I have purchased 2 vehicles from Dixie 401 Hyundai. Both times the experiences were professional and respectful. My car was in the Service Dept today and they did a good job of keeping me informed. My dad recently purchased a Tucson from this dealership. The experience with our sales guy Trevor Shirley was great and we couldn't have asked for more. We had called the show room to see if they had cars The experience with our sales guy Trevor Shirley was great and we couldn't have asked for more. We had called the show room to see if they had cars available. He had 2 models set aside for us to test drive, he explained all the details of the car as well as the costs associated when we were ready to buy. He even put a sold sign on our car right away with our name on it. Unfortunately not all sales associates there follow the same protocol because the next day we got told that the car we bought was sold to someone else the same day. I was really upset but the sales manager ( I think his last name is Dost) handling our purchase was able to find another car the exact model and colour. The day of our pick up, things seemed to have started on a great note but turned south quickly. We opened our car door and things that should have been in our car was missing. We were told they ordered it and it will be there that week. I politely told them we were not going to take the car, and my dad was ready to walk away from the sale. But the finance director Sal was able to step in and locate the things missing in the car and give It to us so we could finalize the sale. We came back in and signed the rest of the documents, paid the rest of the deposit and went back out to the car to do the walk through. We handed the lady at the front desk our deposit ( an envelope of cash and a cheque). She left the front desk with the envelope of cash and brought it to the back to get it counted ( my dad and I was wondering why she would do such a thing) then she came back and told us that we were 100 dollars short. You better believe I was furious at this point, my dad counted the cash, I counted it and the teller at the bank counted it. Now all of a sudden you take it out of our sight to count and it is missing $100 dollars. At that point we felt like we had made the worst mistake coming to hyundai to buy a car. But then Sal the sales director saved the day again and got the issue sorted out. The people here are nice and they have alot of employees that are willing to go over and beyond to make sure the buyer is happy, even if they were not originally apart of the sale. For that I definitely would have given 5 stars. But I know that with all these little mistakes, they have learned from it and assured us it was discussed in there meetings to prevent this from happening again. More
