In May 2017, we stopped by the Used Car lot at Northway Ford and were greeted by "Bubba", who heard what we were looking for and helped us as we were drawn to the 2012 Nissan Murano on the lot. "Bubba" took us for test drive and gave us his information. Over the next few months, as we were preparing ourselves financially to purchase a vehicle, "Bubba" politely emailed us as did Kaitlynn Tessier, to connect and to remind us that the Murano was still available for purchase or to assist us if there were any other vehicles of interest to us. On the week before Canada Day, we noticed via email the sale that was coming up with the Incentives for just test driving a vehicle. After seeing some similar vehicles at other lots, my wife was sold on the Murano at Northway Ford. Going back to Northway, we were welcomed by "Bubba" who let us take another test drive and then handed us over to Jaclyn Thomas once we decided to buy. Jaclyn did a phenomenal job from start to finish and in such a personable way, we can't say enough about her service. Her thoroughness and care, along with the personal Thank You card she gave us upon completion of sale was over and above. If it were just for Jaclyn, I would go back to Northway Ford again and again. Unfortunately, we didn't have such a great experience with the Service Department at Northway Ford. At first we were promised our vehicle by the Thursday evening before the Canada Day weekend. And understandably so, after the safety and inspection was completed on the vehicle and a part was needed, they were not able to get the part till the Tuesday after the Canada Day weekend. We again felt this very understandable, though we were sad not to have our vehicle as promised. However, on Tuesday when we arrived at 5pm, for our twice confirmed appointment, "Bubba" came in at 5:10pm, while Jaclyn was still busy with a customer in the back, which as to be expected. "Bubba" then went looking for our "Murano" and returned only to tell us that the vehicle was not yet cleaned and not yet ready for pickup. "Bubba" suggested we would have to wait till the next day, and they would deliver it, possibly around Noon. I assumed that the service department was already closed being around 5pm, but still wondered why someone wouldn't take 30 minutes or even an hour and clean it right then for us. Only later did I see that the service dept. is actually open till 9pm according to the website. When Jaclyn came out from her meeting, she was very upset that out vehicle was not ready, and apologized over and over again. She empathized and took it even harder than we did. She took us through the paper work and made sure everything would be ready for our "Murano" deliver the next day, even suggesting that she couldn't say a specific time, as she knew we had already had enough disappointment and didn't want to promise anything that couldn't be delivered. Our Murano was delivered in a timely manner the next day by "Bubba" and we have been enjoying it ever since. Well at least my wife Sonya has!! I personally felt that the Used Car centre at Northway Ford was being treated as a "second class" area. All financial and credit card payments had to be serviced at the main building. It seemed odd to me that they wouldn't have put an Interac/Debit/Credit machine in the Used Car centre for processing payments, but that anyone who purchases a "Used Car" would have to walk over to the Main Building to make payments. A fridge with bottled water was in the Used Car building, but the 4 individuals who worked in the building were the ones who had to go to the Main building to get water and restock the Fridge. I even heard an employee say, they are not allowed to drink any of the bottled water in the fridge, its only for customers. Which again I thought was rather cheap for a car dealership the size of Northway Ford. And with the treatment we received from the Service Dept., I kinda of felt like purchasing a "Used Vehicle" from Northway Ford meant getting secondary class service. Finally, with the delay in getting our vehicle, I didn't have time to contact our insurance company to tell them to delay insurance for a day and because we used a line of credit, we were already paying interest on the money taken out to pay for the vehicle. There was no offer from Northway Ford to even provide us with a small token of compensation for our vehicle not being ready on time, except that they delivered it to our house, which to me was a given, as we had no way the next day to pick it up as soon as it was ready. I hope the management of Northway Ford reads this and works to improve their service. It wouldn't take much, but it would make a world of difference for their customers and keep them coming back! I dealt with John Bolt and found him to be very friendly and professional. He was not overly aggressive, which I appreciate in a salesperson. He was always available to answer any questions that I had and allowed me to make an informed decision with my purchase. I was trading in my Ford Edge and went to 3 different dealerships, to see who would give me the better trade in value of my car. Northway beat the others hands down!!! We had dealt with Northway in the past and found then, that the trade in values had always come in at a better price than most. I highly recommend that you check out Northway Ford ... and see John Bolt (tell them that Kristy sent you :) ) when you want to purchase your next Ford vehicle. More

Another Excellent Serice Appointment! Special thanks to John Hughes and John Jefferson for the efforts to get my air conditioning repaired on my 2016 Ford Escape. As you would expect the p Special thanks to John Hughes and John Jefferson for the efforts to get my air conditioning repaired on my 2016 Ford Escape. As you would expect the problem occurred during our first really hot days. My vehicle was repaired within a few days of the problem and had to be kept overnight due to the nature of the warranty repair. A rental was provided and both John's thoroughly explained the nature of the repair with their usual friendliness. My vehicle was returned to me in mint condition with the usual efficiency I have learned to expect and appreciate from the dealership! More
