I appreciated that the service department could get my vehicle in to have the alternator and battery changed at a moments notice. They were able to assess it the same day with in a couple hours of being vehicle in to have the alternator and battery changed at a moments notice. But at the end of it all I was disappointed with how much my bill was to have the alternator and battery replaced. I will be looking around to find a different shop for service for my truck. When I talked to a staff about the price of the job they didn’t have much to say about it except that this was what it cost them and the time it took them. More

Buying the truck was a painful experience, truck took months longer to arrive and only did when I threatened to cancel and buy a Ford. I brought my truck for an oil change. That’s all… as I was passing through Calgary on a road trip. They wanted to rotate tires. I was questioned on not rotating them. Again I said no. Then they called me when they drove it in to do the oil and they said there was something wrong with the brakes. They were squeaking. Absolutely were not squeaking before or even after… they just wanted to up charge. There was also an electronic recall they did and that was nice they did it at that time. Easy to get into, frustrating that they knew I just wanted an oil change and they wanted to do more right from the get go. More

I've always been happy with Shaw GMC and my experience last week was no different. Hailey Alexander, my service rep more than once, is always professional and seems to go out of her way. There was an ECM failure and circuit problems that were handled promptly. Unfortunately, we had to wait on parts coming from out of town. She was scheduled to be off Friday but arranged alternate contacts for a seamless turnover. Janece Crocker took my call and went out of her way to followup with me when parts arrived. Rob Sikora also followed up to ensure I'd have my vehicle back and I'd be rolling before EOD on a weekend. Great job, everyone !! 5 stars !! More
