I had a very bad experience at Richmond Hill Toyota today. I complained that the car jerks forward when I apply the brake. This happened about a year ago when the car was under warranty and it was appa today. I complained that the car jerks forward when I apply the brake. This happened about a year ago when the car was under warranty and it was apparently fixed that time. However, the problem came back so obviously it wasn't properly corrected. This time the car was not under warranty anymore and the service lady told me it would take 2.2 hours to calibrate and would cost $341. I agreed. Exactly one hour later I was called back and told the car is ready. Given it only took 1 hour and not the 2.2 hours, I asked if the invoice would be adjusted. She said it would. Then she called and said no it wouldn't because the 2.2 hours included the time it took them to figure out the problem. But I could have said no to fixing it. Why am I being charged 2.2hours at $150+/hour for something that obviously took less than an hour to fix. She passed me on the service manager who didn't do anything. I will never go back there. After leasing 3 cars from them, they just lost a customer over the 1 hour that they overcharged me on. I hope they think it was worth it! Stay away from this dealership. More

I took my 2 year old Lexus for detailing to this dealership. I purchased the premium package which includes exterior polishing and fixing of minor paint scratches because there were a few small scra dealership. I purchased the premium package which includes exterior polishing and fixing of minor paint scratches because there were a few small scratches on the door and the hood otherwise the basic $100 package would be enough for my car. I showed the spots to the service personnel and she marked them up to ensure they will be taken care of. A few hours later I picked up the car and noticed the outside of the car is not touched other than a normal wash. No polishing and also nothing was done to the paint imperfections. The service assistant gave me the key and disappeared so there was no chance to even talking to her. On the inside there were multiple stains on the door panels that they didn’t even car to clean up properly. Detailing is a simplest type of service (right?) and they couldn’t deliver what they promised. This is a quality of the service that they provide and customer can see the results easily who knows what they do to your vehicle for services that the results are not visible to the customer. I for sure will avoid this dealership for future car purchases and services. Potential customers be aware. More

I took my car in for a recall on a door harness. When I got my car back my windows among other things did not work. Nothing was wrong with my car before going in for the recall. It sounded like a fuse issue and so when I went to see if a fuse had blown while servicing the door harness the fuse for the windows was missing. I took my car back to show them someone took my fuse out and they would not believe me the fuse was missing then spent 30 min trying to fix my windows after I told them the fuse was missing. .....not only did they try to scam me for a repair then they wouldn't believe me the fuse was missing....funny enough when they put a fuse back in everything worked fine...... More
