When calling service you get someone that will book a service appointment for you, that Is reasonably fast...not on hold too long. However yesterday I asked over many calls to talk to a service advi service appointment for you, that Is reasonably fast...not on hold too long. However yesterday I asked over many calls to talk to a service advisor, which you get put in que and after say 10 minutes get a message to leave a message. After many attempts, no service advisor ever answers the flipping phone. I even was on hold with a gentleman from the appointment booking desk that tried his best to physically find someone to talk with me, which he was not able to, as no service advisor at their stations. That is a shame that no one wants to actually do their job. By what I am seeing in other posts, the service department has big problems, and is not stepping up. In my opinion, RHT service sucks!!! I had a very bad, humiliating and insulting experience at Richmond Hill Toyota. I got a brand new RAV4 Hybrid 2023 on August 2023 after 10 months with lots of false &lie promises (forced to take ECP and to s Richmond Hill Toyota. I got a brand new RAV4 Hybrid 2023 on August 2023 after 10 months with lots of false &lie promises (forced to take ECP and to sign papers different than what they explained and etc., please do not believe them and avoid dealing with Toyota and this dealership as they just want to sell and no customer service at all ) next day I had issue with right side pillar(broken) and took it to the dealer and they said they will get the part within few days and call me to fix it , since Aug 13,2023 no one called to follow up/fix the issue . They did not care or bother to return the call from Better Business Bureau Canada . More
My recent encounter with Toyota Richmond Hill has left me disgusted. Initially, I visited the dealership for an oil change and to address a transmission oil leak, during which the dealership service advisor disgusted. Initially, I visited the dealership for an oil change and to address a transmission oil leak, during which the dealership service advisor Ronald Cheung indicated that certain parts would require replacement. I have always done my maintenance and oil changes from Toyota Richmond Hill on my 2018 Toyota Highlander. Seeking a second opinion, I consulted a mechanic who unveiled a shocking discovery: that my splash shield under my car was missing which had led to corrosion on my transmission parts under my car. Considering I have always been to Richmond Hill Toyota they had misplaced my splash shield at some point and even during a previous maintenance check which we pay high dollars for they had never mentioned it was missing. This is unacceptable and this is what led to my transmission oil leak. For a vehicle with only 95,000 kilometers on the odometer this should have never happened. However, the negligence displayed by the dealership has left me disappointed and questioning their integrity. Rather than owning up to their errors, they attempted to cover-up their mistake by adding a new splash shield and then their assistant service manager Jeffrey Lane confronted me by saying that I am confused, even though I had pictures to prove it had no splash shield and to my surprise it magically appeared. Despite my concerns, the service manager, Daniel Kozak, presented a timeline that conveniently overlooked the issues I raised. When I requested security footage to see exactly what happened inside the garage and who magically replaced the splash shield, it was not provided and was covered up by Ronald Cheung, Jeffrey Lane and Daniel Kozak. My recent experience with Toyota Richmond Hill was horrible. They cover up their mistakes, their maintenance checks are all just a money-making scheme because if it was done properly I would have been told during one of these checks that my splash shield is missing and could cause issues. The worst thing is they are liars and coverup their errors and say the customer is wrong instead of accepting their mistakes. Beware of Richmond Hill Toyota they are frauds and scammers and completely unreliable. Dealership sent an automated message that they will contact me about my experience, its been more than 3 week no response or efforts made. Also my friend lost his 2 highlander 3 times and after all this hassle he moved away from Toyota altogether as its not worth it. More
