Reliable service for me for two decades I bought my first Grand Cherokee (Limited Orvis) here in 1997 (my first of four JGCs each one bought new) and have been coming here for service since. I bought my first Grand Cherokee (Limited Orvis) here in 1997 (my first of four JGCs each one bought new) and have been coming here for service since. This is not the closest dealership to me but over time I got to see how reliable, friendly these people are. I consider myself very skeptical when dealing with sales and service people anywhere. More

The worst experience ever!!! Wow, we had the worst experience ever with those guys! We were interested in buying a used car from them, so we called them 2 times to confirm that Wow, we had the worst experience ever with those guys! We were interested in buying a used car from them, so we called them 2 times to confirm that the car is still available, and that it doesn't have beige-colored leather seats (we wouldn't bother to go there at all, because we didn't want a car with beige seats). We drove all the way from the West End just to find out that the car isn't on their lot. Salesman Franklin looked after our car to find out an aproximate trade-in value and said that we're probably going to be able to make a deal. The next day we called again to confirm that the car is there. My husband made an offer on the phone, because we didn't want to waste our time and go there again for nothing. The same salesman told us that, with our offer, to 85% we're going to be able to make a deal. So, we drove there in the worst traffic jam on 401. He showed us the car and the first thing that we saw were the beige-colored seats. Even though we told him that we're not going to come if the car has beige seats (the day before we were confirmed that it hasn't) we were willing to buy the car. We wonted him to put everything on the paper, and what then came was the most disrespectful behavior that I've ever dealt with. The price for the car was suddenly $5000 more than the price given on the Autotrader. He just said that the market has changed. Sorry what??? Had the market changed within 1 hour (that's how long it took us to get there)??? Franklin wasn't even looking us in the eyes anymore, and suddenly we were second class costumers. We would never ever deal with those guys again, even if they had a car that costs $10000 less than somewhere else, and wouldn't recommend anyone to make business with them. More

Vehicle Servicing Excellence! I was involved in a vehicle accident and Scarborotown was recommended to me by a third party vehicle fleet manager as their "preferred" dealer. They hi I was involved in a vehicle accident and Scarborotown was recommended to me by a third party vehicle fleet manager as their "preferred" dealer. They highly recommended that I visit with Service Adviser Jim Abedi for an estimate before any work was undertaken (damaged front bumper). As I own a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe, I was very apprehensive driving anywhere near this Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership let alone allowing them to service my vehicle. During my initial consultation with Service Adviser Jim I felt very comfortable dealing with him. I was also very impressed with what I saw..numerous dedicated "body service" bays, dedicated "wash bay", numerous clean, organized and busy "vehicle service bays". Not to mention their very convenient "drive in" initial service bays. I was and am to this day after 3 visits to this dealership very impressed regarding the numerous friendly, motivated staff that I dealt with. Many of them have over 20 years service with this dealership and still have a smile on their face. My vehicle was ready for me over one day earlier than estimated and I was given several hours advance notice. Upon pickup, I was surprised to see one of Scarborotown's automotive technicians politely guide me to examine the work he/they performed as he gently touched my newly repaired front bumper. He had a big smile on his face and a look of pride. They did a terrific job! I am very pleased! Thanks again to Service Adviser Jim Abedi, Crispin and 24 plus year veteran employee Marlene over at the Body Shop. Attention all Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep people:Do not hesitate to come here for service. These people are "top notch"! For those of you who wish to read a very detailed account regarding the worst dealership in Toronto, please read my review concerning Kingscross Motor Sports (Hyundai). They are truly nasty! More

I called 3 times to confirm they had a specific Jeep in stock over a few days. I finally drove in from out of town to go see it, to find out it was sold. They couldn't tell me when it was sold, but they had several very similar vehicles in stock. The others, even though they were almost identical in Kms, ages, condition and options, were $3-4k more and prices were not flexible. I wasted several hours going there because they lure you in with low advertised prices, to try and sell you a higher priced car. Bill was very friendly thoughout the entire scam though. Epitome of the slimy used car dealer. Stay away! More
