With only two Subaru dealers in the city, and a past track record of service incompetence with Centaur, we decided to give Subaru Calgary a shot when purchasing our newest vehicle. Needless to say, we have not been impressed, will not be taking our vehicle there for service, and will be telling everyone we can to avoid them. The sales rep we dealt with constantly lied (told us features were included which weren't even on the model), weaseled around on details between trim levels (semantics between the Limited trim and the Limited Tech Package trim), and on multiple occasions bait-and-switched vehicles. If my wife hadn't been set on a particular vehicle, trim, and colour, we would have purchased a different brand entirely. From the get go, every transaction with them has been an enormous hassle. We've had to phone them multiple times, even on the same day, to get something as basic as a call back with the VIN number to arrange insurance. This was the day before vehicle pickup, and still without a copy of even the incomplete bill of sale. Accessories that were included as part of the deal weren't even ordered until 4 weeks after the vehicle was picked up. They lost the second key, then found it again, called to say we could pick it up, and then lost it again before we arrived. Even then, after asking how they could make it up to us, saying they would deliver the keys and accessories to us on the other side of the city, we have not heard from them again for over 3 weeks. Follow up phone calls have not happened from staff members that said they would call back in 10 minutes, and messages for a callback have never been followed up. To top it all off, besides still not having a finished transaction, the key we do have was delivered with the laminated paper service tag and not a nice keyring (it's $5 at most, come on), and the 3 month trial of XM/Sirius included with the vehicle stopped after 5 weeks, likely because they neglected to inform XM about the purchase date. If I could give a zero or negative stars, I would. For service, use an independent Subaru licensed mechanic, and for all purposes, go to a dealer in another city. I'll be opening a case with BBB as well, these are very shady and inappropriate business practices. More

Loman became short and flippant when we asked for further explanations regarding the vehicle and the sale process (it seemed we were just supposed to take his word). We have never felt so insulted and belittled. He was willing to push a vehicle that met his needs but was not so interested in helping us make OUR vision happen. After meeting with Loman, our decision became clear - we love our new HONDA CRV! ‘Game’ over. More

Was warned This goes back a few months but I felt the need to write a review. I was warned by a friend not to go to this dealership but it's so close to my house This goes back a few months but I felt the need to write a review. I was warned by a friend not to go to this dealership but it's so close to my house I couldn't say no. It was OK the first couple of services, average at best. However when it came time for my 96000 km service, that's when things went for xxxx. First I was told that they couldn't take my tire pressure light off simply because I put OEM rims on my car. Second they did work I had planned on doing myself, without asking me and then charging me for it. It was a light bulb I had already gone and purchased the bulb for and was going to change myself. When I picked my car up after being told they couldn't take off my tire pressure light I over heard a couple talking about how their vehicle had been scratched while getting serviced. So I paid, thinking after putting all that money into my vehicle I'd be good for a while. THEN 2 days later, my check engine light comes on after spending $1500. So i bring it back expecting them to do the right thing and look for a mistake they possibly made but was told I had to PAY MORE just to have them look at it and then they continued on to BLAME ME for the engine issue. Oh and charge me another $600 AND GUESS WHAT?! That tire pressure light they told me they couldn't turn off is off. If this dealership has good reviews its from fake accounts because I've yet to meet a person in this city who would recommend this unprofessional greedy high end dealership. Go here if you have cash to waste. More
