first. The salesman br bank street Hyundai, so me and her friend went and I phoned ahead of time. I was late by an hour. They were very courteous at first. The salesman brought it around and backed it in to a place so that might come out and have a look at it. When I came out, Bodie was standing at the rear of the vehicle and asked me to take a look around in the car, or I should say the SUV And I was very pleased in what I see And then, but he went around to the other side and stood beside the the. Rear of the passenger side, open the passenger door and ask me to look in and Inspect the interior which I did and I was very impressed. When were we finished looking at it? Under the hood and everything we went in and did all the paperwork. I was very happy. At the time, I was extremely happily. I should say and I'm very satisfied from what I had seen. I signed all the papers, everything went good until I walked out to the vehicle by myself and right where bodie was standing, there had been a bunch of scratches, the SUV I've been in an accident, and I didn't know what to do. My friend drove me there. And what do we went back to her place? I got out of the vehicle and walked around to the other side and 2. My surprise There was a big Dent in the other side. They had checked off on the paper. That this vehicle had no damage. And here I took it in a local g. MC dealer in Carlton place. To get a quote on how much the damage was.I'm still wading for it The young lad told me at beans. GMC dealership that the passenger back door would have to be replaced, and on the other side, the whole panel would have to be replaced. So right now is Friday, October 25th. And on Monday, I will get a written quote. From the auto body shop at a GMC dealership and when I get that quote, I will be putting it on here. Not only was there damage on both sides, but they tried to hide rust. The vehicle by painting it black, but rust stands out whether you're painted or not. They never did an oil change in it, the backup camera worked sometimes and when I confronted bank street. Hyundai general manager. I had talked to him over a couple days. About several things that were wrong. And I wanted to bring it back today. But to my surprise, you cannot do this taking it back. The general manager said he was going to contact his lawyer and see what his lawyer says. If I could take it back or not, but he never even offered to fix what they had hidden from me. Had they been honest about the damage I would not be as upset as I am right now. So word of advice to everybody when you're going to buy a used vehicle, make sure you get to see all of it. Do not trust anybody at bank street, Hyundai. I am not finished yet. Me, I'm like a pit bull. I'm going to see a lawyer. Take the paperwork with me. Edward says damage on the paper. They checked off no in 2 different spots. Right there? That's just plain fraud. I will see if I can get bank street. Hyundai, to fix both backup camera. On both sides of the vehicle at the rear, it's been my experience that when dealership sell used vehicles, they do a complete inspection safety and do an oil change. They did not do an oil change. I checked it when I got home. I know. I should've checked it at the dealership, and when I went out unseen. Please scratches on the back of the driver's side. I should've went back in then, not waited. A week live and learn. More
Avoid getting your car serviced there if you can. For both maintenance services (service 1,2,3) and for warranty work. Maintenance Services 1,2,3: If you have complimentary oil service with Bank For both maintenance services (service 1,2,3) and for warranty work. Maintenance Services 1,2,3: If you have complimentary oil service with Bank Street Hyundai that's great, do them there. But don't let them pressure you into getting all the other maintenance services (Service 1,2,3). They (and other dealerships) charge a ridiculous fee for regular maintenance services and pressure you into doing them there and will tell you if you don't that it will void your warranty. I was quoted over $500 for essentially a regular service plus break check and fuel injector (fuel injector cleaner is literally under 25$ if purchased yourself). That did not even include any repair/labor costs). You can go to a regular Mechanic to have those services performed and some things you can do yourself if you're comfortable (cabin air filters and such) without risking of voiding your warranty. Keep all your receipts of the work done. Warranty Services IF something needs to be replaced or repaired that is covered under your warranty, it MUST be completed AT a Hyundai garage. But you can have it done at an other location than here. My personal experience at this dealership has been pretty poor and in line with what others have said in other reviews. Sales guys are very pushy and stereotypically making huge promises they can't deliver on. They also pressure you borderline harass you into leaving them multiple reviews on Google and on Hyundai Canada etc. Service guys don't seem to care much about their customers. You're on their time not theirs. Doesn't matter if you booked a time to have your service done. Will pressure you to have other services and misinform their customer to make more money off customer's back. More
Will never buy a car again at bank street Hyundai. They added paint and fabric protection $1859 and mentioned at leased twice that I didn’t want it. Will bring them to small claims. If I could I would rate them a 0, Very disgraceful customer service. My 17 year old son bought this used car, within 2 months engine gone needs replaced, no help from dealership. Heated seat not wor customer service. My 17 year old son bought this used car, within 2 months engine gone needs replaced, no help from dealership. Heated seat not working since the day we picked it up, they said would compensate me, having seen anything yet. Is this how you treat your customers, especially a 17 year old. Can’t believe this dealership is still in business. No one should buy a vehicle from Bank Street Hyundai More

Ahmed, Joe and Mustafa, my salesperson, were exceptional in all regards. They very patiently, knowledgeably and joyfully addressed my numerous questions and concerns with no time restrictions, no pressure and no judgment whatsoever. Along with other folks at this dealership, they made me feel comfortable, confident and happy to be there. A special mention also goes out to Stephania, a most efficient receptionist. I strongly recommend Bank Street Hyundai. L.E.G. More
No idea where to begin. Just left the dealership in tears and absolute shock at the front desk team at service coutner. Went in for a oil change and walked out in tears fee Just left the dealership in tears and absolute shock at the front desk team at service coutner. Went in for a oil change and walked out in tears feeling belittled, picked on and laughed at. What should have been a 150$ job ended up xxxxxxx me into a 250$ job then the bill come to 400$. Eventually i was able to drop the bill to 300$ instead of 400$ (still not what i was quoted) When trying to figure out what happened to my bill it turns out they did my service 2 oil change ONTOP of a fuel injection service. I didn't want the fuel injection as it was included with my service. The coutner INSISTED I asked for it when I clearly remember what I said but they tried the hardest to try and brain wash me into believing them but I wasn't leaving until this was resolved. Luckily they did resolve it but It still cost me 300$ out of my rent money & left me in tears infront of everyone & honestly the way they treated me still makes my eyes water judt thinking about it. I informed the service desk I didn't appreciate their attitude and that I just want to resolve the issue but the counter staff continued to belittle me, laugh at me and next thing I know other front desk works where laughing with them, mocking me right their infront of customers. When I told the manager or whoever he was, he really didn't even care himself and practically sided with the man who literally to this moment still has me in tears because the stuff he said hurt me more then he could ever imagine. The issue that caused this doesn't even matter to me (screw the 400$ bill & the work they did without my permission) as I'm completely shook at the way customer service is run in the location. I politely asked them to stop, said they r being unprofessional, I even said I would take blame and wouldn't point fingers, I informed them if they didn't stop I would make a complaint and I was laughed at and told go right ahead. So I did. The service men yelled at me "u always have issues when coming here HAHA I wonder why HAHA". When I went to call hyundai canada to fine a complaint and open a dispute the service men and manager took my bill + paperwork from me and WOULD NOT let me see it. One man even yelled "DONT GIVE HER THE PAPER WORK SHES JUST GONNA COMPLAINE ABOUT IT". file was opened but im sure nothing will be done. Out of the 3 service men and the manager or whatever, only 1 of them was man enough to apologize, was polite, and even gave me his card incase I had anymore issues. Do I believe he was genuine, no. Do I believe he was just trying to cover his xxx for when I file a complaint. Probably. I have always had issues with this location (yes the man who belittled me made that very clear to everyone as he laughed and yelled "u always have a problem when u come here HAHA I wonder WHY HAHA"). This location is testosterone run. I've never Seen a female in this location especially in there service desks. (Makes sense why, look how they treat people especially woman). I have big shoulders and can handle a lot from men, but this dealership has literally broke me. I've never been disrespect the way I have here. Many times I've witness similar situations with other woman but nothing as harsh, rude or ignorant like it was done to me this afternoon. I'm 5 foot 2, 30 years of age with knowledge of mechanics as a background. This dealership belittled me to the point I felt like I was in middle school with 3 grown men bullying me into a corner while I literally cried. Woman, ladies if you go here and have been treated rudly, PLEASE speak out and report them to hyundai canada. This dealership for the past year has made me feel anxious Going in for a service & I've decided after today's incident to never return here! Gawd I sound like a cry baby but I really HOPE someone will read this and take me seriously enough to not go here and if they do, to remind those men that they have no right to treat customers to the point they did today.
