Nine months later engine trouble left for 2 days with no rental car, still waiting to hear about outcome even though it is covered by warranty. Katie and Eric did not respond to one email or phone call. Would not deal with this dealership again. More
Worst service experience! Initially, I needed 4 new tires as well as 4 new brake pads. I made an appointment with 401 Kia as this is where I purchased my car. As I was paying a lot at this appointment, I had no complaints. Two weeks later I notice a problem as my brake light is on. I go back to Kia, tell them the brake light is on. They quickly check and say that they must have forgotten to fill up the brake fluid when they did my brakes. This doesn't make sense because they are supposed to check all fluid levels at the initial appointment. I take their word for it, and my car is ready in a few minutues. A week later I notice the brake fluid is leaking everywhere. I go back and explain that they didn't do a thorough job the first time and this is unacceptable. They take a look and say my brakes are dangerous and I can't have my car back until it's fixed, which won't be until Tuesday as it is Saturday. Imagine my surprise! Kia doesn't offer rental vehicles, and they wouldn't help me out at all - they would not even take responsibility for not examining the car thoroughly the week before. I was out of a car for 3 days because of Katie and Eric's Kia dealership's negligence. At the time my husband and I were sharing a car, and he had to take the bus 3 hours one way just to get to work, and I was stuck taking the bus with a stroller. Because I complained to Kia Canada they had my car ready for Monday, and even dropped it off at my house. Then I noticed a new problem. All of a sudden there is a noise when I accelerate. I explained the problem over the phone and booked the appointment for Saturday, as it's convenient. They said it would be looked after. When I drop off my car on Saturday, they are understaffed. I leave the car there, and get a call that they can't do anything on Saturday. When I arrive to pick up me car, the service manager is doing a test drive, and a sales manager is sitting in the service department. They can't do anything until the week as they need a full day. I ask them how they propose I get to work. The sales managaer says they could drive me but I would be late for work. Not an option! I can't be late for work. And I have a baby I need to drop off at daycare. Of course, they refuse a rental. Of course I'm not happy. But I was never rude. However, I don't need a technician screaming at me "thank you" and "bye". I wish I had gotten my tires and brakes done anywhere else initially. I doubt I would have seen such incompetence at any other service area, and I probably would have saved myself 3 more trips and a huge headache. What a disaster! And I still have to figure out how and where to have this latest problem solved. More

Great experience and no pressure. Dropped by one day out of the blue and was introduced to Ryan who took the time out of his busy schedule to let me test drive the 2017 Sportage EX. I found Ryan to be very easy going and he took his time explaining the many features of the car. I was so impressed that I went back to Ryan a few weeks later and we settled on a great price for my new Sportage. Check out other Kia dealerships but do yourself a favour and go talk to Ryan, you will be very impressed with his knowledge of the Kia line and his focus on customer service. Best experience I've had buying a new car. More

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER Never in my entire life have I been treated the way I was at this dealership. Granted, and I fully comprehend that there was an error on my part but Never in my entire life have I been treated the way I was at this dealership. Granted, and I fully comprehend that there was an error on my part but to be treated the way I was, with no regard for customer experience baffles me. This is my third Kia vehicle i have owned and suffice it to say, this definitely is my LAST. I owned a 2014 Optima and a 2015 Sorento (not from this dealership) I wasn’t satisfied with the Sorento because the fuel economy was high because it is a bigger engine. That brings me to Saturday April 16 when I went in to view the 2016 Kia Sorento. Liked the car, but it was a bit over my budget. Did some calculations and thought i could afford it so i agreed. (Fully realize this is my mistake). Left the dealership after signing the paperwork, could not speak with the Finance manager as he was with another client but was told that they will submit for approval. Half hour after i had left, i called the dealership to put the deal on hold. 2.5 hours later went back to the dealership and told them to cancel the deal. And thus begins the downward spiral. The person i was dealing with was the assistant sales manager Brian, who told me, very politely i might add, that unfortunately the deal cannot be cancelled. I didn’t agree so the next step was to meet with the General Sales Manager. This is where everything went haywire The car was going to get an aftermarket navigation which i was told word for word "what if we throw in the aftermarket navigation, will that be sufficient for a deal". When someone says "I’ll throw this in" as a consumer, my assumption is that it will be free of cost. (I guess i can say that was second mistake). So in i go to see Jordan Pelikan, yes i will name this individual, the most obnoxious, rude, arrogant person i have come across in a longggg time. The conversation was heated from the beginning from my part as I was upset. Seeing this, Jordan, instead of trying to calm me down and to discuss the matter in detail, got upset himself and started talking rudely. When i stated the above argument, this person, he literally LOST it. I believe his exact words and reaction was pointing his index finger in my face and telling me "EXCUSE ME, PLEASE DO NOT INSULT ME, I DONT SELL OVER MARKET PRICE, I TAKE MY CAREER VERY SERIOUSLY". I was completely perplexed. He said i have bought the car and i signed the paper work. I said i will escalate to Kia Canada, and his response, "YOU CAN ESCALATE TO WHOEVER YOU WANT TO, THIS DEAL IS NOT GOING TO BE CANCELLED." I said ok, if i have bought the car, don’t work on it because i will still escalate to Kia Canada, he said "NO, I"M STILL GOING TO WORK ON IT BECAUSE I HAVE TO DELIVER THE CAR". So even though i owned the car, i technically didn’t own the car. I left the dealership, got home, and emailed Kia Canada and also Ted Lancaster, CFO of Kia Canada. Both responded promising discussion with dealership however, the next response to me they can’t do anything about this. Since the deal could not be cancelled i had no choice but to go back, and opted for another car, 2016 Optima, and picked it up last week. When I went into the dealership, sat in the car, and I realized the following 1) The car only had just under a quarter tank of gas. 2) The car had 311 kms on it when the bill of sale said maximum 200 kms I think 3) Windshield had smudges on it, not cleaned properly 4) all 4 rims had these black dirt spots So after all that disastrous encounters, their last good bye to me was in the form of "THANKS FOR COMING IN SUCKER, NOW GET LOST SINCE WE HAVE YOUR MONEY" To the Owners: You may think this so called General Sales Manager is a god sends to you but in reality he is the biggest detractor for your dealership. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. And I hope others view this review as a detractor for your business as well. If I could give a negative star rating here I would. 0 Stars. The only positives from this ordeal - Assistant Manager Brian, who was there throughout this process and willing to work with me to come up with a solution. In my opinion, he should be the General Sales Manager. not the one who currently occupies that spot. Amit Sharma - him along with Brian are the only ones who actually seem to care More
A very happy customer We just purchased our Sorento EX last week from 401 Dixie Kia. The overall experience was excellent! We were actually thinking of buying a Hyundai San We just purchased our Sorento EX last week from 401 Dixie Kia. The overall experience was excellent! We were actually thinking of buying a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport on that day, but just curious about the KIA Sorento and wanted to have a test drive. Hamid helped us on the test drive. I have to say he had done an excellent job. We decided right away to get a Sorento other than a Santa Fe Sport. Our budget is a little tied, but Nav tied the best and gave us a very good price! Ryan is the one who explained all the features of the Sorento, and helped out with all the paper work. Very patient and professional! Amit is the finance manager who actually prepared the sales agreement. At first, he added the extended warranty even we said no. We had to call him several times to cancel that extended warranty. Then, when we went back to signed the final sales agreement, he made another error to the payment amount which is higher than it supposed to be. We did the calculation by ourselves and pointed out the error. He did fix it though. I would still give the full 5 star to this dealership, as we are so satisfied with this new vehicle and the staff were always very friendly and professional. You just need to double-check the payment amount when you sign the paper! Leo More
