I would like to assure you that we do care about our customers after purchase, and will go above and beyond the norm to make sure that they are taken care of in the best way possible. I have personally gone over the emails that were sent back and forth this morning between yourself and Mr. Akhavan. I assure you that your concern is based on a misunderstanding and non intentional. In answering your question; Mr. Akhavan's intention was to promptly inform you that service department has the right answer as to how often the oil should be changed on your Brand New Vehicle (the responds are short as he was with customers at the time and wanted to make sure that you get the answer you are looking for promptly). That is why he had requested you to contact the Service Department, and not because he didn't care to answer your question. To help answer your question; we recommend oil changes every 5000 to 7000 Kms (specially the first one), due to the temperatures in Toronto. The Owner's manual of your vehicle will recommend every 10000 Kms based on milder weather conditions. Also, the model you have purchased does not notify you on the dash if an oil change is due. A sticker is attached to your windshield after each oil change to remind you of the next one on such vehicles. This information and much more can be found in your Owner's Manual. Please don't hesitate to contact our service department for more in-depth information on do and don't for your vehicle. We are ALWAYS here to help you in any way possible, and our service department is dedicated and eager to answer all your vehicle maintenance related question. That is why Mr. Akhavn's asked you to contact them. This is to ensure you get the right information the first time. I hope I have been able to shed some light on this matter.
