My sincere apologies for the way your 2011 ram has let you down. I had spoken to our service department and that we need to have you vehicle towed to Abbotsford Chrysler for repair. I had offered the use of a vehicle for you while your truck was in the shop. I know you also had mentioned looking at the idea of purchasing a new truck and trade in your 2011. I had provided some options to Ravi who contacted you with the offer. It was then you had indicated, what was offered wasn't good enough and you were going to contact a lawyer. I can understand your frustration and we want to help if we can. I think the first thing we need to do is have your truck towed into the store and have our shop forman look into what the issue is. You have been patient with us so lets take it one more step and follow the process for the optimum solution. If we cant fix your problem then I will take action with my legal department to see what we can do. Let me know what works best for you Sincerely, Scott Brown

Good afternoon Scott . IT seems you have a disconnect between yourself and staff because what you seem to believe happened is not correct at all. And I do. Realise it's pointless to rehash what has happened but the fact you think I was ungrateful for the offer of a new truck at dealer cost really gets me. I thanked your salesman numerous times for the great deal but told him I had a spending limit and couldn't go beyond that, otherwise I would just have to push ahead with getting it fixed. Also Jenny told me I would have to get the truck to your workshop myself and that it was fine to drive it with the check engine light on, which I have since found out voids the warranty. The truck is scheduled to be towed and inspected next week to determine the extent of the work needed and we plan to proceed from there. Chris Devlin

Morning Scott. The truck was inspected yesterday and it's no surprise when it confirmed what I suspected that the engine is damaged. Last week alone It used 3 litres of oil and it's burning so much that it is fouling the plugs which of course explains the lack of power and the constant check engine light which began a week after I purchased it. But apart from that I was informed that the truck had a extended warranty on it that we should have been told about and is valid to 180,000km. We were completely deceived about this and it was never mentioned, I absolutely believe this was done to make sure we brought a warranty and in turn you make your margin on the sale of the warranty. I would love to hear your explanation for this deceit? And what if anything you will do to make this deal right, having your workshop replace the engine is not an option as I have no faith that they are capable of the work. Chris Devlin 6045185345
