I was looking for an used vehicle as I commute over 70 kms daily to and from work. I visited the used car lot at Scarborotown Chrysler and was casually met by salesman, Mr. David Lao. After many bad experiences with dealers in the GTA, Bill was the 1st Sales Person who gave me the straight goods! No B.S or run around. After speaking with Franklin over the phone 2 days in a row regarding a used 2012 nissan maxima I decided to call my father (retired mechanic) to accompany me on my visit to Scarborotown Chrysler. My father lives in Ancaster so the drive on a Friday afternoon at 3:30 was quite lengthly. In the car on the way there I called Franklin at which time he told me that the car was still waiting for me but he was leaving for the day.. he had updated his college Zack about me and ensured me that I would be taken care of upon my arrival. We were not greeted when we arrived, instead Bill (fake manager) stood there and looked at us while my father said hello and then glanced back at his cell phone. We let that go and asked another representative to speak with Zack. Zack was busy when we got there so he assured us after 5 minutes if he was not free that he would have another representative assist us. 20 minutes later Zack brought out a young man who was definitely not a sales rep (barely passed for 18) to show us the vehicle since he was still busy. This kid could not even find the vehicle outside at which time Bill told us it was sold. Apparently this was funny to the kid supposed to be showing us the car as he began to laugh. I demanded the managers business card only to find out Bill was "the manager". We went to his desk where he was now helping 2 clients and waited for a card. He purposely ignored the young mans request for his card so we could leave. I had enough and demanded a card at which time he stood up and shoved his finger in my face yelling at my and denying he was the manager. My elderly father rushed over as he was extremely aggressive and my dad was worried for my safety. Bill continued to use profanity as we exited the building. I have never in my life been treated this way and am extremely disappointed that Chrysler upholds NO level of professionalism for their employees. This single experience has encouraged my entire family, children, and circle of friends to boycott Chrysler. Bill and Franklin would be hard pressed to find a customer service job at a fast food establishment so buyers be aware, this establishment is a pathetic excuse of a franchise and Chrysler should be disgusted!!! More

I was a first time buyer and they tried their level best to take advantage of it . They are very courteous only till you sign the agreement . Once you sign you get to see their real face . They would not reveal the truth and even go to the extent of telling a lie so that you cannot have any accessories added in to the deal. They cannot increase the price tag by adding any extra fees as per the new rules so they will try not to have you include any accessories like auto ignition or other stuff and have you pay extra once you sign the agreement. In short their effort is to sell you the least for maximum money charged and for that, they even go to the extent of telling you a lie . I recommend all the readers to strictly stay away from this dealership . They create a lot of grey areas mislead you and then rip you apart. Their sales practices are very very unfair. More
After seeing an advertised price on a vehicle online, I called and spoke with a salesman. I agreed to purchase the vehicle, gave him my information and a visa deposit. The following day I drove for 2.5 h called and spoke with a salesman. I agreed to purchase the vehicle, gave him my information and a visa deposit. The following day I drove for 2.5 hours from out of town only to get there and find out that another salesmen pushed through another offer on the vehicle that I came to pick-up. And the best part is, I wasn't even told this on arrival! After driving the vehicle and sitting at his desk for half hour while he tried to bump up the price with 'administration fees, etc............I'm sure OMVIC would love to hear about that!) I was told that I would now need to place a counter-offer. Absolutely ridiculous. The salesmen had no idea what was going on, the mangers (and the dealership owner) didn't have a solution or even seem to care. What a gong show of a dealership. I would not recommend dealing with them. There are lots of others out there that may have clue on how to treat clients. More
