I purchased a brand new vehicle and brought it in a few weeks after to get a car starter installed. A pick and drop service was offered and the ride didn't come until 2 hours of the scheduled time to pick weeks after to get a car starter installed. A pick and drop service was offered and the ride didn't come until 2 hours of the scheduled time to pick me up from work which had caused me to miss my appointments and resulted in cancellation fees. I emailed the operations manager Kevin Fanning and Mike B about the experience in detail in October 2020 with no response. I emailed again in December 2020 and Kevin Fanning's response to my terrible experience was "Please clarify what assistance you are requesting". This was literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I sent a detailed emailed about my appointment and how I had called multiple times about the ride that was scheduled to pick me up between a certain time with no response. Instead,Kevin, the operations manager asks me what kind of assistance I am requesting? Is that how they deal with unhappy customers? No acknowledgement, no apology... Very disappointed in their service. More
Ken is the best! I have owned 3 Subaru's and have brought them all to Subaru Calgary for service, and he is the best service representative I have ever had. I purchased the Subaru Canada extended warranty with my latest vehicle, and on previous visits with other service reps I have felt I needed to argue or push for things to be covered under warranty, even though I paid a good chunk of money upfront for the coverage. Ken had everything sorted and when he called to update me, he had already gotten the warranty coverage approved. He also called to let me know when my car needed another day in the shop for the work to be completed. In the past I have been the one calling at the end of the day for an update. Honestly this was the best service experience I have had at Subaru Calgary. Ken is a huge asset to the service team! More
We finally decided on buying a new Subaru after 10 years and 370 000km. Decided on Calgary for a newish 2019 Forester. Fantastic car, worst service ever. Block heater- yes sir they all come with them in Al and 370 000km. Decided on Calgary for a newish 2019 Forester. Fantastic car, worst service ever. Block heater- yes sir they all come with them in Alberta (meanwhile we had to have it installed somewhere else for $525). Winter tire deal- none were installed, and then were to be charged $650 more than agreed upon price. Please read your contract, and have everything in writing, and don't expect to be emailed or called back for anything. We will not even service our vehicle there in future. Rather go to Scott Subaru in Red Deer! More

I don't normally write reviews, but I am so blown away by Mike Bresett's superior leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills that I must share my experience! To provide more context, I have never Mike Bresett's superior leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills that I must share my experience! To provide more context, I have never been a client of Subaru Calgary. I am a client of Richmond Subaru located in British Columbia, which is only affiliated with Subaru Calgary as they share the same parent company. The reason I reached out to Mike Bresett at Subaru Calgary in the first place was because 2 different General Managers at Richmond Subaru were unable to resolve my dispute over the span of 1 year, and I needed to find a new avenue for escalation. Despite knowing that I'm not a direct client of Subaru Calgary, Mike treated my escalation with the same care and importance as he would for any of his clients. He utilized his internal resources to connect me with the right personnel at Richmond Subaru for a prompt resolution - Even the General Manager at Richmond Subaru did not know his own staff had this level of authority to resolve my dispute! Mike is a rare gem in the automotive world - his passion in providing the best-in-class customer experience is so perceptible in the way he took accountability on ensuring a satisfactory outcome for my escalation. Although Mike had already connected me with someone else at Richmond Subaru, he still maintained constant communication with me and always made the effort to follow up regularly to check in on the resolution status. Next time I need a new vehicle, I will seriously consider ordering it directly from Subaru Calgary and going through the hassle of getting an out-of-province inspection just to pay it forward back to Mike Bresett. Thanks again, Mike! More
