The staff were professional and demonstrated a genuine interest in getting me the best car possible within my budget. I now have a better car that I thought I would have, at a better price and with a warranty that exceeds any expectations I had walking through the door. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is serious about getting the best car for their dollar. Faysal and Kevin - you guys are the BEST! More

Faysal helped me choose the right car by answering all my questions and accompanying me during test drives, while Tony helped me get the best financing option on the car I wanted. The car was serviced and cleaned by the dealership prior to delivery, and they also took care of the registration process. When I received the car, it was so clean inside and out, I felt like I was buying a new car! That's what I would call high quality service. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service I received and very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to have a great and stress-free car buying experience. The past few days I have been going to several dealerships looking to purchase a vehicle. I finally came up with a decision and had decided that I was interested in purchasing the 2013 Hyundai San dealerships looking to purchase a vehicle. I finally came up with a decision and had decided that I was interested in purchasing the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe's. I drove specifically to the Dilawri dealership on Bank st all the way from Kanata. I drove by several other Hyundai dealerships to come to this specific one ready to purchase a vehicle. I have dealt with the Dilawri franchise before, however I have never been treated the way i was today. I came along with my mother and father looking to purchase a vehicle for them and felt embarrassed as it was my idea to come to your dealership. I was dealing with your salesman by the name of Louis. His body language, tone of voice and sarcasm was very rude and disrespectful towards my parents. By far the worst customer service ever and this is supposed to be Ottawa number 1 Hyundai Dealership? Not with that kind of customer service it isn’t. I did not come there to waste my time or his, I was ready to purchase a vehicle today, and however his attitude blew me away, He lost both a sale and a customer. I just got up and left. Out of the several dealers I've gone to the past few days I have not been treated this way till today. I guess its true No body really does deal like Dilawri... More
Was driving an 08 accent that didn't fit that families needs, went in to look into an 2012 elantra touring and spoke with John Elsmore as he had sold 2 other family members cars the same weekend. very eas needs, went in to look into an 2012 elantra touring and spoke with John Elsmore as he had sold 2 other family members cars the same weekend. very easy to deal with and very professional. Ashur in Finance was very low pressure, just wanted the customer to know their options and make the best one for their situation. Ended up with a nice deal on a nice car. 10/10 would buy again. More
My wife and I went to Bank Street Hyundai to look for a new car. We had done a good amount of research on-line before hand and knew mostly what we wanted. Our sales rep. Jean Michel was really friendly and new car. We had done a good amount of research on-line before hand and knew mostly what we wanted. Our sales rep. Jean Michel was really friendly and very knowledgeable. He did not try to push us or make the hard sale and he respected when we wanted to talk amongst ourselves and answered our questions thoroughly. As my wife is francophone, the fact that Jean Michel is fluently bilingual was nice as well. We were really pleased with the price we paid for our new Elantra Touring and the warranty. After some of the other salesmen we dealt with at other dealerships, this was a really positive experience, warm, friendly, professional, thorough and at the end of the day we got the car we wanted for a great price. I would strongly recommend Jean Michel and Bank Street Hyundai to any of my friends and family! We'll be back when it's time for another new Hyundai! More
Did plenty of research on economy cars, decided to go with the Elantra. Financing is great right now, and the dealer was happy to deal - I got a good deal. Dealer was also flexible with certain aspects with the Elantra. Financing is great right now, and the dealer was happy to deal - I got a good deal. Dealer was also flexible with certain aspects of the deal, allowing me to come away with the best possible solution for me. Salespeople were very friendly, and the car is a beaut. Only thing that bothered me was the numbers were tossed around a bit - hard to keep overall cash price, monthly, and biweekly numbers straight, on top of taxes and additional fees. Would have liked to work with a common denominator (probably cash price) for everything, but hey - I'll keep that in mind for car number 2, which is (hopefully) years down the road. More
As we walked into the showroom, we were welcomed by Kevin and Justin whom I've known from previous dealings. They treated us with utmost courtesy and professionalism and answered our questions and concerns w and Justin whom I've known from previous dealings. They treated us with utmost courtesy and professionalism and answered our questions and concerns which eventually lead to us purchasing a 2012 Santa Fe. Everything went smoothly and we met Chris Haddad, your finances manager who went through all the details and the services available in a very knowledgeable and efficient manner. He also accomodated us with the date and time to pick up the vehicule which was greatly appreciated. On the sheduled day to pick up the car, we were welcomed by an energetic young sales associate named Faysal Akl who was waiting for us explaining that we will go over the delivery procedures with us. Throughout the whole process, Mr. Akl wa incredebily courteous and the smile never left his face. He thouroughly explained to us about the different features in the car and demonstrated how they function all while assuring us that the service won't stop after we drive off and that the whole team is ready to serve us in the future as well. Great Service by the entire Team at Huyndai Bank. Chapeau, Keep up the good work More
Hi folks. I just wanted to relay my experiences with Hi folks. I just wanted to relay my experiences with Bank St and Hyundai Canada to make you aware of some issues that I had and hopefully make you Hi folks. I just wanted to relay my experiences with Bank St and Hyundai Canada to make you aware of some issues that I had and hopefully make you better aware of what might happen to you and give you a heads up on the issues. I came in to compare the Santa Fe to the Kia Sorento after testing 5 other SUV's. I was impressed by the vehicle and the fact that Faysal ASSURRED me that he would beat any offer I got from a competing dealership. I took the bate...hook, line and sinker! A lot of numbers were thrown around but almost entirely they centred on what it would cost me on a bi-weekly basis...not how much the vehicle was being sold for. Hyundai had a promo going for $4464 off... including the delivery and admin fee. The truth is that the delivery and associated tax as well as the finance costs, were charged back to me, (first lie) cutting the effective "discount" down to approx $2240. The admin fee was absorbed. When I questioned this they stated that I did get the whole amt taken of the MSRP but "the delivery costs have to be paid by someone"...turned out to be me not Hyundai, so I PAID FOR MY "FREE" DELIVERY CHARGE. I was also told that I had saved nearly $7000 on the vehicle, which on paper is correct. However due to the fact that I was then charged back the delivery costs, cuts that savings down significantly for something that Hyundai was suppossed to be paying for! I also questioned them on a Kijiji offer that was for a $500 gas card from the Dilawri group effective from July 16 to Sept 16. First I was told it was only for used cars. I had the offer on my IPhone which said ALL sales(second lie). Then I was told that I had to present the offer at time of purchase (I received it 3 days after I made the deal) but well within the allowable time frame. I was then told by Ashur (truthfully this time) that it was not going to be allowed because the money would have to be recouperated somewhere in my deal ...bottom line WE PAY FOR THE FREE GAS offer ourselves!! I was also told by a friend who works in the auto industry, that these rebates still gives the dealer his profit margin as well and that it is about 7-8%. This was denied of course so believe whom you will, but I know who I believe. When the upselling of the extra items started I was charged $1724 for the rust protection but I discovered that a friend had only paid $1099 for the same item. After I told them I was not happy, I ended up getting the $625 difference back. I was also told that I had a road hazzard protection pkg but then found out that I was paying for that as well(not really a lie but a bend in the truth). I did get $200 off the extended warranty through a "friends and family" discount YEE HA!! The bottom line is that I believe if Hyundai says they are paying for the delivery and admin cost they should...not charge it back to the purchaser. They only took out the admin fee of of the "extra" items list not the delivery fee. This would pertain to any Hyundai dealer not just Bank St. The bottom line is that I got approx $825 discount from the dealer and $2240 from Hyundai. If the profit is 7% that still leaves about $2000 in negoiating room and another $800 or so that could be saved. In all honesty, I am more pissed at Hyundai than Bank St. in the way they handled this rebate issue but Bank St. doesn't get away free either. They use a contractor to prep the cars and mine had a bug deflector installed which was warped. It had a nick in the driver door and, stains that had been pointed out to Faysal when we first saw the car, were still there. The wash job was quick, and dirty with lots of water stains. The glue used to hold on the plastic wheel protectors was left on and they looked horrible 2 days later. The defelector was replaced before I left the dealership but I have to contact Faysal to make an appointment for a recleaning. The paint protection portion of the rust pkg should have been smoother in my opinion. I have had cars detaied before and when a paint sealant was used the paint felt extremely smooth...not so in this case. Was it done or not, I can't say. I just wanted to make anyone who reads this aware of the tricks used on me and tell you to go to ther dealers. If they let you walk out...your probably just about there for pricing...then watch the upsells as well and take note. It can be done for $1100 not $1700 so hold off and get your BEST deal. Good luck. John was very helpful and customer driven, so he gets a 5, especially since he responded well after I raked him over the coals because of documentation problems arising because I was doing a lease instead 5, especially since he responded well after I raked him over the coals because of documentation problems arising because I was doing a lease instead of a purchase. The finance guys were good also but they need to ensure that the client knows exactly what is required from the dealer upfront with no confusion. I learned later that you only do one or two leases a year (Asher did a good job of explaining why), thus the confusion. Also, the confusion was compounded because the lease was with a company, not an individual. Thus I gave a 4 for quality of work and overall experience instead of a 5 because of the documentation problems. As concerns price, I thought I was getting a 0% rate (as advertised extensively in the newspapers) and was surprised that it was 1.9%. So I was quite disappointed. I took the vehicle anyway because it was what I wanted. However, if I hadn't made up my mind before I saw the lease terms, I would have walked away. I don't like when someone with whom I am dealing springs something on me at the last moment like that. To be fair, I don't think either I or the finance guys ever discussed the rate, but I assumed that it would be 0% because of the extensive (false?)advertising, especially since I was told that the rate drops as you get closer to introducing next year's models and that the rate at the start of the year was 1.9%. If Hyundai intends to achieve a premium price for what is considered to be a premium service or product (this is the definition of success in modern marketing), then it should do something about this.
