Customer Service at its best! I went into Subaru dealership to see what cars they have, my first contact was Shane Rothwell. He was already done for the day. He not only show me around their lot in the chilly weather, he offered me a test drive. He his a great guy and i would recommend my friends and family to visit him. Stellar service from Subaru Calgary I was looking to replace my current daily driver with a 2016 Subaru WRX. They were very timely and put great effort into getting me into the car I wan I was looking to replace my current daily driver with a 2016 Subaru WRX. They were very timely and put great effort into getting me into the car I wanted, for the price I wanted. Unfortunately we were not able to meet my budget requirements for the vehicle I wanted. But with that being said they were pulling every string they could to bridge the gap between the cost of the vehicle and my budget and were shaving down my cost of the car anywhere they could. If you want a Subaru, ask for Loman. Even being relitivley new to Subaru Calgary there's no question I had that he left unanswered. You'll be taken care of. More
REGRETFUL Buyers beware. I learned the hard way not to put down a deposit with these guys until they approve the loan. They do not honor anything they advertise Buyers beware. After 3 consecutive days of negotiations, settled on a 60 month loan deal and paid my deposit. They called me back next day telling me financing didn't go through. Left me no choice but to pay cash. My obvious choice is then to loan from the bank. But they wouldn't honor the $1500 cash incentive the manufacture advertised. Threatened to not refund my deposit and told me that their price cannot be beat anywhere. Which forced to go to Centaur Subaru. Went to Centaur Calgary and they gladly accepted the same cash offer without hesitation plus a bonus remote starter. Whole process with Centaur took less than 30 minutes. Regretted ever dealing with these guys. More
Don't try to trade in your used Subaru toward a new one After waiting about 1/2 an hour while my sales guy Rahul talked w his manager Daryn, I was offered $3670 for my 2010 Impreza with 111,900 kms on it! It does have scratches and two minor dents on passenger side doors from a scrape w cement but runs like new, has never been in an accident and looks great otherwise. I was hoping to buy a new CrossTrek had they offered me a decent trade-in price. Wonder what they would have offered a man? More

Just Another Morally Questionable, Greedy Corporation! - February 12, 2016: I discuss a USED vehicle with salesman Munir Vara. - Feb. 13: New visit; I am persuaded to place a deposit on a NEW vehicle. - - February 12, 2016: I discuss a USED vehicle with salesman Munir Vara. - Feb. 13: New visit; I am persuaded to place a deposit on a NEW vehicle. - Feb. 20: Request deposit refund from Munir - referred to manager who I'm told referred it to "Regional Manager" as the request was "over his head". I'll be informed of decision. - Feb. 26: Return to Subaru Calgary and discover that Munir Vara no longer works there! I request a meeting with sales manager. I'm told to make an appointment. Appointment requested - I'll be informed when. - Mar. 1: Return to dealership and insist on meeting with sales manager. I speak with Ken Woo (who signed my contract) who claims: 1) company policy states deposits are non-refundable. This is news to me as I was not informed, and I've also NEVER been refused a car deposit return - I've had 4 or 5. 2) The car was ordered from Japan just for me (they always are, at least this is the 3rd Subaru that was. They are never adequately stocked from Japan it seems) 3) The configuration is unpopular and difficult to sell (base model, standard transmission). 4) I can't help you. 5) After I mention my intent to share this sales experience on the Net, Ken Woo treats the statement as though it were a threat and goes into a tirade complete with personal insults. I'm asked to leave. ***This company is run by what I perceive as immoral sociopaths. I recommend AVOIDING it entirely. I DO recommend dealing with their competition in Calgary: Centaur Subaru. More
