I had to text 3 times and call 3 times escalating to the service manager before someone got back to me! Then, with the warranty fix, they damaged the interior of my car but said unless I could prove they did it, there was nothing they would do. Not only that, this is the 2nd time I'm replacing the same part under warranty and the car is 2 years old. Brutal!! More
A totally pleasant and satisfying experience!!! I was trying to sell my friend's 2016 Sonata couple of weeks ago, after she passed away left with over 23k loan behind. We listed this car on web for private sale, and also contacted several dealers for quoting.. but failed to get any satisfying result. I took the car into this dealership for the last trial, Mr. Ned Calija, the Used Car Sales Manager, heard about my friend's story, and quickly reached the deal with me. Since I had no experience in this kind of transaction, he made the deal going totally smoothly and easy with clear guidance and cooperation on each every step. My friend's family is happy for what they got from the sale, and I was pleased by the friendly cooperation Ned offered. More
Poor service from to sale to routine service Purchased a new fully loaded vehicle. Was promised in writing that my vehicle would have some features such as traffic on the maps and Android Auto. Purchased a new fully loaded vehicle. Was promised in writing that my vehicle would have some features such as traffic on the maps and Android Auto. After I signed all the papers and went to pick it up I was told during the walk through that the system just needed a minute to load. It never did because the installed system doesn't have it. Discussions with Hyundai Canada and dealer were disappointing. I was told if I didn't like it I could sue them. Despite being told it didn't exist by Hyundai I ended up having to buy an upgraded software version from MapNSoft (a division of Hyundai) to get it. Keep in mind my SUV was brand new and only a month old and was running old software. The dealer refused to cover the cost of the software but where more than happy to sell it to me if I wanted to buy it from them. The last straw for me today was when I went in to get my vehicle repaired. I booked the appointment through their service dept. two weeks prior and was very clear on what needed to be done. The repair reason actually appeared on my service reminder. When I arrived at the service center I was told that they don't do that type of repair on the weekends. I explained to them that I don't live in Mississauga and this was a huge inconvenience. When I asked what a solution to the situation was they told me I could leave the vehicle and they would fix it on Monday. I said that was fine but they would have to give me a loaner because again I don't live in Mississauga. The service agent said a loaner wasn't possible as they didn't have any vehicles and that this "wasn't their fault". I guess all the cars in their lot are just props. Not sure how it wasn't their fault as they were the ones that booked the appointment. This also wasn't the first time they have done this to me. In the fall I booked my vehicle to get my winter tires put on and my summer tires stored. When I arrived I was informed that they failed to have my tires pulled from storage and I would need to rebook. Management is very difficult to impossible to reach. They do not care and if you continue to press the issue they threaten to ban you from the dealer. Overall, very poor service, poor follow-up, no accountability, and bad attitude.Have to also say the quality of their vehicles is dropping as well. More

I've been to many dealerships, and they all make you feel so stressed out, but not when you come to this dealership. It was such a great experience. Jonathan is the sales guy to look for. He is helpful and really pleasant. There was no intimidation tactics or pushy sales talk. He is a young guy who listens and is an honest straight forward guy. I would recommend him 100%. More

warranty appointment turned nightmare $$$$ spent!! Took my daughter car in for warranty service in Mississauga since it was closer to my home in Oakville. Was called in the day to advise of other work Took my daughter car in for warranty service in Mississauga since it was closer to my home in Oakville. Was called in the day to advise of other work - and I agreed to have the "brake flush" done..was called again and advised the "other parts were broken when the "flush" was undertaken and that screws were " too tight" and broken nuts could not be avoided. The Service Department rendered the car immobile. due their incompetence!.. had to pay Hundreds of $$ to fix the problem - (to add two nuts on car" .... this company is a ripe off and it would appear that they used trickery to obtain funds from a mere minor warranty cause.... I felt that my funds as well as peace of mind was stolen... to date - this is the worst experience I have had....if they needed a donation I would have gladly oblige... I felt that I was ROBBED!! My young daughter is so upset and this leaves her with a bad impression of the thieves and scams out there!! More
Be Careful. As others have indicated, there are information inconsistencies between verbal information and what is put on paper and what sales vs. finance says. As others have indicated, there are information inconsistencies between verbal information and what is put on paper and what sales vs. finance says. Check very carefully, take your time, consider taking papers away for full evaluation. Some additional charges may appear under blanket terms, which are not legal. You might be worn down by time delays and sudden speed ups. Chattiness may be in use to distract you from noticing vehicle drive and contract details. Review used car purchase recommendations before going in from advocacy and governing groups , if you choose to go here. Take your time on your terms. Many tactics to navigate. Disappointing, especially given the free publicity given to the place in the media due to sports/charity connection. Consider yourself warned. Do not assume anything is true unless you see it in print. If you are to see finance, consider doing that before any signing or deposit as story can change within a few feet/moments as anther reviewer indicated... push is to get you committed vs informed of operational detail. Those papers you may be rushed through are binding; so be certain each item in tiny print is what was discussed. Warranties may be offered, but not appear in print, you may be told they will appear elsewhere. Walk away if needed, you can come back or go elsewhere.. do not be rushed or herded. Consider looking at all the dealership reviews and consider if this is the one to deal with. Not saying you can't do it, just go in alert, aware and vigilant and ready to hit pause/leave as we should in all these situations. If I had read this review.. I'd have better known what to expect. This is a big headsup to you. Not great to have your ride associated with victim games. Power to you on your search. Don't lose faith in Humanity, just don't expect to find the best of it here. More
Very bad customer service experience. I moved from Montreal 2 years back and purchased our first car from Hyundai. At that time the staff in sales and services were very nice experience. I moved from Montreal 2 years back and purchased our first car from Hyundai. At that time the staff in sales and services were very nice but recently there have been changes and the new staff are extremely rude and outright disrespectful. I have always done all my services including oil change, tire changes and detailing of the car through the dealership even though friends would say to do those at other repair shops where I could get it for cheaper. On my last oil change, the staff forgot to put back the skid plate and I only found this issue now, which was a few months after, when I was selling my car and we were doing a safety test. The technicians at the government certified auto repair shop told me that the skid plate was missing and it was a complete shock as my car has never been in any accident. I only ever go to this dealership for the maintenance of my car. There were no marks or any broken piece where the skid was to show that it may have hit any object or was ripped off during any accident. The technicians clearly said it seemed someone took it off and never placed it back. I tried to call the dealership and I learnt there was a new assistant service manager. The previous service manager was very nice and knew us well for the last 2 years as we would do all our services there. I spoke to the new service manager and he was extremely rude and he was saying that the technicians at the repair shop do not require a skid plate to test for safety which was completely besides the point. At the dealership the guy told me to get out when I was trying to explain the situation and told me to buy a new one and that it was not the dealership's fault that the skid was missing when it was clearly an issue where the technician forgot to put back the skid after an oil change. He kept saying that because it was a couple of months after the oil change and he could not do anything. He said he didn't know me and he hasn't seen me here before so he can't help me. Do I have to go under my car after each servicing to now check if they have done everything properly!! They were unwilling to accept their mistake and it was even a safety issue as I was failing the safety test which put my life at risk while driving the car without a skid plate. The new service manager has no respect for clients and didn't even try to find a solution. He was not ready to listen to me. I tried to speak to the GM and apparently he was in a meeting but someone told us that he was seen walking around. Is that a dealership where you want to go to get a car or service when no one is willing to take responsibility for a mistake they made and the GM is hiding when there is clearly a safety risk on the cars. At the end I was able to speak to the Operations Manager and sort out the situation but this has left a very bad experience from this dealership. I will definitely never go there again nor will any of my friends or family. More
Trying to add fuel additive to oil change job without asking Brought car in for oil change. Waiting for ten minutes to get served. Even approached to non occupied techs who did not help. Long time employee sa Brought car in for oil change. Waiting for ten minutes to get served. Even approached to non occupied techs who did not help. Long time employee saw me waiting and got one of them to help. Since service manager, Mark left this is more normal unfortunately. The tech then tried the usual upsell. I don't mind this as it's there job. He then have me the form to sign for the oil change and it was about ten dollars more than usual. I questioned him on it and he said that was the price...I did I have receipts that site it is not. He then conveniently remembered he added the fuel additive without asking me.... The cost for the additive 10 dollars. This was a poor attempt to get an extra ten dollars from me. Unbelievable. If the service techs are paid on commission this is a huge problem for this dealership whose service levels used to be to notch. I am quicky losing my confidence in the integrity of the service staff here. It appears half are good and half are poor. More
