I purchased a brand-new Hyundai Santa Fe from Winnipeg Hyundai in January. As expected, they were all smiles and extremely accommodating during the sales process. But the moment I needed service, their true colors showed – and let me tell you, it was a nightmare. Within ONE MONTH of owning the vehicle, the tail light burned out, and we noticed an extremely loud wind noise on the highway. When we brought it in for undercoating and hitch wiring, we asked them to check the light and door seal. Instead of addressing these simple issues, they told us we’d need ANOTHER appointment—despite the fact that we live an hour away. The woman at the service desk was shockingly rude and unfriendly, making it clear that customer service is not a priority for this dealership. To make matters worse, the very next day after they installed the hitch wiring, the plug completely fell off! Then, when we came in two weeks later for the "free oil change" and to have the wind noise checked, they took the vehicle for a “test drive” in the city (where wind noise isn’t an issue) and conveniently claimed they “didn’t hear anything.” Instead of taking responsibility and fixing it, they told us to come back on a windy day—again, we live an hour away! And let’s talk about the tail light. They flat-out REFUSED to fix it, claiming it wasn’t covered under warranty because they blamed it on a rock. A brand-new vehicle with a burned-out tail light, and they just brush it off? Absolutely unacceptable. The level of incompetence and lack of care at Winnipeg Hyundai is astounding. Once they have your money, they couldn't care less about you. I am beyond disappointed and will NEVER bring my vehicle here for service again—nor will I ever buy another vehicle from them. If you’re considering this dealership, save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere! More
