Horrible experience with this dealership. Very poor customer service and lack of knowledge specially one of the sales rep. who is very impolite and unprofessional. I had to deal two times with him when I leased my car 4 year ago and when it was due to release it. No one cares and there is no manager responsible for their sales rep. actions. They just want to sell. I was going to buy back the car but they didn't provide information and caused me to pay 170 dollars for a safety certificate that could easily be avoided as the defect was visible ,a little crack on window which I was not aware it could be a problem if I want to buy it ..the Crack was not a safety concern but was required for the certificate. The sales rep told me I don't need any documents to buyback which was lie and just ignorance on his part ..the service guy also didn't pay attention to that defect that could be a problem, they just charged me for the test and then told me I should fix it , and then pay again for another safety test . The crack on window was visible and they shouldn't testing and charging me ..the defect was not hidden so i could avoid paying extra. The next day I went to another Toyota dealership which were very nice, professional and helpful. They gave me good information and helped me to resolve all issues . Don't ever go to the Richmon hill Toyota and if you did just avoid that rude and not knowledgeable sales rep. Well still I try to be nice to him and don't put his name here. More

I locate and bought a 2022 TACOMA from Richmondhill Toyoyta while I live in Whitby reason hard to find one rightaway. I love my track not because of the great service of the DEALERSHIP but because of great product of TOYOTA my story I bought the track through salesperson named MEHDI. He signed and promise for me my first service is free (included in the price). I drove the care and the dealership called me for my complimentary service, I made the appointment and , drove all the way to Richmond hill. I wait 30-40 min and then get inside to register, but service advisor said it is not covers under complimentary service and asked me to pay $220 for the service. Reason the millage is passed 8000 km . This is the sad part I went inside the receptionist not friendly either. I asked for my salesperson MEHDI. Mehdi come and I told him, you never mentioned about 8000 km anyway he made a false story at the spot, and told me he will go and talk to the dealership manager . He told me to wait here. I wait and wait and wait an houre but he never come back,. I went again to front desk, the lady told me MEHDI don't want to see you, sales is done, now it is the service desk, not the sales I was very disappointed, he must come back and told me what he wanted , but he didn't and he insulted me by ignoring. I felt disrespected in this dealership that I never want to go there again More

Refusal to give back a $1000 deposit for a vehicle that was only withheld for 3-4 days. They did not provide a reason nor breakdown of expenses the dealership ate in that short period of time. They also did not perform ANY services to the vehicle between deposit placing, and cancellation of order. No amount of money was spent aside from having the vehicle taken off of listings for that short period of time. Even in the purchase agreement it states the deposit & any amounts will be refunded, and if docked, there should be suitable explanation for damages accrued. As someone from the Honda-Acura side of dealerships in accounting, what they've pulled on a English-secondary speaking family member of mine is ridiculous. Between the 4 dealerships and 11 years I've worked in this industry, I've seen deposits refunded on vehicles that received actual costs in service, transport, and cleaning. At the end of the day, the customer is entitled to their refund, and if the business does not provide a breakdown with valid and verifiable reasoning that the company had eaten costs, it is null. Even then, the customer gets their deposit back 999/1000 times. This company just preyed on the fact my family member is still learning english, preying on his ignorance to the industry. OMVIC has been contacted both via my workplace, and my personal. We'll see how this goes! In the interim, I highly advise any new Toyota shoppers to bring their business to another establishment. I've had excellent experience at New Roads, and Aurora Toyota. Fantastic product no doubt. Just have to find the right sales & service team. More
