Dishonest Rip-off Artists Tall, young man sold us our car in 2013. Very arrogant, full of CRAP! Every dealing we've had with their service department since then has been a Tall, young man sold us our car in 2013. Very arrogant, full of CRAP! Every dealing we've had with their service department since then has been a dance of trying to work around the unnecessary work they claim should be done, and holding them to their quoted prices. We've been ripped off in our billing every single time! At our very first 20,000km service, they did a "required" front end alignment for over 600 bucks! We didn't buy a $60,000 new vehicle to spend thousands on it every year! Our most recent service from 2 weeks ago will be our last! Going elsewhere. I had 4 conversations about our service appointment and always asked for a quote for the work, got a different number every time, and had to pin them down to the original I was quoted. In the end, we picked up the car and it was nearly $400 higher than the quote AGAIN! They "forgot" to quote us for the oil change. What!?!? Do not deal with these guys! More
First Car Buying Experience I bought my first car from Northwest Acura last month. I initially dealt with Koh Law over the phone, and then Sunny Khan when I came in to look at an I bought my first car from Northwest Acura last month. I initially dealt with Koh Law over the phone, and then Sunny Khan when I came in to look at and test drive the vehicle. Both were friendly and professional. Sunny did a great job on selling me the vehicle as that was what I needed to break the bank - was to have someone actually convince me why I should. He was a cool and charismatic cat and I would definitely recommend him. Upon picking up the vehicle a couple of days later, I had the pleasure of dealing with Effren Hachey because Sunny had a doctors appointment previously booked for that day. Effren was a totally down to earth guy and we clicked right away. We had a good discussion on hip-hop music and shared music suggestions with each other. All-in-all I had a great first time buying experience and would recommend any of those three I have mentioned. I bought a pre-owned Honda but my next vehicle I would like to be an Acura because I really like the brand, and when I do, I will definitely be heading over to Northwest Acura. More

I was was quite please by the low pressure sales environment, transparency and respect for my business and time. Never did it feel dishonest, contrived, or just plain scummy as some dealerships can. I mostly dealt with Koh, the Sales Manager, and he was always cordial and respectful during negotiations and afterwards. After the price was negotiated, I asked for two additional items to seal the deal; one of which was new floor mats. He not only threw in new floor mats but gave me the premium fitted weather-tech type mats. While discussing options (3M, undercoating, extended warranty etc.), I only ever had to say no once and felt respected in my decisions. I was very pleased with my experience with the sales department and would recommend this dealership to others. I am also enthralled by my fancy new Acura ILX ;-). People tend to write reviews based on either phenomenal or abysmal experiences, mine was definitely the former. I hope their Service Department holds themselves to the same standards. NEVER GOING BACK-BUMPED APPT, NO APOLOGY-POOR RAPPORT NW Acura Service Dept bumped my appt no apology or explanation offered. My appt was booked 3 wks earlier, with a call the 2nd week to add item to my vehicle servicing and appt was still on file. Serv. Mgr said I would have to wait from 0830 to 2pm and then he would only do an oil change-that oil change would take 2 hrs. I said it only takes me 30 min, minute lube 10. Serv Mgr said I don't understand the process. There are women in every profession today (auto/trades etc). Serv. Mgr called me next day angry that I filed complaint with Honda Cdn. Said I was not to bring my car back to NW Acura. I had already booked a fall service appt with another Honda Cdn site (where they know how to treat people right). All he had to do was apologize and book/squeeze me in soon. Never Intended to Return/Will Not Recommend, esp. if they bump regular long-time customers for wealthy customers. More

My appointment is at 8:30am and arrived on time, they let the vehicle park in yard till 9:39 am then drive-in to services, if they let me know they will start the services at that time, I don’t have to drive all the way from Canmore so early, waste my half day. Poor customer service, the guy (Chris) at the counter not professional and rude. More
They really overcharge for services.
