I was warned by a friend not to go to this dealership but it's so close to my house This goes back a few months but I felt the need to write a review. I was warned by a friend not to go to this dealership but it's so close to my house I couldn't say no. It was OK the first couple of services, average at best. However when it came time for my 96000 km service, that's when things went for xxxx. First I was told that they couldn't take my tire pressure light off simply because I put OEM rims on my car. Second they did work I had planned on doing myself, without asking me and then charging me for it. It was a light bulb I had already gone and purchased the bulb for and was going to change myself. When I picked my car up after being told they couldn't take off my tire pressure light I over heard a couple talking about how their vehicle had been scratched while getting serviced. So I paid, thinking after putting all that money into my vehicle I'd be good for a while. THEN 2 days later, my check engine light comes on after spending $1500. So i bring it back expecting them to do the right thing and look for a mistake they possibly made but was told I had to PAY MORE just to have them look at it and then they continued on to BLAME ME for the engine issue. Oh and charge me another $600 AND GUESS WHAT?! That tire pressure light they told me they couldn't turn off is off. If this dealership has good reviews its from fake accounts because I've yet to meet a person in this city who would recommend this unprofessional greedy high end dealership. Go here if you have cash to waste. More

I was committed to buy the car today but he was so rude that I didn't want to spend my money at that dealer I'm not kidding he made fun of my girlfriend and laughed at me like I was dumb when I asked him questions. This was my first time purchasing a new vehicle and Loman did an absolutely phenomenal job making sure I left with the perfect car for me. I was impressed with the professional environment, and was treated very well. Could not be more happy. Highly recommend dealing with Loman for anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. More

Renewal of my lease Loman and Trina were the employees I dealt with. My 2014 Forester lease came to an end and Loman helped me through the renewal process and the offer w Loman and Trina were the employees I dealt with. My 2014 Forester lease came to an end and Loman helped me through the renewal process and the offer was great. I got the new 2017 Forester for basically the same lease price. I was able to choose one of the new Forester they had in stock and I got my new car today, 2 days after I talked to Loman! No complaints and I have had only good experience over the last years with them also including appointments for inspection, repairs etc. More

Although a good deal was there, the salesman had little knowledge about the vehicles I was looking at. I was left with "google it yourself" or just a blank I don't know. I then went to a different brand of vehicle and almost signed the deal. It took hours to get them to be upfront about the cost of the vehicle and all extra expenses (unbelievably frustrating) and thankfully the deal fell through. I did a lot of research into Calgary Subaru and saw many great comments about Loman. Right upon meeting him he was upfront and transparent with all costs and took the time to ask pertinent questions to get to know me a bit and my needs in a vehicle. He had a great knowledge about the Subaru product line and if he didn't know an answer was quick to find it. He was extremely patient and spent a great deal of time to give me an experience that I never expected a dealership to give. There was no pressure, Loman worked for me to get a great deal and a fair price on my trade in. Richard Loucks the sales manager also stepped in to support Loman in saving me even more money on the deal! My experience was that this is a dealership working on bringing in a new and fresh attitude into a business which can leave the consumer feeling less then satisfied and like they've been taken advantage of. If you're in the market for a Subaru go to Subaru Calgary work with Loman Edwards and the rest of the team. You won't be disappointed! More

Worst dealership I have dealt with It all began with the purchase of my car, I specifically asked numerous times if the new wrx sti's would be coming out next year and the agent ensured It all began with the purchase of my car, I specifically asked numerous times if the new wrx sti's would be coming out next year and the agent ensured me they wouldn't be. To my surprise, they did. Throughout the negotiations we finally met on price and future discounts, one of which was free oil changes for life. This turned out to be a disaster. Every time I bring my car in, it is an ordeal and the customer service has been crap. I am not sure if it is because they make no money off of me for the oil changes or it's just the normal service quality. One specific time while under warranty I had them check out my wipers as they were not turning when required and thought it was an electrical problem. Upon picking up my car they tried to charge my $130 for this repair. I asked what was wrong and they indicated they had to tighten.a screw. The sales person would not budge on the price until I was basically walking out on the door without payment, and then the asked the shop if it actually took an hour. It took 15 minute supposedly and I ended up paying $30. This was just one of the numerous bad experiences I have had with this dealership and I highly caution people about dealing with them from now on. More

Loman LISTENS! Loman was a great sales person to work with. He listened attentively and never got impatient with us (my wife and I). I wouldn't exactly say I am the easiest customer to please, but--to make a long story short-- I walked out of there feeling like Loman had worked on my behalf. I got what I wanted, at the price I was prepared to pay. He returned calls and emails promptly, which has DEFINITELY not been my overall experience with dealerships/sales staff in Calgary. So kudos to him for that! I would wholeheartedly recommend Loman as your next Subbie sales person. More
