Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. I contacted the dealership and asked about the vehicle they had for sale. I also wanted to trade my vehicle in. I sent photos and VIN dealership. I contacted the dealership and asked about the vehicle they had for sale. I also wanted to trade my vehicle in. I sent photos and VIN to the salesperson, but they wouldn't give me a price until they inspected. I told her that it had a claim of approx 14k from previous owner (previous owner had given me the number) No issue. I made an appointment and drove over 2 hours. Dealership inspected my vehicle and we made a deal. I was suppose to pick up the vehicle on the Wednesday. Dealership called and indicated there was a delay. No issue, we agreed to do the exchange on Friday. On Friday am i got a text message from salesperson saying they pulled the carfax on the vehicle (2 weeks later) and the claim from 2015 was 18k, not 14k and they wanted to deduct 500 off the trade value. I declined. They then agreed with original price and told me to drive down. I drove over 2 hours again to dealership. When I arrived, they immediately took my car into the shop for another "inspection". They came back and said there was some tranny code on the car and they no longer wanted it. When I originally drove down, it was for the purpose of inspection. They had the keys for over 2 hours. The fact they made me drive down twice, only to play games on the day of delivery is beyond me. I have been in sales for over 20 years and my word is my word. All said and done, i drove home with my vehicle and got my deposit back on the new vehicle. These are not honest business people and do not care about you, the customer. Take your business anywhere but here. More
We have just left this dealership and we are at a complete loss for words. We we have never in our lives been treated with such insult and disgust - and in front of our two children to make matters w complete loss for words. After speaking to a sales rep (who we were told was new) we drove over an hour-and-a-half to view the car of interest and to get further details. We were attended to by a different sales rep named Stacey Cooke- he was polite and wanted to help us and explained the details and the situation. He showed us the car and assessed our car for a trade in value. For one reason or another - the details were not as we had thought therefore we asked to speak to a manager for clarity. This is when things got so bad - we are in shock that it even happened. A “manager” by the name of Paul Tavernese approached. We felt his demeanour from the get-go was far from friendly but rather stern, unwelcoming and aggressive . He repeatedly called us liars and told us to get out of the show room. We tried to explain repeatedly that we were not lying and that we had gone out of our way to come to the showroom this evening. His behaviour became increasingly aggressive to the point of him telling us to just get out of the showroom and to get “out of here with your lies” followed by “yeah, yeah yeah - just go write your google reviews “ were his exact words. We told him that even if there was some kind of miscommunication or misunderstanding, there was ZERO need for a manager to speak that way to ANYONE and especially not customers, in front of other customers and in front of his own staff. He responded by saying “you can’t make me change and be respectful - who’s going to change me - you? I can do whatever I want. I can say whatever I want - it’s a free world” we explained that we had left our jobs early, picked up our kids from School and travelled with our disabled son to visit the showroom. We had not walked in “screaming, lying, swearing, insulting” - we were simply looking to get more details on a car we thought we could purchase. There was nothing but anger on his face and honestly, we are grateful things did not get worse. When I told him that someone that speaks to other human beings/customers , with such disrespect and a lack of decency must have a very unhappy life (truly the only explanation I could think of in my mind for his disgusting behaviour) - he responded by saying that he had “a fantastic life and that I should see his home”. I don’t know what level of professionalism is expected from those who represent Ford - but this can’t be it. This behaviour shouldn’t represent any company or organization! Please, Ford - if you see this review - request the camera footage of what happened this evening and listen to the dialogue that took place both in the main showroom and the area where this “manager” sat (small office area on the right as you enter the showroom). It is beyond insulting and it’s an embarrassment to your organization. We were prepared to make a deal today - even when the details weren’t exactly as we had thought - but no one should ever make any kind of a business deal after being treated in this matter and being insulted in such a disgraceful way. We were literally shaking when we left. (For reference this occurred on Thursday, September 12 - approx time 5:30. I wore a green dress, my husband a beige cardigan - our children sat in the guest area. Car of interest was Ford Escape - Plug in Hybrid) More
